Job Title: Another Chance Programme Lead

Power2 is a fast growing and energetic youth charity that has supported 27,000 young people since 2001.  We are based in Greater Manchester and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to young people experiencing vulnerabilities and disadvantages who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme.

We support young people to get the most out of their education by helping them to improve their mental health and wellbeing and develop their skills. We inspire young people who are at significant risk of school exclusion to re-engage and fulfil their potential at school, at work and in life.

We have been commissioned by the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit to deliver the Another Chance programme in the City of Manchester and North Trafford, supporting young people aged 14-25 involved in group-based serious violent offending to leave a life of violent crime behind them. We are now recruiting Programme Leads to provide 1:1 mentoring support to these young people and to help them access positive support and social services to prevent further offending.

We are particularly looking for people with experience of working with young people aged 14-25 at risk of criminal involvement and exploitation, and their families.

The relationships you cultivate with the young people you work with are at the heart of our success – so recruiting the right people is paramount. Our programme leads work with significant autonomy and authority and must embrace responsibility and be accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower them to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with their own future. Oasis Youth Support Project Administrator

Oasis Community Hub Hadley and North Middlesex University Hospital

Part-Time, 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking for a project Administrator to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital, a project supporting young people who have experienced violence which has had a negative impact on their mental wellbeing.

Duties Include;

1. Updating and maintaining the project’s database from local NHS systems.

2. Identifying young people eligible for the service by screening referrals or trawling the hospital system and ensuring these are collated on the project database to be contacted by the youth workers.

3. Quality assure the data being recorded on the EVIDE system.

4. Preparing regular reports as required by the projects funders or other stakeholders.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience with administration, including using excel, word and other Microsoft systems.

· Have an eye for detail and accuracy.

· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.

· Are self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

Please be aware that although the role does not require face to face work with young people, the post-holder will be regularly reviewing and inputting details of incidents relating to youth violence.

Key responsibilities

·You will provide an ethical, professional counselling service at Peacehaven Heights

·Run a suitable appointment system flexible to the needs of the school, offering students appropriate assessments and counselling appointments

·Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload

·You will establish good professional working relationships with key school staff. This will include discussion of referrals, waiting lists and appointments, managing a session timetable within the school day and agreeing a process for students coming to and from sessions

·Carry out initial clinical and risk assessments and establish appropriate referral pathways with other services where appropriate. Continually assess risk throughout each student’s counselling

·You will be required to undertake assessments with parents/carers and counselling sessions, complete all associated admin and attend regular clinical supervision and line management meetings

·Follow YMCA Dialogue safeguarding procedures; to know who the School’s Designated Safeguarding Officer/s is and how to contact them when a safeguarding concern arises

·Work at all times within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and maintain individual membership of the BACP (or other professional body such as HCPC)

ADSS (Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services) believes in enabling those who live with dementia to live well. ADSS is Kent’s biggest independent charity dedicated to providing support to people affected by dementia. Following a significant expansion in 2022, the team is now supporting more people than ever before. Summary of the role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the role will support the implementation of our 2030 Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with colleagues in Fundraising, Communications and Delivery Teams. The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining and growing Individual Giving, through key digital platforms. They will support the Head of Fundraising in researching and implementing new platforms as ADSS develops its fundraising capacity and capability.

The successful candidate will bring creativity, innovation, and great donor stewardship and retention skills to ensure that the Charity achieves its ambitious fundraising goals.

Main purpose of job

The individual Giving Fundraiser will be responsible for the delivery of ADSS fundraising from individual donors, primarily through digital platforms.

The post holder will handle stewardship contact with all individual donors and fundraisers with warmth and appropriate enthusiasm and sensitivity. Our supporters participate in a variety of events and have a range of motivations for giving to the Charity including families who are raising funds in memory of a loved one.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will gain exposure to a variety of income streams through collaboration with Fundraising colleagues and volunteers.

Together, you will explore opportunities to diversify ADSS’s funding streams and look for ways digital platforms can enhance Corporate and Community Fundraising and vice versa.

The Role Responsibilities

Maintain and grow ADSS’s income from individual supporters with a focus on digital platforms.

Lead on the delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns and optimising supporter journeys.

Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns.

Fundraising Strategy and Planning:

·Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including regular giving, to support ADSS’s mission, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

·Organise and execute fundraising campaigns and events, including individual giving, special events, and online fundraising efforts.

·Prepare and present detailed reports on fundraising progress to leadership and maintain an accurate pipeline.

·Monitor expenditure for individual events and campaigns to secure a profitable return on investment.

·Support the team to identify and develop new revenue streams to increase support for ADSS programmes and services.

·Keep up to date with industry developments to contribute to the overall development of the fundraising department. Continually monitor digital trends and be willing to adapt to this quickly changing area.

Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:

·In collaboration with the Communications Team, increase our geographical area of reach and influence, across Kent, to grow our donor base.

·Work with families and the wider ADSS team to support the development of case studies to tell donors the stories of ADSS’s work.

·Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring their continued support.

·Implement strategies for donor recognition and retention, including personalised outreach, acknowledgements, impact reports, and engagement opportunities.

·Develop and maximise communication tools and materials to keep all donors updated with our key messaging and impact.

·Engage with the community through various communication channels, promoting the organisation’s mission and fundraising opportunities.

·Manage online platforms and income pages of our website to maximise the potential channels for donation.

Corporate and Community Partnerships:

Work with the Corporate and Community Fundraisers to:

·Develop Individual Giving programmes within Corporate and Community partnerships

·Ensure that digital platforms support their efforts to cultivate relationships with local businesses and community groups to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and in-kind donations.

