The Way Youth Zone is looking to recruit a Fundraising Coordinator to support the growth and sustainability of the charity’s income by coordinating and delivering a range of fundraising initiatives. The role has a particular focus on corporate engagement, individual giving, fundraising events and appeals, and community fundraising activities. What’s essential is that you love what you do. Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Support the planning and delivery of fundraising campaigns, helping to drive engagement across staff, volunteers, and supporters, and coordinating promotional actvities to maximise participation and income.
2. Assist the Corporate Partnerships Manager in developing and maintaining relationships with corporate supporters, focusing on Charity of the Year partnerships, employee fundraising, payroll giving, and corporate events.
3. Represent The Way Youth Zone at selected external community events and networking opportunities, acting as a positive ambassador to promote fundraising initiatives, and build relationships with potential supporters.
4. Coordinate internal and external fundraising events, including recruiting participants, providing fundraising guidance, sourcing raffle prizes and gifts in kind, and supporting event logistics.
5. Assist with development of an individual giving pipeline, supporting donor acquisition, stewardship, and retention through regular communications, appeals, and relationship-building activities.
6. Maintain accurate records of fundraising actvities and donor interactions using the Salesforce CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR.
7. Contribute ideas and feedback to support the development of fundraising plans and improve supporter engagement, drawing on insights from campaigns and events.
Required Qualifications / Experience
Compulsory
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. 2. Excellent organisa1onal skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support events.
3. Experience using digital tools, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), or a willingness to learn.
4. Demonstrable transferable skills from roles in customer service, sales, marketing, events, or community engagement.
Desirable
1. Experience supporting fundraising or income generation, either professionally or through volunteering.
2. Understanding of individual giving and donor stewardship, or experience in customer relationship management.
3. Knowledge of corporate engagement, such as employee fundraising, sponsorship, or partnership development.
4. Familiarity with the charity sector, fundraising regulations, or the Fundraising Code of Practice.

Increased levels of schools/community fundraising participation, including schools fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join SSAFA -– The Armed Forces Chairty - Republic of Ireland as the Casework co-ordinator of the Leopardstown Park Hospital Trust.
As part of this role you will process grant applications for British military veterans in Ireland. Funded by the Leopardstown Park Hospital Trust and managed by SSAFA, the role involves handling grant applications empathetically, maintaining records and & providing management reports.
You will be part of the Irish regional team who are the first point of contact to all beneficiaries seeking assistance and information from both the Trust fund and wider SSAFA. You will also have ownership of applications from beginning to end, coordinating the process in a timely manner and ensuring that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the service.
At all times you will adhere to the safeguarding, confidentiality, and data-protection policies.
To help you establish yourself you will receive training and induction for SSAFA, with specific guidance on Leopardstown Park Hospital Trust grant application and procedures.
The post is based at our offices in Dublin, with the potential for hybrid of office and home-based working, after successfully completing the probation period.
About the team
In this role, you will work closely with the Leopardstown Park Hospital Trust, SSAFA Republic of Ireland Branch management, and the broader SSAFA employee and volunteer networks. You will report daily to the SSAFA Republic of Ireland Branch & Casework Manager and Branch Chair, with management support provided by the Regional Operations Manager. Additionally, you will have monthly reporting responsibilities to the Leopardstown Park Hospital Trustees.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing excellent beneficiary/ client focussed services by telephone, e-mail and face to- face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard and be accustomed to using either Customer Relations Management and/ or Case Management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. The successful candidate will have experience of planning and managing their own workload, with minimal supervision. It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s service personnel, veterans and their families.
About the Leopardstown Park Hospital Trust
Leopardstown Park Hospital Trust is an Irish registered charity established after World War I to support British military veterans in Ireland who were injured, made ill, or otherwise needing assistance due to their service. Today, the Trust continues to provide financial support to retired British military veterans across Ireland.
The Trust offers grants based on a needs assessment, with eligibility often linked to recipients of a UK War Pension or Armed Forces Compensation Scheme payment. These grants help cover welfare expenses, including winter fuel costs, medical bills, and essential living needs.
In 2011, the Trust partnered with SSAFA to manage the distribution of these grants to UK armed forces veterans in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, in line with the agreed terms.
SSAFA, an independent military charity, provides practical, emotional, and financial support to veterans and their families, including administering the Trust's grants. The Trust Administrator, will be a SSAFA employee, funded by the Trust, with primary responsibility for processing grant applications

