We're looking for a Digital Communications Fundraiser who will play a pivotal role in shaping how supporters connect with the hospice's work and help secure its future for the next generation of patients and families.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexibility
Location: Wakefield Hospice, with the opportunity to work from home

About the Role
This is a brilliant opportunity to take the lead on designing and optimising digital supporter journeys that build lasting relationships and inspire giving. You'll use insight, data, and automation to:
- Build segmented, multi-channel supporter journeys that boost retention, increase lifetime value and enhance the donor experience.
- Identify key moments for personalised communication and ensure each touchpoint reflects the values and voice of Wakefield Hospice.
- Work closely with the fundraising and marketing teams to align campaign messaging and deliver strategic, story-led engagement.
- Analyse supporter behaviour and journey performance to constantly refine, test and optimise.
About You
You'll bring experience of developing insight-led supporter or customer journeys across digital channels. You'll be someone who naturally seeks to understand behaviour and motivations, and you'll be confident using CRM and digital tools to build automated journeys that feel anything but robotic.
A strong communicator, you'll have the ability to translate data into compelling, meaningful content strategies that deepen supporter loyalty and emotional connection. This role would suit a data-savvy communications professional who is as passionate about personalisation as they are about making a difference.

Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Specialist (Girls and Gangs)
This is a new role focusing on working with girls who are at risk of entering the Criminal Justice System through their associations and links to Urban Street Gangs in Leeds. The Postholder will work on a 1:1 and group basis with girls in Leeds who have been identified by schools and partner agencies as needing additional input. Groups will take place in schools and in the community. The role will carry on essential partnership working across the sector to help improve responses to girls who are at risk. You will work with the purpose of providing appropriate emotional and practical support to young people experiencing sexual exploitation. Working within a harm reduction ethos, you will be supporting young people to effectively safeguard them and reduce the risk of further exploitation, providing intensive 1-2-1 work and group work within a multi-agency approach. You will ensure that young people are at the heart of our work to empower and effectively protect them.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two key individuals to join the team at Basis Yorkshire as a Sexual Exploitation Specialist (16+). You will be providing bespoke trauma informed 1-1 and group work for women who have experienced, or who are experiencing sexual exploitation.
This role provides trauma informed support to girls and women who are at risk of or experiencing sexual exploitation. Working as part of an Adult Sexual Exploitation Partnership Project, you will be supporting girls and women aged 16+ using a theory of change which includes engaging through assertive outreach, helping to overcome trauma and complex emotions, empowering to build positive social networks and building on strengths through exploring their options. You will also be responsible for facilitating a weekly drop in session for women who have experienced Sexual Violence alongside another member of the Basis team. You will support girls and women to access the Criminal Justice System should they wish to do so, enabling them to stay safe and bringing perpetrators to justice. Wakefield is a new Service Delivery area for Basis Yorkshire and as part of this role you will work with the Service Delivery Manager and other Basis staff to establish strong working partnerships with key services in the area including, Children’s Services, Police and Adult Social Care.
