This role will provide proactive and efficient administrative and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, whilst observing the strictest confidence. Provide proactive and efficient administrative support at the Head Office. The Senior Leadership Team comprises the Chief Executive, Director of Care Services, Director of Finance and Operations, Director of Fundraising and Engagement and Director of HR & Volunteering. The role is responsible for a wide range of cross-organisational tasks and projects as directed and will be part of a job share arrangement, working 3 days per week. The post holder will live the Rainbow Trust Values and effectively communicate with all stakeholders, over the telephone, online, by email and face to face.

About the role:

This Best Companies Top 100 mid-sized company and Top 20 charity is looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to provide proactive and efficient administrative and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, whilst observing the strictest confidence. This is a part time job share role, working 3 days per week.

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for a wide range of cross-organisational tasks and projects, including leading on general operational issues at Head Office including franking machine, stationery orders, cleaning materials, managing and monitoring switchboard voicemail messages, sign-in sheets, shredding, parking etc. You will act as key point of contact for Trustees and a wide range of external contacts, maintaining a professional, confidential and responsive approach.

Having worked in an administrative support role, you will have exceptional organisational skills and will support the Senior Leadership with their day-to-day activities, including the monitoring the progress of their various projects and organising, as required, internal and external meetings for each SLT member including sector-wide meetings.

We’re on the lookout for a Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including direct dialogue, direct mail, digital and telephone, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.

In this role you’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. You’ll drive on campaigns across a broad range of channels, with the aim of recruiting new, and re-engaging, lapsed regular and cash supporters. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. Refuge Worker – Supporting Survivors of Domestic Abuse

The International Organization for Migration in the UK (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on protection, modern slavery and human trafficking, diaspora engagement, migration and development, and provision of immigration advice.

This position will support IOM’s work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, in coordination with the Programme Coordinator, and the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission of IOM UK. Working in close coordination with relevant country offices, units at our HQ in Geneva, Regional Office in Brussels and unit heads at the IOM London, the incumbent will assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of relevant migrant support projects managed by IOM London, in particular related to the voluntary return and reintegration of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK. The incumbent will also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

Responsabilities:

1. Support the implementation of an IOM project which is improving the capacities of UK support providers who assist survivors of modern slavery with voluntary return or repatriation to their countries of origin.
2. Assist with the implementation of the operational activities of the relevant projects, including the organisation of project events, project research, implementation of communications activities, and outreach to project stakeholders including government counterparts, diaspora, private sector, civil society and the UN.
3. Assist with the timely preparation and submission of all project donor reports (both narrative and financial).
4. Maintain close communication with the relevant IOM country offices (especially Albania, Brazil, China, India, Pakistan, Romania and Viet Nam) to collate and verify that data sent from the missions regarding the project is of high quality and in accordance with the donor’s requirements
5. Work closely with and support the development of partnerships between IOM and organisations working with survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK, as well as related organisations such as diaspora and community organisations.
6. Assist with IOM UK’s coordination with the UK Government and other UK based stakeholders in the field of migration and modern slavery.
7. Assist the IOM Team in the UK to expand its projects and partnerships in the field of migration, protection, and modern slavery and human trafficking,  including through project development support and research activities. 
8. Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring project documents and information are appropriately filed and processed within IOM internal systems.

Join the innovative Bolton Listening Lounge, providing adults in Bolton with mental health and wellbeing support. Working in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust and BAND/FAmily Action, the Bolton Listening Lounge is a collaborative approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support from late afternoon into the evening. It provides a safe space for people who are experiencing mental distress or who feel that they are going through a personal crisis. Our staff will offer low level calming interventions and one to one support to identify the cause of the emotional distress and to put in place a plan including signposting and referring on to other organisations and services.

The Role

The Supporter Experience Assistant is the first point of contact for supporters and administration tasks. Offering a high level of support, guidance, stewardship to supporters whilst implementing the operational delivery of all departmental transactional requirements related to the delivery of their fundraising and retail activities.

• Maintain files and documents, archiving duplication and unnecessary files, where appropriate.

• At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment

Housing and Service Delivery

• Provide strong and effective support to residents in Acorn House that focuses on their strengths and goals, and is delivered in a personalised way and within a framework of active engagement and co-production

Senior Events Executive, Global’s Make Some Noise

This is a rare opportunity for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years events experience looking to take the next step and expand their skills by working on a diverse range of events ranging from our high profile celebrity fronted gala Global’s Make Some Noise Night, to stewardship events at incredible venues including Downing Street and The House of Lords to breakfast events in Global’s Leicester Square office. In addition, you will have the chance to broaden your skills by volunteering at major events including Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball, and help shape new events led by presenters and committees.

