We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead and develop a function that supports our charity in making decisions based on data and insight. To establish a business intelligence centre of excellence, championing best practices, standardisation and data governance.
You will be leading and managing our Business Intelligence Team, including operational planning and budgeting. Helping to develop and deliver an annual operating plan that aligns with, and supports our strategic objectives. Working with our Senior Executive Team to ensure that our internal stakeholders are informed of the reach and impact of our work, and methods of improvement. You will be building excellent working relationships with all our stakeholders both internal and external.
As a member of the Management Development Forum, you will be expected to provide leadership across the organisation, including liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and deputising for the Head of Operations as required.

About you
- You will have strong reporting and analytical skills

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategy, vision and impact [25%]
- Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
- Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
- Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets
Leadership, line management and training [25%]
- Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

What’s in it for you

The Portfolio Development & Innovation Manager is part of the new Fundraising Planning team, following the launch of the Three Giants Fundraising strategy. This team is dedicated to putting our audiences at the heart of planning, and innovating to ensure we’re working towards our goals as effectively as possible.
As well as leading the annual review of our Fundraising portfolio, this role will be responsible for developing our new fundraising innovation strategy; working with teams across the organisation to understand what innovation means to the Legion and designing processes and toolkits to embed new ways of working as part of this approach.
We have a new strategy; a new structure and we’re now looking for new people to join our growing fundraising team. You will manage the operation of the Library and be responsible for the ongoing acquisition and processing of printed and published material for the Library’s collections, in line with our Collections Development Policy. CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the administration and delivery of the programme. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent. We are keen to have someone joiun us as soon as possible.
The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.
The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. At Ambitious about Autism, we’re currently looking for a Research Manager to join our External Affairs team.
You’ll conduct and commission research projects, publish and disseminate research findings to ensure we are maximising our reach and impact, and ensure that we are using relevant and up-to-date evidence throughout our work.
You’ll identify key research needs and questions to continually improve our activities and impact for autistic children and young people, drafting briefs and managing independent researchers to deliver projects on time and to budget.
You’ll use both quantitative and qualitative research methods to develop and support co-produced research with autistic children and young people, as well as parents and carers, whilst ensuring that new evidence is embedded into our resources, working collaboratively with the policy, communications, fundraising and service delivery teams to ensure that we maximise the impact of our findings.
The successful candidate will be joining the organisation at an exciting time and this role will play a central role in providing an evidence base for us to influencing Government, as well as enable us to engage media and public attention to our calls for change.
