About the role:

This is a leadership role with real scale, real accountability and real impact. As Services Manager, you’ll lead a multi-site service supporting young people across Greenwich - shaping environments that are safe, consistent and genuinely geared towards helping young people move forward with confidence.

Your presence will be felt across every part of the service. You’ll move between sites, staying close to delivery while holding a clear line of sight on performance, quality and risk. You’ll back your teams to deliver strong, personalised support while keeping a firm grip on housing management, safeguarding and service standards - making sure good practice isn’t occasional, but embedded everywhere.

This is about more than oversight. You’ll build confident, reflective teams who understand young people’s experiences and respond with clarity, consistency and belief in what’s possible. Psychologically informed, trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches won’t sit in policy - you’ll make sure they show up in how teams think, act and support every day.

You’ll also be the connector across the system. Working closely with commissioners, local authorities and partners, you’ll ensure referrals are right, pathways are clear and move-on is intentional from day one. You’ll use data, insight and feedback to challenge drift, drive improvement and keep the service evolving - because standing still isn’t an option when young people are relying on you to get this right.

About you:

• You’re an experienced manager who can lead and develop teams across multi-site, accommodation-based services, holding clear accountability for performance and standards.
• You have a strong grasp of housing management, safeguarding and health & safety, and are confident managing risk and complexity in a young people’s service.
• You bring experience of working with young people facing multiple disadvantage, and can embed trauma-informed, psychologically informed and strengths-based approaches in practice.
• You build credible, effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners and partner agencies, and represent your service with confidence and clarity.
• You use data, insight and professional judgement to challenge, improve and strengthen outcomes, leading with integrity, curiosity and resilience.

You will benefit from an interest in housing and must be able to work with Parish Councils, Housing Associations and Local Housing & Planning Authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support, advise and steer communities, and town and parish councillors from their initial interest in providing affordable housing, through scheme inception and pre-development phases to completion, with the aim of increasing the speed of schemes through the pre-development phase.
• Assist communities to identify the nature and extent of affordable local housing need in their community including, where appropriate, through a Housing Needs Survey.
• Assist communities to identify a deliverable site for development of affordable housing and/or secure affordable housing as part of market led schemes.
• Build collaborative partnerships with key partners to provide a clear pathway to a successful planning application and delivery. Partners may include, but are not limited to, local communities, parish councils, housing association staff, officers from the Local Authorities (including in their role as providers of affordable housing) and local developers.
• Provide project management including regular reporting on project progress against workplan and housing pipeline.

Key requirements

• Experience of building and sustaining relationships within and across organisations and sectors, and working collaboratively.
• A highly capable communicator in person and in writing. Able to engage the public, local politicians, and officials on their own terms, whilst remaining independent and trusted.
• Experience delivering research, strategic assessment & planning, data analysis, and evaluation reports.
• Excellent organisational, planning and management skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Agile and proactive in approach to challenges and opportunities.
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• Competent user of databases and the Microsoft suite of software.
• Either Full British driving licence and access to private means of transport or ability to demonstrate how you will meet this requirement.
• Available to work evenings and weekends when necessary (in accordance with our Time Off In Lieu Policy)

As a Regional Manager at Julian House, you’ll play a vital leadership role in tackling homelessness and changing lives for the better. What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and inspire Service Managers, providing oversight across multiple projects and driving continuous improvement to ensure services thrive within Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE).
• Oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of outreach, support, and accommodation services, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and excellence.
• Drive performance and impact through robust KPI reporting, using accurate data and high‑quality analysis to identify gaps, implement action plans, and support service improvement.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships, working collaboratively with internal teams and key external stakeholders, including local authorities, probation services, and commissioners.
• Participate in the senior management on‑call rota, providing leadership oversight and back‑up support to local on‑call teams when required.

About the role

The Regional Communications Officer role is an exciting and varied opportunity to work with Emmaus communities across the South of the UK, helping to raise their profile and engage supporters.

You will work closely with up to four Emmaus communities to identify their communications needs and deliver a mix of activity to help them achieve their goals. As part of a wider team, you will also share ideas and build on each other’s experience to maximise PR, digital and communications opportunities.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home or from within an Emmaus community.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to this role. Regular travel to your allocated communities is essential, typically at least once a week, so we are looking for someone based in or around London. You will also attend quarterly team meetings, usually held in Birmingham, although these may occasionally take place elsewhere in the UK and may require an overnight stay.

This is a part-time role, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 22.5 hours a week (three days) and the potential for the role to be four days a week (30 hours), to be confirmed at interview.

We are looking for someone with a strong communications skillset and at least two years’ experience in a busy communications, public relations or marketing role. While not essential, knowledge of homelessness and the charity sector would be an advantage.

To transform a 15‑acre rural site with an indoor pool into a thriving, financially sustainable sanctuary.
This role is central to delivering the commercial engine that makes the mission possible.

The Role Purpose

To deliver the 2026/27 Strategic Marketing Plan, with a clear focus on securing high-occupancy, whole-site bookings.

The role exists to achieve 29.4% annual occupancy, equivalent to 10,353 guest nights, primarily through profitable, multi-day group bookings across defined market segments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Generation and Lead Conversion

• Full House Equivalent (FHE) tracking:
  Manage the Breakeven Basket and deliver 103 full-site days per year
• Segmented value propositions:
  Lead and refine messaging for four core markets:
  Faith | Schools | Private Hire | Wellness
• Midweek profit growth:
  Target corporate retreats and “Work from Hotel” style bookings to maximise midweek utilisation

2. Digital and Channel Management

• OTA performance management:
  Oversee Airbnb and Booking dot com listings for The Stables, balancing commission risk against yield
• Direct booking conversion:
  Design and implement return-stay incentives to reduce reliance on third-party platforms
• Content and storytelling:
  Champion high-quality visual content (photo, video, social) to differentiate the venue from institutional competitors

3. Commercial Analysis and Yield

• TRevPAG growth:
  Drive an increase of £2+ per guest through secondary revenue streams, including tuck shop, pool hire, and additional meals
• Yield management support:
  Work with the Operations Director to apply Minimum Facility Fees and dynamic pricing during peak demand periods

4. Relationship and Community Management

• Church and mission-led partnerships:

Experience

  • Primary and junior schools
  • Church or faith-based organisations

This role could suit someone with broader marketing and communications experience including income generating campaigns, who is interested in applying their skills in a fundraising/nonprofit context.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in local communities. Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North West region, which include Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Chesire. There will be occasional travel around the North West  and you may be required to travel at short notice for face to face meetings.

About the team

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the North West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The wider support team includes a Casework Manager and a Regional Operations Support Manager.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the North West would be valuable.

we are looking for an Events Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in managing, developing and growing our events fundraising area income stream. 

The Events Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing the event fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale, including large scale, virtual, bespoke challenge, third party and individual events. You will also lead on innovation and new projects with the aim of increasing our profile and income, to support our aim to end rough sleeping, and continue providing support to people experiencing homelessness. Key responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop events fundraising programme, supporting the current portfolio and leading on new activities.
• Recruit, steward and grow our event fundraisers and improve retention with engaging comms and increased donor initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities.
• Working closely with the marketing and digital fundraising team to promote and raise the profile for our events.
• Oversee end to end project management, and challenge event delivery, solving problems along the way.

Where you’ll be working