It is a hugely exciting time to join, as events are set to play an instrumental role in helping the charity develop a new dynamic portfolio to engage new high value supporters. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future calendar and helping to meet our ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management and Supporter Stewardship (30%)

• To support the Senior Events Manager in ensuring that every event plan is delivered to the highest level

• Provide support on guest management, ensuring a smooth process for guests during the lead up to and on the day of the event.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, guests and stakeholders ensuring excellent stewardship and recognition through access to incredible Global Event and Podcast experiences.

Fundraising Auction/Prizes (35%)

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager to devise ambitious and engaging fundraising mechanics ranging from innovative Sponsorship. Opportunities, to show stopping Auctions to inspiring pledge moments

• Lead on securing auction prizes for relevant events, developing relationships with key supporters and external businesses to secure exclusive and desirable auction items, and lead the build for the online auction site.

• Manage the auction fulfilment process, ensuring all auction winners are thanked post event and that lots are fulfilled in a timely manner.

• Oversee online auction platform, ensuring accurate listings, engaging descriptions and looking for ways to maximise income.

• Support prize procurement across the team as required.

Event Adminstration and Processes (35%)

• To support the Senior Events Manager with financial management of each event, supporting on areas such as: budgeting, planning, controlling and monitoring expenditure as appropriate and managing income against targets, KPI’s and provide regular revised projections as required.

• To maintain good practice in the use of database system ensuring that information is recorded accurately to allow for excellent supporter care, stewardship and accurate analysis of event performance.

• To keep up to date with current competitor activity, potential new opportunities for events and improved ways of managing and developing events.

• To undertake any other tasks reasonably required.

• Worked closely with the Senior Events Manager to understand the events calendar and new strategy

• Assisted with planning our annual gala taking place in November 2025 aiming to raise £1million+

• Understood event project plans and key processes including guest management, finance processes and managing the events inbox

• Shared new ideas to help shape future sponsorship and fundraising mechanics

• Established a plan to lead Prize outreach and fulfilment for future fundraising events, being the main point of contact for 50+ prize contacts, organising their experiences using great project management and customer service skills.

• Built internal relationships with some of the charity’s most valuable stakeholders in Global, as well as valued and long-term external supporters and suppliers

• Utilised your new relationships to sell-out our charity allocation of VIP tickets to a range of Global events

• Designed brilliant assets for our events from engaging invitations to donation cards

• Supported the team in the lead up to our annual Make Some Noise appeal in October

What you’ll need 
 
The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following: 

• Background: Previous experience in a charity or events agency environment. An understanding of working within a charity’s Special Events Team is an advantage.

• Relationships: You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport, engage supporters and secure support from external stakeholders.

• Resilience: You’ll be a self-starter with great energy and stamina, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks with positivity and determination.

• Event Management: You’ll have a good understanding of event management processes and excellent attention to detail

• Fundraising proven success supporting on a range of fundraising mechanics used at events.  Experience working with the EMMA Auction platform will be helpful.

• Finance: Proven experience of managing finance processes and invoices with suppliers and supporters

• Planning: You’ll be highly organised, with demonstrable experience of working under pressure, often to tight deadlines. 

• Creativity: You’ll be a creative, innovative thinker with eye on trends to help identify incredible auction prizes, invitations and future event ideas

This role involves developing and implementing fundraising strategies to generate financial support, build relationships with potential donors, organise fundraising events and maintain donor relationships to secure and retain funding for the Lingfield Foundation.

You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of enquirers and supporters, assisting with the implementation of a regular giving strategy and supporting donor communications and retention.  Day to day task will include ensuring accurate records on the Development database, supporting the work of Alumni with a range of events and promoting the work of the Development Office with the use of social media.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively nurture relationships with a range of external contacts.   

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised, has proven ICT skills ideally with some knowledge of CRM systems, and is willing to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work.  Previous experience of working in fundraising ideally within the education or charity sector would be an advantage.

We are looking for a First Contact Navigator to support the smooth delivery of our support services for survivors by ensuring all referrals received by CRCC are managed sensitively and efficiently. The Navigator will act as the first point of contact for survivors and referrers alike and play a key role in ensuring those accessing support are able to do so in a way that is safe and meets their individual needs.

The Navigator will support survivors and/or their parents and carers through an initial risk and needs-led assessment process, ensuring the organisation has a good awareness of their circumstances. They will demonstrate a high level of empathy and care, offering initial support, information and advice to survivors and meeting any immediate needs prior to allocating individuals for ongoing support.

This post is part of a countywide ISVA team providing a pro-active service to children, young people and adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse, within and outside of the Criminal Justice System.
