What the job involves

We’re looking for someone to join our in-house Film and Photography team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of video projects, working with a friendly, supportive, and talented creative team.

You’ll focus on editing a wide range of content, from event promotions and social media clips to documentaries and campaign films. Beyond editing, you'll also be an integral part of our shoots, helping with everything from monitoring camera feeds to assisting with basic production duties and managing equipment. You'll also play a crucial role in keeping our team's processes and systems running smoothly, including assisting with administration and managing our Digital Asset Library.

You'll have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to bring incredible stories to life, so strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Video Content Editor who is confident using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video content and have experience in colour grading and audio restoration. You’ll have a good understanding of creating content for different channels, especially social media formats, and be organised, reliable, and happy to pitch in across editing, shoots, and administrative tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation are essential, as is a good eye for detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines. Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a small, busy creative team are also key, as is being a self-starter who's happy to take initiative and hit the ground running.

It would be great if you also have experience shooting film and/or photography, particularly at small events, knowledge of social media video formats and optimisation, and basic motion graphics or animation skills using Adobe After Effects.

JUSTICE is looking to recruit an interim Trust and Foundation Fundraiser to join our friendly, values-led team. This is a fixed term post for 15 months (maternity cover) and provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of raising income from trusts and foundations. 

We are looking for an individual who has an interest in the purpose of the charity (to improve the UK justice system so that it is fair and within everyone’s reach), as well as a keen interest in taking responsibility for raising income from new and existing trusts and foundations and stewarding grants. This is an exciting time to join JUSTICE as we focus on a period of growth, looking to expand our reach out of London and internationally.  This role will really suit someone who enjoys identifying and then building relationships with funders, has great writing skills, has experience of securing five to six figure grants, is comfortable with a degree of autonomy and who thrives in this competitive fundraising environment. 

Around one-third of JUSTICE’s £1.5 million income currently comes from grants, with active partnerships including major funders. Sustaining and growing this income will require proactive research, strategic outreach, and a highly organised, detail-focused approach to both applications and stewardship. 

This role sits within an enthusiastic and supportive Development Team. The role works closely with the Director of Development and Policy Team, who are committed to leveraging their time and networks to support fundraising success, to put together engaging applications and grant reports. The post-holder will also collaborate with other fundraising colleagues, while enjoying a high level of autonomy in contributing to the long-term direction of JUSTICE’s Strategy.

JUSTICE is a law reform and human rights organisation, working to improve processes and policies to support everyone, particularly marginalised groups, be able to seek justice or a remedy when their rights have been breached or the law has been broken. We also seek to improve the justice system as a whole, ensuring that laws are clear and consistent and that the government and other key decisionmakers are held to account.

We are a founding member of The Justice Hub, which is situated next to St Paul’s Cathedral. in London. We also have staff based in other locations including in Manchester, Sheffield and Edinburgh. Job Title: Online Engagement and Inclusion Lead (Young People’s Services)

Purpose

This role leads the coordination of Kids’ online engagement and digital inclusion work for young people with SEND, including information provision, participation, and wellbeing support. You will deliver a two-year Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme, including identifying and engaging digitally excluded young people to help them access vital digital tools and services. The role also drives collaboration across the Digital Services Consortium (a collaboration of 12 children’s charities), embedding shared learning, outcome measurement, and inclusive digital practices across Kids, and will create new capacity to work with young people to scope and deploy online campaigning activity.  

Responsibilities

• To lead and coordinate Kids’ online engagement and inclusion work for young people with SEND. This includes Kids’ online information provision; voice/ participation and wellbeing work.
• To develop and deliver Kids’ two-year digital inclusion programme, Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme* to ensure reach and impact is maximised.
• To work with the Digital Services Consortium Driving Digital Inclusion members on shared digital project outcome measures and community of practice, ensuring learnings and online engagement and digital inclusion principles are captured, shared and built into the organisation.
• To identify and recruit (working closely with colleagues from services across Kids) digitally excluded young people to the digital inclusion programme so they can become digitally included and access much needed support and guidance.

Together, we’ll co-create new online content and resources that truly reflect their voices and experiences. 

 What the Programme Offers:

• A series of interactive webinars and guided online activities. 

• Free devices and data to improve access to those who need it most, plus the support to ensure everyone can participate.

We will reach over 1,800 young people over the two year funded period.

