• Coordinate event logistics, including site visits, accommodation, and travel arrangements, and provide onsite event support.

We are looking for someone with experience working in event or awards, or at least a strong interest in this area. You should have some experience in social media management and email marketing campaigns, with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in IT, including MS Office, and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively is essential.

It is not essential for the candidate to possess prior knowledge of the sector, but they will have the right level of knowledge and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and use their transferable skills to succeed in this role.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative fundraiser to support activity across community and events fundraising. The role will focus on providing exceptional stewardship for our calendar of community and events fundraising. You’ll build relationships with supporters and deliver impactful events as well as grow our income through individual giving. 

About Us

The Brompton Fountain is the children’s charity at Royal Brompton Hospital - a world leading specialist centre for complex heart and lung disease. We work in partnership with the teams on the wards, paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and in outpatient clinics. Our charity provides support and resources for patients, families and staff, as well as funding lifesaving medical equipment, accommodation - so that parents can stay close to their child during an admission, toys and entertainment for the playroom and improvements to the facilities to create the best possible environment for families to promote their wellbeing during what can often be a very challenging time. In collaboration with the hospital trust and the NHS we also fund research projects and develop new initiatives for babies, children and young people with heart and lung conditions. 

About You

Main Duties and Responsilbilties 

Community and Events Fundraising

• Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, including challenge events and community initiatives.

• Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities.

• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and build strong relationships for future collaboration.

• Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partners, such as (small) businesses, schools, and clubs, promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.

• Lead on generating income through supermarket schemes. • To represent the charity when required in schools, engagement events and cheque presentations. 

Individual Giving

• Manage the regular giving programme by implementing a rolling 12-month plan of meaningful touchpoints to deepen relationships.

• Develop and implement a plan to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors with personalised cultivation and stewardship.

• Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (giving at lower to mid-level) by prompt thanking, excellent stewardship and building effective donor journeys.

Supporter Care

• Serve as the primary point of contact for community and events fundraisers, delivering outstanding stewardship ensuring they receive the information and support needed to maximise their fundraising potential while maintaining the highest standards of stewardship and being respectful of potential sensitivities particularly when working with families who are fundraising in memory.

• Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.

• Maintain our CRM database ensuring accurate records to track communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws. 

Administrative and Financial Support

• Process cash and cheque donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately on our database.

• Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets.

• Overseeing our online shop.

Marketing and Communication

• Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc), social media content and e-newsletters to inspire participation in fundraising activities.

• Produce impact reports and collate information for the HOF to support fundraising initiatives and grant applications.

• Ensure fundraising and associated webpages are kept up to date. Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the wider team (when required) to support in-hospital and community events as well as assisting with tasks as needed to ensure smooth charity operations.

• Support the CEO and team members with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives.

• Any other duties as required by the Head of Fundraising.

Additional Information

Salary is £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE). The role covers 37.5 hours per week. Two days per week working in our charity office at Royal Brompton Hospital - London, and the remaining hours to be worked remotely. Occasional evening and weekend work subject to our events calendar. One-year fixed term contract with the potential to extend contract length subject to performance and funding.

We are seeking a Dementia Carers Support Officer who can make a positive difference to the lives of unpaid carers in the diverse communities of Redbridge. We are a Queen's Award winning charity with over 30 years experience of supporting unpaid carers in Redbridge. The post holder will focus on supporting carers of someone with dementia, by providing them with advice, information, referrals and access to peer social and learning activities.  The role requires an understanding of health and social care services, particularly in relation to support for unpaid carers and someone who can show compassion and understanding to carers in crises or facing complex challenges.  A key outcome is ensuring carers can live a healthy and fulfilling life alongside caring and not be at risk of acute isolation.

Main duties and responsibilities

Communications (30% of work)

• Write and publish short regular newsletters for GRP’s stakeholders, including portfolio donors, wealth adviser partners and donors to operating costs.
• Manage and publish weekly content for GRP’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Manage and curate content for GRP website, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and maximising opportunities to attract new donors and supporters.

SCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Press Officer to lead on its external and social media engagement strategy. 

You will lead SCI’s engagement with media outlets – including national papers, trade publications and broadcast – to increase our public profile, promote our work and build support for our campaign to accelerate the commercialisation of the UK’s science base.

