We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Public Fundraising Manager in our fundraising team at St Joseph’s Hospice.

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to join our small but dynamic fundraising team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the public fundraising team – overseeing the recruitment and retention of individual supporters and community organisations through appeals, regular giving, in-memory, challenge events and fundraising activities. 

About you

You will need:

• Significant experience working in the public fundraising environment with specialism in one of the following: Individual Giving, Community & Events or Legacy & In-Memory fundraising.
• Experience in line management and supervision, providing support and leadership.
• Experience of developing donor journeys and delivering excellent supporter stewardship to retain donors.

The Forward Trust delivers clinical and psychosocial substance misuse services across Surrey prisons, working in close partnership with NHS healthcare providers. We are looking for a Service Manager to lead our service at HMP Highdown in Sutton, Surrey, a Category C men’s training and resettlement prison with a diverse and complex population.

About the role

Based on site, you’ll lead a skilled multi-disciplinary team delivering recovery-focused psychosocial and clinical interventions to adults aged 18+. Collaboration is key – you’ll work closely with prison staff, healthcare, mental health services and external partners to ensure joined-up care.

Key responsibilities

• Line manage and support Team Leaders within the service
• Contribute to strategic development and Forward Trust’s business plan alongside the Regional Manager
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the prison and partner agencies
• Produce performance reports for commissioners and attend contract meetings
• Ensure accurate data submission, audit compliance and adherence to CQC standards

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Forestry and Harvesting Manager. The Forestry and Harvesting Manager is a key role in Wales which will work alongside our Site Managers for the Woodland Trusts Wales Estate. The role will be responsible for implementing and supporting the planning, preparation and delivery of harvesting and forestry operations. This will include infrastructure projects across the Wales Estate.

The Role: 

• This role is a key role in Wales which will work alongside our Site Managers for the Woodland Trust Wales estates. The role will be responsible for implementing and supporting the planning, preparation and delivery of the harvesting and forestry and tree safety operations and will include some infrastructure projects across the Wales region.
• Actively plan, specify, tender, procure and supervise the implementation of contacts on the estate to the highest professional standard, ensuring full compliance with our FSC certification and following the Woodland Trusts Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• You will conduct qualitative standards, mapping, timber mensuration, tree inspections, tree safety management and other data gathering to support the delivery of operations throughout the estates.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, local communities, partners and volunteers to discuss plans and projects to allow the opportunity for them to share their views.
• You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to streamline procurement of services and increase efficiency through packaging works into multi-site and multi-year contracts.
• Project manage a range of projects and programmes ensuring they are completed to a timely manner and to a budget. working with external partners and a cross-departmental team of foresters, people engagement specialists, communications specialists and funders.
• This is a homebased role, requiring regular travel across a wide area, mainly Wales but also across the UK, sometimes to remote locations. Occasional travel to regional offices and overnight stays will be required.
• This is a fixed term contract until August 2028.

The Candidate: 

• Experience in managing forestry and land on sites of high conservation importance with experience in writing and reviewing harvesting plans.
• Experience in carrying out inspections, managing tree safety and dealing with tree pests and diseases, such as Ash Dieback, and dealing with issues appropriately as they arise.
• Understanding of planning consents, felling licenses, access agreements, EPS, EIA’s and other species consents.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally, being able to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, local communities, corporate organisations, partners and volunteers to gains opinions on projects.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, contracts and contractors and deliver projects on time and to a budget. You’ll have a positive approach and be able to prioritise, manage your own time and meet targets to tight deadlines.
• Understanding of FSC certification, UKWAS, CDM regulations and practical issues faced when managing woodland.
• Hold a HND/Degree level in forestry, land management or other related field or significant demonstrable experience
• This role requires regular travel around the Wales region. A full driving licence is required. A commercial vehicle is provided with this role.

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will help the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust build strong, meaningful partnerships with corporations. But you won’t be starting from scratch! We area already benefitting from partnerships with a few well-known brands and have others interested in collaborating. Your work will focus on researching new opportunities, planning how to grow partnerships, and developing approaches that support both short term and long-term income for the charity. 

Not surprisingly, a key part of the role is building and maintaining relationships through great communication, regular updates, and exceptional stewardship. You will also be writing engaging and easy to understand partnership proposals that show how organisations can benefit from working with the Trust, while also helping to advance our purpose.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Developing a new business strategy that increases sponsorship income from corporate partners. 
• Creating partnership offers that provide value to both sides. These should attract companies that share our values and can support our projects, products, and programmes.
• Securing new sponsorship and significantly growing income by developing clear and persuasive proposals. This includes shaping each proposal through regular engagement with corporate contacts and coordinating input from multiple teams to produce strong, evidence-based submissions.
• Providing excellent stewardship to all partners. This includes personalised communication, meaningful recognition and clear reporting. The goal is to build long term, positive relationships with both prospects and existing partners. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with delivery colleagues to develop engaging and persuasive communications, developing strong relationships with partners and the rewarding challenge of fundraising!

Prostate Progress is Prostate Cancer Research’s flagship digital data programme, supporting prostate cancer research, service improvement, and clinical trial recruitment using patient-reported outcomes and NHS clinical data.

This role will provide senior-level project management and delivery coordination across the Prostate Progress programme. The postholder will be responsible for organising, tracking, and supporting delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring strong governance, clear documentation, and effective coordination between internal teams and external partners.

Working closely with the Director of Patient Projects & Influencing, the role will help ensure day-to-day delivery runs smoothly and predictably, enabling senior leadership to focus on strategy and long-term programme development.

Responsibilities

Programme & project management

• Provide day-to-day delivery leadership across the Prostate Progress programme, prioritising activity, resolving delivery issues, and escalating strategically where required.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, and risk registers.
• Track progress against milestones, flagging risks, dependencies, and delays.
• Support delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring activity is coordinated and documented.
• The postholder will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, using experience and judgement to manage competing priorities and delivery challenges.

NHS data linkage & data onboarding

• Support coordination of the NHS pilot, including:
  • Attending meetings with NHS partners, SDEs, and internal teams
  • Tracking delivery milestones and actions
  • Escalating issues and risks to the Director
• Explore and scope opportunities for new datasets in collaboration with the Director, including:
  • Imaging and image metadata
  • Digital pathology
  • NLP-enabled free-text data
• Engage with potential partners to understand feasibility, requirements, and delivery implications.
• Develop and present clear options, delivery approaches, and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Support delivery and onboarding activity once priorities and approaches are agreed, coordinating activity across internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain clear records of data onboarding status and timelines.

Regional coordination & expansion support

• Support coordination of Prostate Progress expansion activity in Scotland.
• Assist with early-stage feasibility work relating to potential expansion into Wales.

Governance & secretariat support

• Act as secretariat to the Prostate Progress Steering Committee, including:
  • Coordinating quarterly meetings
  • Preparing agendas, papers, and briefing packs
  • Recording actions and following up on agreed next steps
• Support the establishment and coordination of Task & Finish Groups, including:
  • Organising meetings
  • Tracking actions and outputs
  • Ensuring findings are captured and fed back into programme delivery

Internal communication

• Ensure relevant teams are kept informed of progress on data onboarding, recruitment activity, and delivery timelines.

Skills and Competencies

· Proven experience in project management or delivery coordination within digital, data, health, or research environments.
