The Royal Court Theatre has an exciting opportunity for someone to join People team as People and Governance Coordinator.
This role is central to the internal operations of the Royal Court, providing high-quality coordination and administration that underpins how we support our staff, deliver effective governance, and maintain a positive workplace culture. The postholder will oversee key HR procedures, systems and records (including recruitment and payroll support), coordinate trustee and board activity, and ensure clear and consistent internal communications across all teams.
Alongside this core administration, the role offers an opportunity to develop as a trusted People Partner for our Front of House and Catering teams, providing first-line guidance on people matters and gaining insight into the internal management of a leading cultural charity. Handling a high volume of correspondence, processes, and confidential information, the post requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion.
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment (not necessarily arts-specific).
- Have practical experience in HR and/or recruitment, ideally supporting onboarding, payroll processes and employee lifecycle documentation
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and the ability to tailor communications for different audiences.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, balancing competing priorities

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:
- Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.
- Drive new partnerships, membership sales, and sponsorship opportunities, with clear revenue targets, while maintaining strong long-term relationships with existing members.
- Identify and convert opportunities that enhance IWA’s profile and support membership growth.
This is a dynamic role for a confident, articulate account manager who thrives on building relationships. The successful candidate will combine strong customer service skills with proven B2B sales and account management experience, excellent time-management/organisation, cultural awareness and sensitivity when working across regions, and excellent communication abilities.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
- Act as the dedicated account manager for IWA’s portfolio of over 400 corporate and university members.
- Deliver expert advice, support, and engagement to maximise member value.
- Manage the end-to-end membership cycle (prospecting → onboarding → renewal), ensuring timely renewals and accurate CRM record-keeping.
Business Development
- Drive growth by identifying and securing new members, sponsors, and revenue opportunities.
- Own and report on a personal sales pipeline; meet or exceed agreed sales/retention targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant services to both new and existing members.
- Promote IWA by developing a network of influential contacts within political, economic, social, and water sector communities.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including membership engagement, marketing, and IT teams to deliver the corporate membership strategy.
- Manage member queries and administrative processes, including billing and invoicing coordination, in line with the company’s SLA guidelines.
- Ensure a seamless client journey from prospecting to onboarding and retention.
- Represent IWA at events (where required), both within the UK and internationally, to promote membership and build commercial relationships.
The above job description contains the main duties and responsibilities for this position, and the role is expected to be approximately 60% developing new business and 40% managing existing accounts.
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a persuasive communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Have proven success in B2B new-business sales (meeting or exceeding targets) and account retention.
- Be an experienced account manager, confident in engaging senior business leaders.
- Demonstrate the ability to research, identify, and approach decision-makers independently.
- Bring marketing skills, with experience using diverse channels to attract and retain members.
- Have professional CRM experience (required), ideally with Salesforce (strongly preferred).
- Possess strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Show respect for cultural differences and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders/time zones.
- Show creativity and analytical ability in problem-solving, with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Ideally, have experience within a membership body, or charity organisation.
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English would be an asset.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations).
- A Master’s degree in a similar area would be plus.
- Formal training and certification in sales and account management (preferably Salesforce Administrator) would be a strong benefit.
Experience Required
- 3+ years’ work experience in sales and account management.
- Experience working in membership associations and/or international organisations would be a strong benefit.

Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger
The Finance Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Charity and providing timely and accurate financial information. The team provides support and advice on all finance matters to staff within all other teams in the Charity and is responsible for ensuring there is a strong financial control environment.
This role is focused on the purchase ledger and working both independently and collaboratively to ensure that the purchase ledger is maintained accurately and promptly, as well as carefully following all controls and procedures in place. The purpose of this role is to ensure:
• accurate figures within Microsoft Business Central (BC) for both internal reporting and analysis and for statutory reporting such as yearend accounts
• prevention of fraud or incorrect payments
• timely payments to ensure no delay to ARUK goods and services received, and no implication for supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of purchase ledger
· Make day-to-day decisions about the purchase ledger such as prioritising payments and workload to ensure purchase invoices are paid within agreed timescales.
· Regularly review all purchase ledger accounts to ensure that there are no outstanding issues such as non-payment, missing invoices, mismatched or unmatched entries.
· Make correcting entries as required where errors are identified within the purchase ledger area.
· Regularly liaise with the Research team to ensure that the folder of invoices awaiting processing matches their records.
· Reconcile all debit balances on the purchase ledger and chase suppliers for any missing invoices.
· Identify and resolve any ad-hoc issues within the purchase ledger, escalating them to the manager if needed.
· Verbal checks of supplier bank account details where we are informed that details have changed, to safeguard against supplier fraud.
Processing of purchase invoices and credit notes
· Check purchase invoices received match purchase orders in BC.
· Where the purchase invoices match purchase orders, convert the purchase orders in BC to invoices, ready to be paid.
· Chase people responsible for raising purchase orders where they have not been raised previously, making sure they raise the purchase orders in accordance with documented procedures going forward.
· Investigate any discrepancies between purchase invoices and orders with the relevant budget holders.
· Check invoices for prepayments or fixed assets, clarifying with the person who raised the purchase order where needed, and post these in line with the documented procedures.
· Check purchase orders for administrative errors when converting to purchase invoices and correct where necessary.
· Post invoices and credit notes in BC, ensuring that prepayments and fixed assets are added correctly and advising others around the charity of criteria for these.
· Attach copy invoices to the purchase invoices in BC and ensure invoice filing is kept up to date for payment runs.
· Follow the documented controls and procedures to pay invoices via payment runs and make additional ad hoc individual payments if required.
Month end reconciliations
· Maintain Fixed Asset register in excel and reconcile to BC, checking that balances are correct.
· Post acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets in BC.
· Maintain prepayments in excel and reconcile to BC, checking that outstanding balances are correct.
· Ensure purchase ledger is up to date for month end, i.e. all issues dealt with and balances correct or flagged to manager.
· Liaise with other team members to ensure clarity around purchase ledger cutoff for month end postings.
Office administration
· Respond to purchase ledger related emails in the Finance Team shared inbox and ensure these emails are filed appropriately.
· Year end audit assistance, collating documents for auditors and answering queries about transactions, controls and processes.
· Checking and approving of payments made by others in the team, e.g. refunds and expenses.
· Maintenance of all purchase ledger filing (on paper, computer files and within BC) to ensure proper records are retained and documents/information can be easily found.
· Regularly update shared process notes to reflect current processes.
· Make payments, keep basic records of payments in excel and perform checks on bank details for our joint venture company as instructed.

