CAHN is seeking an ambitious, creative and experienced Head of Fundraising & Events to lead our fundraising and events portfolio and help drive the organisation’s next phase of growth.
You will lead fundraising development, identify new income opportunities, build strong relationships with funders, corporate partners and supporters, and deliver high-profile events that generate income, engagement and impact.
Working closely with senior colleagues and external stakeholders, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to grow sustainable income, strengthen partnerships and maximise opportunities for CAHN.
We are looking for a confident and results-driven professional with a proven fundraising and events track record, excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for tackling health inequalities affecting Black Caribbean and African communities.

The role
As a Finance Manager at Cruse Bereavement Support you will oversee the day-to-day financial transactions made by Cruse Bereavement Support and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all income and expenditure transactions undertaken. You will also assist in implementing the financial control within the team, oversee month-end processes and monthly payroll, and prepare the monthly management accounts and supporting information. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience at a national charity and make a difference.

The Opportunity
The International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) are looking to hire an International Medical Engagement & Communications Coordinator. This role will be fully remote, working closely with UK business hours. It is initially a 0.6 part-time role on a permanent basis.
This role will suit someone who has experience working in a communications or engagement role with a medical society or university and having dealt with international stakeholders.
There may be some travel requirements to Aberdeen or internationally.
Experience and Qualifications
Education: A healthcare sciences or pharmacy qualification to degree level is essential, you may also have qualifications in medical writing.
Experience: It is essential that you have experience working for a professional medical society, university or similar organisation with international stakeholders. You should have experience in a medical communications-type role.

The purpose of this role is to lead the design and delivery of learning programmes that help social entrepreneurs create lasting impact. You’ll take direct responsibility for facilitating cohorts as well as leading 1-2-1 coaching and diagnostics, and delivering Action Learning Sets, SSE’s long-standing peer-coaching method (training provided). You’ll hold accountability for the quality of programmes allocated to you. You’ll work alongside our learning facilitators and our learning and enterprise development managers to ensure every programme stays true to our action learning approach.
As SSE deepens its focus on commercial acumen and scale-up support, you’ll help make sure that direction reaches every cohort you work with — keeping your programmes as sharp, practical and impactful as everything else we do. You’ll bring your own commercial awareness to how you facilitate, and build relationships with contributors, speakers and specialists who can bring real-world commercial expertise into the room for your cohorts.
