Women V Cancer is a unique partnership between Dream Challenges, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, we have raised more than £20 million in fundraising across a portfolio of one day mass participation cycling events and overseas multi-day cycling challenges.

The partnership has big aspirations for growth and is looking for someone to join as a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer with key responsibilities in relationship management across the partners, reporting and analysis, events marketing, and participant stewardship.

The right candidate will be a self-driven and experienced fundraiser, whose knowledge of marketing strategies in fundraising and events, alongside an impactful supporter journey, can enable the development and growth of this long-standing partnership. You will have experience of the charity sector, event delivery, and social media marketing.

Key Areas 

Marketing and stewardship

• Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.
• Assist in digital advertising of events including creations of social media campaigns and PPC.
• Assisting in maintenance and digital creation on the branded WVC microsite.
• Develop the partnerships first user-generated video content campaigns, and influencer campaigners, alongside the group Digital Marketing Manager.
• Assist with automated journeys from lead generation marketing.
• Assist with social media channels and assist in creating social media marketing.
• Create and send email marketing campaigns.
• Deliver stewardship journeys of registered participants on events.
• Increase the average fundraising raised per participant.
• Increase engagement and communications across relevant social media groups.

Relationship management

• Build strong relationships with all three parties and represent key stakeholder interests both internally and externally.
• Understand each individual partner’s ways of working, their individual tone of voice and organisational visions and ensure these are implemented across the partnership. 
• Coordinate project groups, communications and meetings, working with various teams within all parties to plan and schedule activities.

Reporting and analysis

• Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant. 
• Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
• Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
• Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
• Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.

General 

• Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice. 
• Identify new trends and scope out new product development. 
• Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.
• Help identify and build relationships with relevant celebrities or influencers to contribute to the Women V Cancer marketing strategy
• Work alongside charity partners to develop supporter journeys for a series of UK and Overseas events which will increase conversion, average gift and retention.
• Identifying high value fundraisers and create a specific supporter journey for these individuals.

Personal Specification 

Essential:

• Strong project management skills: a logical and thorough planner with the determination to see tasks through to completion. 
• Experience in charity stewardship and increasing fundraising on live events.
• Experience in marketing events and recruiting participants.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to understand and marry up different priorities.

• Third Sector experience in a fundraising or supporter facing role.

About the Role

As HR Officer you will support the HR Manager in a busy HR function. You will play a vital part in ensuring a high-quality HR service and smooth running of the organisation, including overseeing the recruitment process and organising staff training. By focusing on the operational and administrative aspects of HR, you will help our creative, diverse community to thrive and to make a difference in the life of people living with brain injury.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1.  Act as first point of contact on all HR queries from the staff team, pass on complex HR issues to the HR Manager and manage the HR and recruitment email inbox.
2. Work with the HR Manager to update or create HR policies and procedures following best practice and keeping up to date with current legislation. 
3. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring all elements are completed efficiently and effectively. Headway’s recruitment procedure includes: placing adverts, receiving applications, arranging interviews, taking up references, maintaining the diversity monitoring information, processing DBS, liaising with managers to organise inductions, and ensuring the smooth transition of new starters.
4. Laise with Line Managers to ensure smooth transitions for leavers, confirming last date, working out outstanding leave entitlement and arranging exit interviews.
5. Work with the HR Manager on employee relation issues including disciplinary, capability, grievances, and absence management.
6. Be responsible for the administration of Headway HRIS software  and collate HR reports from this as and when needed by the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees.
7. Work with the HR Manager to maintain and improve the staff training and development and ensure staff complete all mandatory and necessary trainings.
8. Maintain accurate HR records and information such as job descriptions, staff absences, changes to contracts, work patterns ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR regulations.
9. In the absence of the HR Manager work with the Finance Team to provide up to date payroll information to our payroll provider.
10. Manage the administration of the pension, salary sacrifice, and staff benefit schemes.
11. In conjunction with the Volunteer Co-ordinator provide administrative support in the recruitment process for volunteers, including taking up references, processing DBS and issuing agreements.

Vehicles for Change (T/A RevoLOOtion) is a thriving charity founded in 2018 providing fully accessible mobile toilets to festivals, shows, outdoor events and sporting fixtures across the UK.

This is a vital support service for those with disabilities and serious health conditions to participate in events that would be difficult or impossible to attend otherwise.

The Chief Executive Officer will work to deliver the vision, mission and strategic goals of organisation alongside the Trustee Board.

Location: This role is contractually based in Central London; however, we currently operate a hybrid working model with regular whole team face to face meetings once a month. About you

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our friendly events team at the British Ecological Society (BES). You’ll need at least one year’s demonstrable experience in delivering high-profile mid-sized events and conferences. Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Officer will:

• In collaboration with the Events Manager, oversee the delivery of allocated parts of the Society’s Annual Meeting, Symposia, and other events.

Working closely with Age UK's Network of 120+ local and independent Age UK partners, this role will support the delivery of projects across their life cycle, ranging from the implementation of funder-led reporting requirements to liaising with partners on the impact the project has had on their beneficiaries.

Our client, a leading regulatory authority is seeking a dedicated Regulatory Officer to join their team on a 6 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will engage in risk and evidence-based authorisation of individuals, chambers, and approved education and training organisations. Your efforts will help target regulation where it is most needed. Additionally, you will support various regulatory operations and provide essential administrative support to ensure the department's efficiency.

The department adopts a flexible approach to working and all staff are cross-skilled and capable of making authorisation decisions and carrying out supervisory activities as priorities demand. The emphasis of this post is on the authorisation work of the Department but there is a possibility, subject to capacity and the work demands of the Department, that the post holder will undertake work across the Department as required.

Main Responsibilities:

Authorisation Work

• Prioritise and assess authorisation applications within regulatory and target timescales.
• Apply the risk framework and relevant authorisation guidelines to produce robust and consistent decisions.
• Handle telephone and email queries related to authorisation activities in line with performance targets.
• Identify information requirements to facilitate robust reporting.

Administrative Support

• Provide administrative support across the Regulatory Operations Department, including:
• Database and electronic document management to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Organising and administering meetings, including taking minutes.
• Managing contracts, expenses, and other arrangements for External Examiners and quality assurance monitoring panels for accreditation and monitoring visits to new and existing training providers.
• Collecting and maintaining accurate candidate and provider data, contributing to key statistics and other reports as required.
• Coordination
• Handle queries and respond appropriately in line with relevant policies.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Head of Authorisations Operations, the Head of Contact & Assessment Team, the Head of Operational Support, or the Director of Regulatory.

To be considered for the role you will have the following, skills, knowledge, and experience:

You should have solid experience in applying decision-making frameworks and analysing information to make decisions against defined criteria. Demonstrable experience in effectively prioritising work in high-pressure environments with minimal supervision, along with a strong awareness of risk, is essential.

Proficiency with databases, a good understanding of regulation and supervision, and confident use of standard technology such as Outlook, Word, and Excel are required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to understand, apply, and explain rules and regulations, and a flexible, adaptable approach to changing circumstances are crucial.

Additionally, you should have equivalent work experience from a regulatory body, membership organisation, or another institution where you have handled authorisation work.

Desirable experience for this role includes:

Having a law degree or a Graduate Diploma in Law, and familiarity with undertaking risk-based audits and applying standard project management principles. Experience in supporting committees, from agenda preparation to minute-taking, and managing projects is highly valued. Additionally, knowledge of the legal profession and an understanding of higher education in the UK are advantageous.