·Engage community leaders and influencers to increase visibility and support for ADSS’s fundraising efforts.

·Explore the role of digital platforms in new partnerships to diversify revenue streams and enhance community engagement.

Donor Database Management:

·Maintain and update our donor database, ensuring accurate records of donations, communications, and engagement history.

·Analyse one-off and regular giving performance and optimise programmes based on insights

·Manage the Membership recruitment process

·Track progress towards fundraising goals, preparing regular reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.

·Work within GDPR and the Fundraising Code of Practice at all times.

· We support ill or injured men and women to have a safe place to call home, a home that meets their specific needs.

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across Hampshire/Hampshire/West Sussex but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.

The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.

This is a community-based position working from home but covering Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex, delivering both remote and face to face support, ideally you will be currently based in one of these areas.  The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions.  Occasional travel to London will be required.  The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

About the role

This new role will be part of our Supporter Engagement team, which includes Special and Challenge Events Fundraising, Community Fundraising, Individual Giving and Supporter Care. Our Special Events programme has expanded significantly in recent years, and we
have ambitious plans as part of our new three-year strategy. As part of this, we organise a diverse range of fundraising events, including a Comedy Night, Garden Party, Sports Quiz, Carol Service and Gala dinner.

Working closely with the Head of Supporter Engagement, the Special Events Officer will play a key role in developing and managing our special events programme. This includes overseeing multiple aspects of event planning and execution, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team to produce high-quality event materials and ensuring that every event runs smoothly. Additionally, you will help manage key relationships and maximise fundraising income.

A key focus of this role will be leading the organisation of our annual Carol Service at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, while also exploring opportunities to develop a new special event that diversifies our income streams and broadens our audience.
You will also stay ahead of industry trends, conducting competitor research and analysis to ensure our events remain innovative, competitive, and appealing to supporters.

Main duties

• Supporting the co-ordination and delivery of our special events programme.
• Manage the core elements of special events delivery such as the co-ordination of auction prizes, guest lists, guest requirements, admin and communications.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to produce event materials including event programmes.
• Support the Philanthropy Officer with the organisation of our annual cultivation event.
• Support the Head of Supporter Engagement to identify opportunities for income growth from special events with the view to develop a new Special event within the portfolio.
• Ensure that appropriate and compliant risk assessment, health and safety procedures, protocols and policies are implemented for all special events.

Key responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Operations Coordinator Manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• To participate in internal/external meetings as required, attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• To participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal, and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
• To ensure that all The Passage policies and procedures are being adhered to, particularly those relating to Code of Practice and Confidentiality.
• To contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Diversity and Equality Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.

The International Growth Centre (IGC) works with policymakers in developing countries to promote inclusive and sustainable growth through pathbreaking research. We generate new evidence and innovative new ideas to improve the productivity of people and firms, as the key driver of sustainable economic development, and to support our government partners in transitioning to low-carbon growth pathways and protecting vulnerable populations. The IGC is a global research centre with a network of world-leading researchers and in-country teams and initiatives working across Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East. The Economics Editor will lead the IGC blog and play a central role in shaping high-profile publications that translate complex economic research into accessible, engaging content for global audiences and media. Working closely with researchers, economists and the Communications Manager (PR, Brand and Publications), they will craft, edit, and commission thought-provoking articles, manage freelance writers, and drive the blog’s evolution as a dynamic digital platform. With oversight by the Director of Science and Regulatory Affairs, you will support the collection, preparation, organisation, and use of the Science team’s key information resources which contribute to ensuring that our work and external communications are underpinned by accurate and robust evidence.

You will support the Science team in inputting to marketing and fundraising efforts as well the preparation of press releases and other forms of external communication. Your work will contribute to ensuring that the organisation’s advocacy, media and supporter communications are based on accurate, evidence-based science.

You will also work with the organisation’s press and media function to help maintain the quality of media coverage relating to animal testing and animal-free science. In collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners you will work to support research and contribute to the production of high-quality scientific material which can be used to advance the agenda to end all animal testing, including through the provision of the organisation’s digital education service.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the preparation, organisation, and maintenance of key Science team information resources which underpin our work and provide support for their use across the organisation. This includes responsibility for maintaining a well-organised central knowledge base to ensure our work is easily tracked, accessed and referenced.
• Support and input into research and contribute to the production of high-quality scientific material, including briefings, reports, presentations, posters, and summaries of the latest developments to support the Science team’s work. Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely press releases and support increased media coverage for our organisation.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of up-to-date briefings for internal and external use on emerging trends and latest developments in non-animal approaches, as well as helping to maintain the organisation’s specialist expertise in key regulatory toxicology topics.

The Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity supports the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales in providing world class care, helping to ensure the best outcome and experience possible for children and their families.

Scope of the role

Our mission as a charity is to create brighter todays and better tomorrow for the children and families of Noah’s Ark. The Sparkle Fund plays a vital role in the first part of that mission, creating brighter days for inpatient families by delivering our ‘over and above’ service on the wards. Due to the popularity and success of this project and following a very successful The Big Give campaign in December 2024, we are looking to expand the team.

There are many ways in which you will be providing joy, fun and moments of sparkle to the patients and families in the hospital. The role is very varied, and no two days are the same! In any given week you could be organising hospital wide activities for Easter, celebrating a birthday with a long-term patient, arranging for a massage therapist to provide a break for parents, and distributing essentials packs for a family arriving to hospital in an emergency.
