The Role
We are seeking an Airplay Programme Manager to lead the Airplay Central Team and take overall operational responsibility for delivering and monitoring the Airplay programme.

What you will be doing

This is a strategic and creative role at the heart of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s national fundraising and engagement efforts. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of national community and challenge event programmes across all four UK regions (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to lead on the delivery of high-quality services to the women and their children living in our refuges and survivors of domestic abuse supported by our community outreach service.

We are recruiting for Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.  This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.

Our service provision in Derby includes culturally specific service for South Asian women as well as a specialist multiple disadvantage support worker who support survivors facing enhanced needs.

The post holder will provide line management and support to the accommodation based and the outreach service staff. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. You will also ensure that all service users in refuges and the outreach service always receive a high-quality support service in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures.

The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.

Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting.  In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.  

You will have knowledge of relevant criminal and civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.   

As member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call management service.

The service manager will be responsible for ensuring that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, this includes ensuring that the services operate within the allocated budget and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained. Over The Wall Camp Children’s Charity has been providing transformational residential camps for seriously ill children and their families for 25 years, propelling forward the vision of the charity’s founder, Hollywood actor Paul Newman. · Develop our long-term trusts and foundations strategy and agree ongoing budgets and targets for this income stream.

· Maintain accurate records including tracking and analysing opportunities, results, and outcomes.

 

Fundraising 

· Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential to deliver five- and six-figure grants.

.         Oversee the Trusts Team in delivering to develop and deliver persuasive and timely funding applications.

· Develop relationships with staff members and other key stakeholders across the charity maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development.

· Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view Kids Cancers Charity’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.

Reporting

· Compile comprehensive and compelling progress reports to feed back to grant makers in a timely fashion and incentivise continued support.

· Alongside the General Manager prepare accurate budgets detailing spending of specific grants.

· Draw down on any multi-year grants as outlined in our annual budget.

· Provide briefing notes and income pipeline on donor activities and potential funding opportunities.

As Trusts and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting and managing a sustainable pipeline of opportunities within relevant Trusts and Foundations and grant-makers. You will lead the development and authoring of Youth Sport Trust bids and proposals to Trusts and Foundations, Lottery, Government (national and local) and other funding Invitations to Tender/Requests for Proposals. You will also steward relationships with current and new potential funders in order to identify and maximise future opportunities and manage a donor reporting schedule, working in partnership with Programme Managers to ensure that all donors receive high quality and timely reports. 

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Proven experience of successful bid writing from a range of sources, including Trusts and Foundations, government, National Lottery Community Fund or other relevant grant-makers.
• Experience in supporter, partner, or donor engagement and relationship management, with the ability to build lasting partnerships.
• Strong understanding of fundraising strategies, trends in charitable giving, and approaches to measuring and communicating impact.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce concise, compelling, and well-structured proposals and cases for support.

The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week). Please note you will need to be based in East London or Essex for this role.
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.
   

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.
   

• Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.
   

• Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.
   

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.
   

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

About the opportunity

The Training Officer will have a range of administrative responsibilities relating to Action Tutoring’s tutor training delivery and curriculum resources.

As Training Officer, you will support the Training Team by scheduling sessions in digital systems, organising and checking ID and DBS documents submitted by volunteer tutors, and responding to enquiries to support a smooth tutor journey. The role does not involve delivering training to volunteers

You will also support with managing the version history and corrections of our bespoke tutoring curriculum resources, helping keep our online library of materials accurate and up to date.