About the role
ARC is a data-rich organisation, having made significant progress in our data analytics activities in recent years. Using the CRM Socialsuite , we have developed sophisticated project performance dashboards, which are critical in supporting both our delivery and reporting efforts. Our servers are soon to be hosted in MS Azure, and we are planning to maximise the use of this platform in the coming years.  We have also made considerable progress in evaluating and demonstrating the impact of our Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg projects. We have developed evaluation tools and theories of change to measure how our work improves the diets, health, and well-being of children, adults and families. 
As we launch our new five-year strategy, we are looking for a passionate Data and Insights Officer who is committed to social change, health equity and inclusion, and can coordinate and develop our data analysis initiatives, as well as provide research and analytical support for our research and evaluation work.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and the Impact & Evaluation Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the assessment and enhancement of the effectiveness of our projects as well as providing essential insights to support the strengthening of our fundraising and reporting efforts and project performance monitoring.
 
This role is pivotal in ensuring our strategies are data-driven, our outcomes are measurable, and our impact is effectively communicated to stakeholders, local authority funders, and the communities we serve.

We have developed evaluation tools and theories of change to measure how our work improves the diets, health, and well-being of children, adults and families. Additionally, we have commissioned economic impact assessments, offering valuable insights into the wider benefits of our approach.
As we launch our new five-year strategy, we are seeking a passionate Impact and Evaluation Manager to lead our research and evaluation initiatives. This role will play a key part in assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of our projects, strengthening our evaluations by exploring causal links to health outcomes and tracking long-term beneficiary impact beyond their time in the projects.
Working closely with the Head of Advocacy, Impact, and Communications, the Impact and Evaluation Manager will identify gaps in our evidence base, collect compelling data and stories, and help build a strong case for policy change. They will also develop academic partnerships, leveraging existing relationships to enable rigorous research that deepens our understanding of the impact of our work.

About The Role

The London Wetland Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join to the team.  This role will help drive visitation to London Wetland Centre, raise brand awareness and increase engagement across social media platforms.

The role will focus on creating engaging content, delivering PR, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver agreed marketing and communications activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Senior Visitor Marketing Manager to create multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive visitation to London Wetland Centre and enhance WWT brand awareness.
• Creating and delivering the centre’s PR activities, maximising local and regional media opportunities by developing excellent media contacts, creating engaging copy for editorial coverage, and supervising media site visits.
• Managing all social media channels and creating engaging content to, drive visitation, promote events, and engage visitors with our conservation work.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Some weekend working will be required (approximately 1 in every 4) as part of the Duty Management Rota.

About You

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and digitally-focused Marketing Officer.

The post holder should be educated to degree level, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience, ideally in a business or marketing related discipline.  They will also have demonstrable experience of digital marketing, social media management and media relations as this is essential to the role.

THE ROLE

The full-time Creative Communications and Events Officer works within the Communications team to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.

You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.

The role brings a diverse set of responsibilities and an opportunity to work within a charitable organisation with a strong sense of purpose.

Responsibilities

• You will design graphics across our organisation, from social media posts and placards to pamphlets to pledge cards
• Work with creative colleagues to conceive and implement a variety communications campaigns to raise awareness about antisemitism and educate the public, sometimes at short notice and with tight deadlines
• Provide logistical support for communications projects, including scouting and booking locations, ordering materials, liaising with third parties and conducting internal research
• Plan, script, shoot and edit videos on various topics for different audiences on our numerous social media channels
• Growing our social media presence, including paid campaigns, to maximise reach and engagement
• Play a significant role in podcast production, from researching and booking guests to audio and visual editing
• Strategically planning and executing key events for the organisation throughout the year, ensuring maximum impact
• Design merchandise for our website and oversee the logistical aspect of sales

Cancer Grand Challenges is a global funding initiative founded in 2020 by the two largest funders of cancer research in the world: Cancer Research UK and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in the US ().

Cancer Grand Challenges builds on the success of CRUK's Grand Challenge that launched in 2015 - to date we have committed in excess of c$400m to fund 16 interdisciplinary teams, and our portfolio now includes over 1200 researchers and collaborators across 16 countries. We recently launched our fifth call for applications to address seven new challenges, and we are thinking about what the next decade for the initiative will look like. In this varied role, you'll support the delivery of conferences, such as our Future Leaders Conference held annually in Europe, specifically aimed at early careers researchers to aid with networking and careers advice. You'll also support larger events such as CGC Sumit, our annual flagship event. This huge four-day event is used to review each of the funded teams' progress towards solving their challenge The main summit consists of 2.5 days of programming with team presentations, keynote speakers and expert panel discussions.
