The role
The Digital Communications Officer will own and manage our social media presence, plan and deliver content across digital platforms, and drive public engagement with our brand and strategic objectives.

Changing Faces is seeking a motivated Health Professional Engagement Officer to join our Services Team. This exciting part-time role takes the lead in our professional liaison work to educate health and social care professionals regarding the impact of visible difference and raising their awareness of the important work of the charity.
Main purpose of the role
The main purpose is to develop and maintain relationships with HCPs to:
- increase awareness of the impact of visible difference and educate them in how to effectively support patients
- ensure understanding of the Changing Faces service offers and how to access these

Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for everyone who has a mark, scar or condition that makes them look different (a visible difference). Being different in a society where there is such pressure to look a certain way is extremely difficult.
People with visible differences are vulnerable to isolation, loneliness, social anxiety and low self-esteem. They face staring, unwanted attention and even bullying and hate crime. They experience lowered expectations in education, problems getting work and stereotyping in the media. This can have a devastating, and lasting, impact on their wellbeing. - An senior fundraiser with a demonstrable background in high value fundraising across major donor, trusts, family foundations and corporate partners.
- An individual with strong knowledge and understanding of the UK fundraising landscape, with the ability to identify new opportunities whilst deepening the engagement of existing supporters.
- A skilled people manager, able to effectively lead and small and developing team whilst also reporting to the board and collaborating closely with international peers and offices.
- Someone with the ability to straddle strategic and operational duties as needed, remaining close to donors/partners and effectively establishing and developing funder relationships.

The Charity provide "Expert end of life care, whatever the illness" - not only do they provide outstanding care but they are also raise public awareness of improving end of life care within the UK.
The role
As Community Fundraiser you will build and develop fundraising relationships in the community, by providing excellent stewardship and support to Fundraising Groups and volunteers, in order to increase income and deliver the agreed Community Fundraising strategy.
You will work across the region to both identify, research and form new fundraising groups in the community by organising community days and meeting potential volunteers face to face. You will also create and deliver an annual volunteer recruitment plan to grow numbers of volunteers in dedicated roles.
About You
As a Community Fundraiser you will be an incredible relationship builder with good communication skills. Although it is desirable you will have had some experience in the Charity sector, we are also open to people with transferable skills who would love to start a career in fundraising. Working towards targets is also desirable.
This role is remote with travel across Staffordshire, Shropshire and the Black Country. Please note that you must be a car driver with access to a car. The closing date is the 18th May. The Strategic and Commercial Partnerships Senior Officer will support one of Start Network’s most exciting new areas of work. This role will be part of a new team, created in 2025, to scope, engage and manage relationships with strategic partners across the humanitarian ecosystem and beyond that will bring non-monetary added value in pursuit of our mission and vision for a locally led and proactive humanitarian system. Our ambition is to leverage partnerships to maximise the impact of our work, enhance our ability to influence system change, improve operational effectiveness and engage in the exchange of knowledge around our innovation ambition. The team will focus on strategic partnerships in areas such as – but not limited to- system change, innovation, disaster risk finance, humanitarian insurance, digital transformation, AI, and capacity strengthening. The team will also explore the value offer and commercialisation potential behind specific initiatives and services.

Our purpose is to create space where mental health comes first. We do this through working in partnership with other agencies and providing services in a trauma-informed way. The Mental Health Link Worker works collaboratively with Manchester City Council’s Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Services to ensure that people are better able to access appropriate support services for their mental health.
The Link Worker will join an existing worker to build collaborative and kind relationships where people feel heard and understood, enabling people to access services and navigate routes to support. They will provide community advocacy, deliver emotional support, make onward referrals and will communicate with community, primary and secondary health care. They will also work to support people to have their practical needs met around income, food and housing, seeking to reduce the impact these issues have on immediate mental health.
Position: Mental Health Link Worker
Salary: £16,539 (pro rata to £27,565)
Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months (possible extension dependent on funding)
Hours: 21 hours per week – days and hours flexible and to be agreed
The skills and knowledge that are important to us are:
· Ability to create a sense of belonging through development of kind relationships that lead to people feeling accepted and heard.
· Ability to work in a strengths-based way that recognises the potential for people to develop and enable resilience.
· Knowledge about various ways to provide emotional and therapeutic support for people.
· Experience of working in a psycho-social way with people experiencing mental health problems.
