As ISWAN’s Head of Helpline Services, you will be responsible for the strategic development, account management and evaluation of all ISWAN helpline services.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer (Acquisition) to join our collaborative Individual Giving team.

Friends of the Earth International (FoEI) is the world’s largest grassroots environmental federation with more than 70 autonomous member groups around the world. FoEI aims to ensure that the struggles and experiences of local communities – especially those most affected by unsustainable development – are brought to bear on policies and practices at national and international levels. We focus on climate justice and energy, forests and biodiversity, food sovereignty, economic justice, gender justice and environmental human rights defenders. FoEI’s decentralised and democratic structure allows all member groups to participate in decision-making. We are governed by our member groups who come together every two years to vote on issues facing the federation. A small International Secretariat (IS) in Amsterdam and a team of global staff support the member groups, campaigns, programs, and other activities of the federation through fundraising, campaign coordination, trainings, communications, and information management.
FoEI is seeking an International Fundraising Officer (80% FTE – 30 hours per week) to join our small fundraising team. The fundraising team is part of the International Secretariat and works collaboratively with staff and member groups across the globe to raise over €2.5 million annually. This position reports to FoEI's International Fundraising Coordinator (based in Amsterdam) and can be based in any country where FoEI has a member group, including at the International Secretariat office in Amsterdam.
FoEI’s fundraising approach aligns with its mission and values, which means that FoEI does not accept donations from corporations. In 2026, FoEI’s funding will come primarily from private foundations, the EU, and membership fees. Within the context of a challenging funding landscape, particularly cuts to development aid budgets, over the coming years our aim is to continue diversifying funding streams and substantially increase support from private foundations and other donors. This will provide long-term stability for the federation and enable its programs and regions to rise to the challenge posed by the multiple systemic crises we face.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the fundraising team, the International Fundraising Officer will implement a comprehensive and strategic fundraising plan aligned with FoEI's mission and vision, in collaboration with the International Coordinator, other secretariat staff, Executive Committee (board), International Program Coordinators and Regional Facilitators. Key responsibilities include:
· Prospect research:
• Research, identify and monitor prospective funding opportunities and keep donor records up-to-date.
• Regular sharing of funding opportunities with member groups.
· Fundraising materials, grant proposals and reports:
• Position FoEI to anticipate and respond to prospective funding opportunities
• Lead in the development of fundraising materials, including case studies, concept notes, proposals and reports – collaboratively with FoEI teams, member groups, regional structures, and allies.
• Work with proposal teams to craft strong results frameworks and/or impact narratives and indicators to enable high quality and efficient reporting across projects.
· Donor Relationship Management
• Develop bespoke cultivation plans for key donors.

· Other tasks

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• At least 3-5 years of proven experience working across the full life cycle of fundraising from prospecting, proposal development, donor relationship management, grant management and reporting.
• Proven track record successfully raising six-figure+ grants from philanthropic foundations and donors, particularly in the US, UK and Europe.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to process large amounts of information quickly and succinctly.
• Ability to work within and navigate a complex and decentralised environment with different cultures, languages and skill-sets.
• Ability to work with and support numerous projects and teams concurrently, working both independently and as part of globally distributed teams.
• Experience working on environmental and social justice issues and a strong affinity with FoEI's vision, mission, and values.
• English fluency, both spoken and written; working knowledge of Spanish or French would be a plus.
DESIRED
• Direct experience participating in coalition-based proposal development and collaborative fundraising processes with NGO networks and social movements.

WHAT FoEI OFFERS

About the team
Trusts and Foundations (T&F) is part of a High Value Partnerships team that sits within an Income Generation Directorate raising £30 million to support Shelter’s work. About £3 million of that is raised by the Trusts team. T&F is currently a team of nine: eight fundraisers – two in Scotland, one in Bristol and the rest in London, plus a Grant Manager supporting role. Half of the England-based team focus more on new business, while the other half manage and maximise our ongoing relationships.
About the roles
You’ll help delivery our strategy by generating income from mid to high level trusts and foundations. Raising money for our core day-to-day activities, as well as for new projects, you’ll bring our income generation goals to life. You’ll work alongside a Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager and manage a personal portfolio of funders and projects, and you’ll be fully supported by an experienced fundraising team and senior managers in front line services.
The fixed-term role includes line management responsibility for the Trusts Executive, and is focused on maximising existing funder relationships. The permanent role has no line reports and is more focused on securing income from cold and new funders.

About the role
Our dedicated team moderates our full-service accounts (all organic content and paid ads) as well as one-off campaigns and appeals for some of the most recognisable charities in the sector.
This role is perfect for skilled comms experts who can provide excellent supporter care and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9 am (or earlier), wrap up by 9 pm and adhere to our sub-three-hour response time.
Our moderators must have a minimum of three years’ in-house, third-sector comms experience.
As a Social Media Moderator, you would be responsible for:

Our moderation takes place between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday-Sunday.
Different accounts will require varying levels of ‘active’ hours (defined as time spent taking action). You will split your active hours between 9am and 9pm. For example, for an account which requires three active hours, you might carry out your work in six, thirty minute instalments throughout the shift.
As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked.
Whilst you need to be on hand to monitor your accounts during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' professional comms experience, working with a large charity with an active social media following. They will understand the importance of building positive engagement and relationships with the public and be committed to act in the best interests of our charity partners.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Manager to lead the development and delivery of BNG projects across the Woodland Trust estate, including identifying and managing on-site opportunities and habitat banks.
The Role:
- Build and manage relationships with local authorities, partners, and internal teams to unlock BNG opportunities aligned with our Create and Restore goals.

We need another member of the accounts team who can dedicate the time to fortify our accounts team and help with operational processes, and with organisational development.
Role Overview: This is a hands-on systems development role that combines operational financial administration with organisational development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the existing bookkeeper to further bring order and clarity to SMN's financial processes while building a coherent framework within its new Chart of Accounts, that can accommodate the organisation's growing interconnected projects.
The role focuses on improvements such as new invoicing processes, streamlining payment workflows, and resolving banking issues - while helping to develop the systems and structures needed for long-term financial clarity and governance compliance.
This is a mid-level position that blends practical work with systems thinking, requiring someone who can work at both levels to support SMN's diverse activities across webinars, conferences, membership services, and multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Practical priorities
- Help new weekly payables cycle, working closely with Bookkeeper and Director with financial oversight
- Organise invoices from various projects, determining their place in the overall financial structure
- Initiate payments via CAF, PayPal, and other systems,

Working closely with colleagues across the charity, your responsibilities will include supporting our Resources Manager to ensure that our operational teams have access to all the learning resources they need, providing administrative support to our operational and volunteer management teams, and helping to keep our internal systems up to date.
It is essential that you have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, good communication abilities, and a proactive attitude towards assisting with diverse administrative tasks. You must be IT literate, with a good working knowledge of the commonly used Microsoft business tools, and be able to work independently. Underpinning this will be the ability to build relationships, and personal qualities that include persistence, determination and a problem-solving approach. About The Role
The Programme Manager will form part of our European programme team, working closely with our functional leads to deliver impactful strategies that target emissions reductions from heavy emitting industries in the EU. This role will focus mainly on the issue of Chemicals Decarbonisation - where experience is preferable but not required - and take the lead on delivering EU-targeted activities and outputs.
