Role Requirements
You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team. Collaborating with the House Manager and Placement Managers, you will help ensure that care is effectively planned, resourced, and delivered safely at all times.
You will support the house manager to ensure that the care on house or houses enables the children to access their education and/or rehabilitation sessions, clinics, and leisure activities in their timetable.
You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a house manager, deputy house manager / deputy clinical lead and a clinical lead (per house) responsible for one or two houses within a rotational model. You will individually (not as a team) rotate at a house level on a twelve-monthly basis.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

About the role
We are recruiting a Project & Outreach Manager to help raise the profile and accessibility of NCT Walk & Talk across England supporting volunteers to leverage NCT’s existing local networks and encouraging take up in new areas.
Funded by Sport England, as part of an ambitious programme of change for NCT Walk & Talk, this post will be responsible for increasing the number of walks taking place and the number of new and expectant parents engaging with this service. The Opportunity

Building Partnerships
● Developing our Partnership Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to help us grow the network and reach our ambition of 100% of the population living within a 30-minute walk of a registered Warm Welcome Space. This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).
● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.
● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.
Engagement and Inclusion
● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.
● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.
● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.

Role Purpose
Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.
As Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for growing income from major donors and Trusts and Foundations through excellent donor stewardship. Leading a team of committed Trust fundraisers, you will focus on identifying prospective individual donors and foundations and develop lasting relationships with them. You will also support the management of relationships with existing donors, ensuring all donors have an excellent experience of supporting Winston’s Wish and understand the impact of their support on the lives of grieving children.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership
- To lead and inspire the Philanthropy team fostering a collaborative and high culture that delivers against income and objectives.

Philanthropy Fundraising

Location - This role covers the southern region of the UK - as this is a homebased role we welcome applicants from any part of the UK, however the expectation would be for you to attend meetings and events in your region and our offices.
As part of the Regional Leadership team, you will be key to making decisions about structures, strategies and processes that will drive Regional Fundraising to be at the heart of the organisation. You will manage three Regional Fundraising Managers and support the wider South team to deliver targets, recruit and retain supporters and raise awareness of our work in the local community.Although home based there are opportunities to attend events, offices, meet supporters and face to face meetings with peers and colleagues. No day is the same, but we promise that each day will be filled with driving the team to deliver incredible results and outstanding experiences for our supporters.
About you
You will have a deep understanding about Regional Fundraising and be able to use this to drive a team of regional relationship experts to deliver their targets. You will have the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and can showcase the impact and value Regional Fundraising has internally and across the sector. We are looking for a team player that will be influential and looking to excel at a Regional Leadership team level, and within their South Team! The successful candidate is someone who likes to think creatively and share ideas to continuously improve our ways of working. We are ambitious and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people affected by dementia, so we need an individual who will possess the ability to take goals and targets and make them a reality, making time sensitive decisions and solve problems. You will help us be the an
outstanding and successful team of ambassadors with the best networks, driven by your excellent communication and networking skills. We also want someone that take the initiative and make brave and bold decisions, and be able to then learn from the knowledge we get from the experience to build a better team! We need an effective people manager who is compassionate but determined to make a difference for all their team, supporters and people affected by dementia.
What you’ll focus on:
• Lead and manage a home-based team to deliver in year income and build a pipeline of future income to hit out 2030 projections
• Play an active role in the Regional Leadership team, challenging proposals, making decisions, leading by example and creating the right culture
• Work closely with the SRFMs in the North and Central to ensure we are maximising potential in all areas