About the role
This is a key role within the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team. The Trusts and Grants Team sits within the Philanthropy & Partnership Team in Freedom from Torture’s friendly, creative and ambitious Fundraising & Communications Directorate.
You will represent the organisation externally with funders and work internally with colleagues to identify opportunities for funding, in the preparation of proposals and thereafter, reports.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a plan to grow Trust & Grant income, successfully meeting or exceeding fundraising targets from a variety of funders and experience managing relationships with statutory funders and trust and foundations. You will have experience of managing fundraisers and supporting them to manage their priorities and portfolios. You will have experience of measuring and monitoring income and expenditure, and team performance.
It’s essential that you have excellent communication skills and can build relationships across the organisation to develop strong fundraising ideas and support engagement with senior staff in building relationships with trusts. You will have experience of managing donor funded grants including review of financial information, preparation of donor reports and donor compliance. You must have experience and knowledge of statutory and grant fundraising research tools and grant writing in the UK charity sector.

Job Purpose
To support Habitat for Humanity GB’s (Habitat GB) vision of a decent home for everyone, our National Strategy 2024-2027 identifies two key goals: to (1) ‘develop, pursue and share innovative solutions to increase access to decent, safe, affordable homes for communities across Great Britain’; and to (2) ‘form a diverse coalition that champions the universal right to decent homes and collaborates to implement effective housing solutions for underserved communities worldwide’. The Director of Impact & Influence has responsibilities which contribute to the achievement of both these goals and is accountable for co-leading Goal 2 with the Director of Fundraising & Partnerships. They work collaboratively across the organisation, with Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) and other Habitat global network members, and with a wide range of external partners.
Key responsibilities include the cultivation and stewardship of FOI (Foundations, Organisations & Institutions) partnerships and funding, leading the achievement of ambitious income targets related to donors based in England, Scotland and Wales on behalf of Habitat GB and the Habitat global network. The Impact & Influence Team also serves as the unit responsible for programme quality and effectiveness across the full lifecycle: from design and innovation, through implementation, to evaluation and learning, including high quality proposal development, robust Monitoring and Evaluation (MEAL) frameworks, grant management policy and process across the organisation, and the direct delivery of reporting and compliance requirements to FOI funders.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Director of Impact & Influence helps ensure the impact, sustainability, diligence and productivity of the organisation, including engaging in organisational transformation, within the framework of a values-led approach to people and culture approach.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Organisational Delivery
- Provide strategic leadership for the development and delivery of Habitat GB’s impact and influence agenda, co-leading the achievement of organisational strategic goals, in particular our goal of forming a diverse coalition that champions the universal right to decent homes and collaborates to implement effective housing solutions for underserved communities worldwide.
- Working with the National Director, lead on the development and ongoing review of HFHGB’s National Strategy, as well as our engagement with strategic development at global and regional levels.
- Co-lead Habitat GB’s ambitious funding and partnership strategy in support of impactful domestic and international programme portfolios.
- Shape and drive delivery across Habitat GB’s five strategic enablers, ensuring high-quality programmes, coalitions and networks, organisational visibility, technical leadership, and internal capacity for learning and innovation.
- Lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of a robust organisational performance framework, with monthly/quarterly KPI reporting into SLT and Board governance.
- Cultivate a learning culture that embraces innovation, adapts to external trends, and enhances the organisation’s ability to respond to complex challenges.
- Champion inclusive, accessible, and culturally sensitive programming, in line with Habitat GB’s mission and values.
Partnership Development & Fundraising
- Lead the development and stewardship of strategic partnerships with Foundations, Organisations and Institutions (FOIs) across England, Scotland, and Wales to secure income and achieve impact targets.
- Be accountable for delivering annual FOI income and pipeline targets agreed in the Performance Framework, including soft‑commitments and conversion, quarterly phasing, proposal volume/quality, and donor reporting timeliness.