The ideal candidate will be able to present financial information clearly, work with accuracy and consistency, balance multiple deadlines, and have a proactive, self-motivating, and collaborative approach. We are looking for an Advocacy Director (temporary position to cover maternity leave) to join our team.  The Director of Advocacy plays a key role in influencing UK government decision-making around preventing and responding to hunger and nutrition crises globally. This senior leadership position will be responsible for shaping and driving an impactful advocacy agenda that aligns with Action Against Hunger’s mission to respond effectively to humanitarian crises worldwide and to detect, prevent and treat child undernutrition. Additionally, the role will position the charity as a trusted partner and reliable recipient of UK government humanitarian grants.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in both advocacy on humanitarian crises and related subjects, and a good understanding of UK ODA funding mechanisms. About the Role
As Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Tommy’s financial sustainability and long-term success. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead and develop a high-performing finance team, oversee strategic financial planning and reporting, and drive forward a programme of finance transformation.
This is a hands-on yet strategic role, offering the chance to shape financial systems and processes, strengthen financial literacy across the organisation, and ensure robust compliance and control. You’ll be a trusted partner to the leadership team, providing insight and challenge to help Tommy’s deliver its ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring strong financial stewardship and organisational accountability.
• Deliver accurate and timely management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and statutory reporting.
• Oversee financial controls, operations, audit, and compliance, ensuring best practice in charity accounting, taxation, and investment management.
• Partner with leaders across the organisation, building financial capability and supporting effective decision-making.
• Drive the transformation of finance systems and processes, including the implementation of a new finance system.

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of finance operations, governance, and compliance, ideally within the charity sector.

About the role:

Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. With increased investment in income generation starting in 2025, we are expanding our team to drive the growth necessary to achieve our organisational goals. Our fundraising team bridges the journey of the animals in our care with the wider public, demonstrating how their contributions enable us to support every dog and cat. We now have several new roles within this team to further our mission.

Main purpose of the role:

This is a new role working within Battersea’s Income Generation department to develop and deliver the campaign plan for a £4-6million pound capital fundraising appeal.

One of the key pillars of Battersea’s current strategy is to ensure that we continue to provide expert care for all the dogs and cats that come through our gates. One of the ways in which we do this is by investing in our facilities to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the animals we care for. This fundraising campaign will help to achieve that aim.

You will work with teams across Battersea to develop a comprehensive plan for the campaign and co-ordinate the work of multiple specialist teams to deliver the campaign on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for developing a clear governance structure for the campaign, and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress. You will also oversee and track progress of a series of internal process improvements that support the running of the campaign.

Please note, this is not a direct fundraising position, but will support our fundraising teams in delivering ambitious financial targets for the appeal.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Finance will take responsibility for day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and strategic financial support to Huddersfield Town Foundation staff and its Board of Trustees. About the role

The Lab is now working with Demos, a leading cross-party think tank and the Lloyds Bank Foundation on a collaborative project to celebrate community-led change across the country. The project will seek: (1) to connect an array of brilliant organisations creating new forms of public services and (2) write a narrative that puts this community-led innovation at the centre of broader efforts at rethinking how the state delivers for its citizens. The project will work with leaders across civil society, academia and the highest levels of politics to demonstrate the potential for community-led change to generate national renewal.

We are seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Project Network Coordinator. They will report to the Director of the UCL Policy Lab and work closely with the team. The post is fixed term for the duration of nine months either full or part time with the possibility to be extended.

The post holder will be expected to work both at UCL but also on ad hoc occasions from the offices of our partner organisation, Demos.

The salary for this role is between £36,433 and £39,807 per anum dependent on experience and includes the London Allowance.

About you

The UCL Policy Lab wishes to appoint a Project Network Coordinator to help draw together representatives of a vast array of community-based organisations currently innovating in public service reform. The Coordinator will support the project team to develop a core coalition to drive forward the work. The individual will work closely with both the UCL Policy Lab team, Demos and other project partners in the oversight and delivery of events that bring these organisations together so that they can share their experiences and expertise. The individual will also help oversee and coordinate the programme of high-level private workshops exploring the policy implications of these organisations' activities, providing extensive service support to attendees as well as supporting the project to build up a wide network of key stakeholders.

The individual will be crucial to designing and delivering a high-quality experience for the participants as well as ensuring that the dialogue builds overtime and its richness is fully captured and shared with senior stakeholders. The individual will also run the sessions and assist the Lab with both research and administrative support in the run up to the events.

The post holder will report directly to the Lab's Director but also work closely with the Policy Lab team.

The post holder must be able to work flexibly, independently and proactively.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work with Lab leadership to recruit members for a new network of community-led public service innovators from across the UK
• Support Lab and Demos leaders engagement with senior stakeholders in the national government and the opposition, as well as the local movement, to help share findings and drive political impact.
• Build relationships with the key individuals in this sector to understand their contributions and concerns and be able to share them with others
• Assist with the delivery of engaging collaborative workshops for members of this network and the project team.
• Conduct interviews with network members and draft policy briefs and memos for circulation to the broader network and the policy team.
• Track and report impact from the network for internal purposes, marketing and various evaluation processes (e.g., writing website content, newsletters and contributing to final reports)
• Work with the UCL Policy Lab team to help deliver operational support for the activities of the project, including: contributing to shared infrastructure and tools; working with the Communications and Engagement manager to deliver wider impact; working with the Team to co-ordinate delivering of world class policy events, including our party conference programme.
• Manage a front of house team at events including PhD students or equivalent on short term placements.
• Follow and promote UCL policies, including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and maintain an awareness and observation of fire and health and safety regulations.