The Tours & Projects Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of several key areas of the Orchestra’s core performance activity, including but not limited to: international stand-alone concerts, tours and residencies; UK tours, engagements and festival performances; commercial recordings and special projects.
Working in a fast-paced environment as part of a friendly, fun and creative team, the role of Tours & Projects Manager provides a unique opportunity to work with leading musicians and conductors. Excellent organisational and budgeting skills, attention to detail, innovative thinking and a flexible approach to working will help you manage, develop and execute a diverse range of projects to the highest standard.
With oversight from the Senior Concerts Manager and Concerts Director, the post-holder will work closely with the Concerts Coordinators, Concerts Assistant and the Orchestra Operations Team in the delivery of outstanding performances in territories as varied as the UK, USA, Asia and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
• Planning and coordinating of all international tours and residencies undertaken by the Orchestra, • Planning and coordinating of UK-based performances, engagements and tours outside of the Orchestra’s core regional residencies.
• Planning and coordinating commercial recordings and special projects, shared with Concerts & Projects Manager, according to orchestra schedule.
• Developing and managing detailed itineraries, travel schedules, visas, freight and accommodation for musicians, artists, staff and equipment.
• Preparing project budgets, managing and maintaining set budgets and final reconciliation and invoicing, including international tax applications on behalf of the Orchestra.
• Liaising with the Orchestra’s Head of Production and Stage Managers regarding practical arrangements for all concerts and projects, including, but not limited to, stage plans, stage extensions, ATA carnet applications; truck requirements, second instruments etc.
• Liaising closely with the Orchestra Librarians on orchestrations and editions for repertoire being performed or recorded.
• Supervising the Concerts Coordinators and Assistant in the practical delivery of contracts, PPE letters, technical riders, dressing room and security lists, rehearsal venue bookings, flight and hotel lists etc. • Keeping abreast of all relevant agreements and updates from the Association of British Orchestras and Musicians’ Union concerning touring best practice and regulation.
• Liaising with the Orchestra Committee and Artistic Committee regarding player matters as directed by Senior Concerts Manager/Concerts Director.
• Travel with the Orchestra on all international tours and attending concerts & projects within the UK as necessary.
• Upholding and demonstrating the Orchestra's values. Representing the Philharmonia with utmost professionalism at all times.
• Undertaking such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Company.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
• Minimum three years’ managerial experience in classical music administration preferably with a focus on tour management
• Demonstrable experience in performance production and scheduling; including knowledge of international visas, tax and travel.
• A passion for orchestral music;
• Meticulous attention to detail;
• Self-motivated and a diligent worker;
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise whilst working across a wide range of projects at any one time;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal being able to converse with a wide range of stakeholders;
• Ability to problem solve independently, quickly and under pressure;
• Ability to find creative solutions independently;
• Ability to work as part of a team; Ability to motivate junior colleagues;
• Demonstrate hands-on and positive attitude during projects;
• Willingness to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends; and to travel outside London and the UK, as required.

• Skills in concert management
• Previous employment with a symphony orchestra
• Knowledge of the working practices of a professional orchestra (including ABO/MU agreements that apply to a professional freelance orchestra)
• Knowledge of orchestral repertoire
Reporting Structure
Reporting to the Concerts Director. Line Management of the Tours & Projects Co-ordinator
Employment Type
Full time, based in London with weekend and evening work as required by the orchestra’s schedule.
Location
The role will be based at our administrative office in Southwark, London SE1; however, the role will require frequent travel both within the UK and internationally. This role will regularly require you to travel with the Orchestra on tour, being away for periods of between one week to over two weeks at a time.
