We’re looking for a compassionate and strategic individual to join our Rail Team as the Regional Development Lead (RDL) for Scotland. This is a pivotal role, responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships across the rail industry and leading on local delivery of Samaritans’ suicide prevention activities within the region.
As RDL, you will work closely with industry partners such as Network Rail, train operating companies (TOCs), and the British Transport Police (BTP), to drive forward meaningful change and support those impacted by suicide. From developing Joint Suicide Prevention Plans (JSPPs) to representing Samaritans at regional meetings and organising post-incident support, your work will help save lives and support communities.

What you’ll do:
You’ll represent Samaritans Rail Programme at a regional and local level, attending regular suicide prevention meetings and providing guidance and support both within and external to the rail industry, focusing on industry specific priorities. Your role will be to:
- Act as a central point of contact for rail contacts, sharing information on national campaigns, internal communications, crisis signage, policy, and research.
- Manage regional suicide prevention activities, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
- Lead community activities and facilitate post-incident support, ensuring local applicability of national guidelines and strategies.
- Promote responsible and ethical language around suicide and foster a culture change within the rail industry.

We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic and articulate professional fundraiser to drive forward our emerging major donor programme. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess existing events and amend/develop a revised calendar of events annually that supports outreach, conversion and stewardship of HNW pool of supporters – whilst also ensuring profit is made on the event itself

Encouragement and support of HNW supporters to create their own activities to raise funds and/or broaden the network of Laureus donors

Provide first class stewardship to the International Council/Friends of Laureus group of HNW supporters whilst also exploring if other products or partnerships might offer attractive benefits to donors

Work with programme colleagues to create opportunities for programme visits open to key donors – either in the UK or internationally, whilst also extracting key programme asks for funding

Work with talent team colleagues to create engagement opportunities with Laureus Academy Members and Ambassadors that support HNW engagement and stewardship

Use sector knowledge and insight to keep on top of best practice around HNW donor engagement, cultivation and stewardship
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record of successful fundraising experience
- Experience of building long-term, trust-based relationships with HNWI
- Developed or contributed to HNW fundraising campaigns
- Strategic and result-driven approach to planning donor journeys and stewardship programmes
- Proficient in using donor databases (e.g. Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) for tracking contacts and income and data analytics/ prospect research
- Experience in organising bespoke donor and facilitating networking opportunities between donors and charity leadership or beneficiaries
- Skilled in writing tailored proposals, impact reports, and stewardship updates
- Ability to manage stakeholders relationships (trustees, directors, senior volunteers)

Plumstead Community Law Centre is a free specialist legal advice charity located in central Woolwich in South East London. The Role

About the Role
We're looking for a Therapy Manager to join the team. Leading a team of trauma-informed therapists while delivering trauma-informed therapeutic services. We are a dynamic service with a holistic service model, so the senior role is supporting wider than just direct delivery.
You'll play a key role in supporting clients, managing communications, supporting volunteers/placements. You will work closely with our community development team and criminal justice teams to ensure survivors have access to the right support. All staff have a thematic leadership area to expand the organisations knowledge in areas impacting male survivors and their loved ones.

You’ll be someone who is a qualified and experienced therapist working with trauma with a background of leading effective teams. We’re especially keen to hear from people with experience in working with men, sexual harms and supporting therapist and trainees, but we value transferable skills too. The Role

Main purpose of post
An Appeal Support Officer is required to support the activity associated with a
major appeal for the charity. The appeal will raise £1.85m enabling a step change
in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre.
Reporting to and working closely with our Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy
Manager, Appeal Consultant and Head of Fundraising, you will support the
coordination of appeal activity planning, as we undertake the public phase of the
appeal.
Supporting our established Appeal Board, you will coordinate communications,
prospecting and stewardship management of our major donor growth
programme and portfolio, as we build up both our private fundraising phase and
undertake our wider public fundraising activity.
You will help bring together a range of different public fundraising activities
planned for the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Support management of the appeal prospects portfolio, including research,
due diligence checks, profiles development and relationship management
plans.
Coordinate and manage the appeal plan, including all facets of both the
private and public fundraising phases, liaising with appointed agencies and
contractors.
Directly support the Appeal Board with communication, prospecting and
donor management planning, under the direct supervision and guidance of

Cancer Research UK is the most trusted provider of cancer information in the UK and you will be responsible for helping steer what we say and how we say it, ensuring our health information is evidence based, accessible and credible.
What will I be doing?
Developing a sound knowledge base of key research relevant to cancer risk, prevention, early diagnosis and screening
Taking the lead on appraising and critiquing evidence for specific topic areas, including contributing to team discussions and written summaries for these topics
Producing internal evidence summaries/briefings on topics related to cancer risk, prevention, screening and early diagnosis, as required

- Managing the overall governance calendar, and key governance documents and records.
- Working with the Directors of Strategy, Finance and HR on strategic and operational planning
- Providing diary management and other general administrative support to members of the LT where required.
This role acts an extension of the CEO’s office, ensuring alignment across leadership priorities, and effective and timely follow-through on strategic and operational initiatives.
The successful candidate will be experienced in providing executive and administrative support to leaders, ideally within a similar organisation or setting. They will demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic, and will have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with a broad range of colleagues and use tact, discretion, influence and diplomacy when required. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence and short papers as well as take minutes of meetings. The ability to demonstrate political acumen and experience of providing company secretary/governance-type support is also desirable.
