The Impact Manager is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Operations Team.
The main purpose of this role is to work across the organisation to unleash the power of data analysis and curiosity. The role will work with colleagues across different departments to understand their data, find insights and support the team to make data driven decisions and impact reporting. This role will be crucial in continuing Muscular Dystrophy UK’s (MDUK) transition to be a more data driven organisation, including:
- Identifying and developing appropriate instruments for data collection to ensure that accurate impact reporting can be developed for all activities
- Identifying appropriate statistical methodology for data analysis across various departments (quantitative and qualitative as required)
- Work across the organization with Heads of Departments and others to help to identify, understand and quantify the data collection needs

- Support the Head of Data in administration and integrity of the MDUK databases and data flows between various departments (across Dynamic, Smart Simple, others as required) and provide training and support to the users and to maintain data protocols and policies.

The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in deepening the connections between the school and our alumni and parent community to inspire financial support. Role Purpose

The Events and Communications Officer will work across the team to plan, produce and deliver a calendar of in-person and on-line events. About this role:
The main duties and responsibilities for the Heads of Development role are as follows:
INDIVIDUAL GIVING
· Maintain and build relationships with our donors, and identify new individuals who would like to see the Rodolfus Choral Foundation thrive
· Use our extensive alumni list to source and maintain donors
· Use contacts from the artistic director and trustees to generate new donors
· Ensure that our top and potential donors are well looked after and researched, passing on key information to the Artistic Director and, where appropriate, arranging meetings between him and our donors
· Organise and co-host special donor events in unique venues
· Plan and help organise membership events for donors
· Help establish a legacy giving scheme for Rodolfus

· Develop a five-year Fundraising Strategy
· Set ambitious but achievable targets for each year, within the overall Rodolfus budget

Job Summary
Supporting the Direct Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering growth in voluntary income through our direct marketing acquisition programme utilising a range of campaigns and products, both online and offline. Products include one-off donations, regular giving (including value-exchange/ sponsorship products) and lottery. You’ll also be responsible for the development, implementation, day to day management, evaluation, and delivery of our acquisition portfolio.
About You
- You will have experience of running effective national campaigns using a variety of fundraising channels
- Demonstrable, relevant experience including digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
- Knowledge of google analytics as well as an understanding of fundraising regulator guidance, gambling commission compliance and GDPR.
About the Role
- Manage the delivery of acquisition campaigns from concept through to evaluation, using data and insight to drive creative and production, drawing up schedules, and managing the approval processes.
- Work alongside the Content team to research and develop acquisition products, journeys and communications, gathering information, case studies and photos for use in all direct marketing campaigns.

Job purpose
The Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and developing Action for ME’s Healthcare Services with the Operations Director, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care for individuals affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). The postholder will be responsible for clinical oversight, service development, and leadership, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes for children and adults with ME and will be the CQC Registered Manager for the service.
At present, the Healthcare Services is a small team with two doctors (GPs) and two physios. Our counsellors are overseen by a Counselling Lead Supervisor and our multi-faith Chaplains are supported by our Lead Chaplain.
We are keen to develop and expand our services, building on the small amount of spot purchasing from local commissioning boards and exploring a diagnosing and prescribing offer. We are also keen to explore the potential of increasing the range of disciplines offered within the team. You will play a key role in driving the strategy for our Healthcare Services with the Director of Operations.
Key responsibilities

Person specification

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will monitor and map the criminal justice policy landscape, tracking developments across the system. They will engage with MPs, civil servants and key stakeholders, bringing evidence from our membership and the voices of those impacted directly by the criminal justice system to government to influence change.
The postholder will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have demonstrated evidence of impact in policy and public affairs. They should be confident in building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, be a collaborative and inspiring team player, show commitment to our values and share a passion for the CJA’s vision and mission.
Main responsibilities
Public Affairs (50% time)
- Develop and implement the CJA’s public affairs and influencing strategy to advance the CJA's objectives.
- Work with CJA members on influencing specific legislation, including campaigning around bills, writing amendments, and working with MPs and Peers to promote them within the legislative process.
- Stakeholder engagement (Parliament): Build and maintain relationships with key policy makers and parliamentarians through face-to-face meetings, providing briefings to MPs and Lords for Parliamentary debates, preparing written/oral questions, and attending Select Committees, APPGs, Parliamentary receptions and other relevant roundtables and events.
- Stakeholder engagement (other): Build and maintain relationships with other key stakeholders, including Police & Crime Commissioners, the Victims Commissioner, HM Inspectorates, civil servants, and other relevant bodies.
Policy and Research (40% time)
- Monitor policy and political debates and developments on criminal justice issues, horizon-scanning emerging policy issues, and where appropriate, disseminate and brief colleagues and CJA members.
- Maintain a repository of evidence briefings from CJA members.
- Identify proactive and reactive opportunities to promote and embed CJA and members recommendations and research.
- Produce high quality and influential policy briefs, reports, position papers, and responses to consultations, to advocate for changes in policy and practice put forward by CJA members.
- Lead on the monitoring of policy engagement and impact by using our evaluation tools and work with external evaluators as required to capture impact and utilise learning.
- Work with CJA members, people directly impacted by the justice system and other key stakeholders to harness and amplify their expertise and insights.
- Lead the co-ordination and establishment of member expert groups to inform our policy work.
- Develop opportunities for joint working with researchers / research organisations and manage that partnership work, including co-ordinating the CJA research symposium.
Other (10% time)
- Work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to respond to media and other communication opportunities to promote the CJA’s work and to contribute to national debate on criminal justice issues.
- Work with the CJA team to recommend and secure relevant speakers and presenters for CJA meetings and events.
- Support the Communications and Engagement Manager to develop content for the website and other internal and external communications, such as blogs and articles.
- Contribute to the general administration and delivery of CJA programmes, events and overall objectives.
- Work with the Director to support the development of potential fundraising bids and reporting progress to funders.
