We are looking for a Head of Fundraising who can galvanise support for our work from funders and donors, develop a high-performing fundraising team, and support colleagues in developing fundable projects to restore habitats, engage people and bring wildlife back. To grow the Trust’s income to enable us to achieve our vision of restoring the abundance of wildlife throughout our area
Main Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Trust’s fundraising, overseeing development of prospect pipelines and growing income year on year from membership, major donors, individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, grants and charitable trusts, ensuring that the Trust achieves its restricted and unrestricted income targets
• Inspire funding support for the Trust’s work through relationship-based fundraising with major donors, corporates and grant-making bodies
• Enable delivery colleagues to secure funding for their work, supporting the development of fundable projects and high quality bids and securing continuation funding
• Stimulate growth in individual giving from members and non-members through the development and implementation of an ambitious plan incorporating supporter development, recruitment and retention.
• Ensure fundraising systems are working effectively and all activity is compliant with the Trust’s policies, fundraising guidelines from regulators, and all relevant legislation, including Data Protection and Health and Safety.
• Manage an integrated functional team across fundraising, contribute to the direction and development of the Trust as a member of the leadership team and undertake other duties in line with the role as requested
We want to see nature restored on a grand scale across the Avon region. We have big plans between now and 2030 to see this happen.

Data Quality and Governance Lead

About the role and person:
- As a Data Quality and Governance Lead, a summary of your role involves:
- Reporting to the Head of Data you’ll be responsible for delivering improvements in data quality and governance across the Group ensuring they fulfil their organisational ambitions to build a better future for their customers.
- What skills/behaviours do you need to be their Data Quality & Governance Lead?
- Excellent knowledge of data and information management principles.
- Significant and proven experience of project managing data & information improvement projects.
- Experience in managing data governance frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of governance principles for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
- Experience in implementing change successfully including delivering training.
- Experience writing policies and procedures with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to Bradford City Centre. They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.
They’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
Should you wish to work occasionally from any of their regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via their online booking system.
The spot salary for this post is £47,128 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy programme at HMP Foston Hall, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based. The role of the Finance & Admin Assistant will be pivotal in providing both financial and administrative aid, alongside office services, to ensure the Country Office operates smoothly
- Administration: Accountable for the routine management of the office, ensuring all operations run smoothly.
- Office Premises: Supervising the office environment and maintaining all office equipment to guarantee they are in a excellent working condition.
- Facility Maintenance: Responsible for organising cleaning and gardening services to maintain the office premises effectively.
- Contract Management: Checking all agreements with the landlord, security firm, IT consultant, cleaning service, and other pertinent suppliers, ensuring robust supervision of security personnel.

Knowledge (Education and Related Experience):
- Demonstrable experience in office administration and financial management.
- Strong ability to oversee office premises and general maintenance of office equipment.

- Competency in handling invoices, verifying them, and ensuring proper cost allocation.
Skills (Special Training or Competence):