- Represent HFHGB in national and international fundraising initiatives, influencing stakeholder engagement on behalf of the global Habitat for Humanity network.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising & Partnerships (F&P) team to develop compelling funding propositions, donor reports, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Jointly develop and lead a resource mobilisation plan with the Directors of Programme Delivery and F&P, aligned with the Habitat GB Domestic Programme Strategy, with agreed annual income and impact targets.
- Build internal capacity across the network to engage with locally based partners, navigating sector themes such as shifting power and decolonisation.
- Identify and lead opportunities for research, consortia collaboration, and development partnerships to enhance programming and learning.
Programme Quality, Proposal Development & Grant Management
- Lead the Impact & Influence team in managing the full programme lifecycle — from strategy and design through delivery, evaluation, and learning.
- Work with technical leads to ensure appropriate inputs throughout the full programme lifecycle, for example in relation to gender, climate and safeguarding.
- Ensure robust programme design, effective MEAL frameworks, and compliance with funder requirements.
- Oversee proposal development and grant management policies and processes to ensure high-quality submissions and timely reporting. Collaborate with other teams for consistent compliance and quality.
- Maintain oversight of programme budgets through design phases, regular reviews and reporting including cost recovery, risk and performance, compliance and other standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance, Operations & Compliance to track performance and contribute to high quality reporting, income forecasting and budget management.
- Lead GB adoption of refreshed HFH Core Programming Standards and ensure programme reviews update Habitat GB policies, protocols and practice accordingly.
- Establish and embed MEAL frameworks with Programme Delivery and Retail teams to track outcomes and inform advocacy and fundraising.
- Respond proactively to humanitarian and sector-specific challenges with adaptive programme design and collaboration.
Advocacy & Policy Influence
- Be accountable for the successful delivery of Habitat GB’s domestic and international advocacy strategies, translating programme insights into policy influence and systemic change.
- Represent the organisation in policy forums, coalitions, and sector platforms; strengthen Habitat GB’s role as a thought leader and credible policy influencer with key stakeholders, decision‑makers and communities and elevate HFHGB’s voice in housing and international development.
- Guide the work of UK and Global Advocacy Managers, embedding advocacy as a core mechanism for mission-led impact.
- Strengthen external visibility and influence through partnerships and collaborations aligned with advocacy goals.
Leadership and people management:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing Impact & Influence team, aligning to Habitat GB’s strategic goals and values.
- Set clear team objectives, KPIs and quality standards, encourage a culture of feedback and collaboration, and support continuous professional development.
- Ensure team activities and performance are effectively resourced and managed within agreed budgets.
- Deliver consistent 1:1s, wellbeing check‑ins, mid‑year and annual reviews; foster a supportive team culture where kindness, ambition, and accountability drive high performance and meaningful impact, through online and in‑person team‑building.

Organisational Leadership:
- Support the National Director in delivering Habitat GB’s strategy and vision acting as a collaborative and supportive member of a shared leadership team.

- Be an active leader across the organisation, collaborating effectively with teams, and contributing fully to organisational wide initiatives and opportunities.

- Represent Habitat GB externally at senior forums and deputise for the National Director when required.
Person profile:
- Significant senior leadership experience with a strong track record in strategic planning, programme delivery, and team leadership in complex or networked organisations.
- Proven experience in designing and overseeing high-impact programmes, including development and implementation of impact frameworks and MEAL systems.
- Demonstrable success in securing large-scale funding from institutional donors and large trusts and foundations, including leading successful bids and managing multi-sector consortia.
- In-depth knowledge of fundraising strategy and donor engagement across multiple fundraising streams (institutional, philanthropic, etc.).
- Strong financial acumen: business planning, budget management, cost recovery, and oversight of restricted and unrestricted funding.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or contributing to impactful advocacy strategies and engaging with policy and decision-makers.

About This Job
As Fundraising Assistant at sister charities, ACCT UK and CCFA, you will play a key role in the growth of existing fundraising and in the creation of new income streams. Welfare Rights Adviser

The role
The welfare rights adviser will report to the welfare rights supervisor.
The welfare rights adviser will be supporting people affected by long term health issues with financial challenges, supporting with benefit and housing advice, and referring on for further support where appropriate.
Experience as a welfare rights adviser, including managing your own casework, is essential when applying for this role.
Principal accountabilities / responsibilities: -
Welfare rights advice and casework
· To provide welfare rights advice and casework for people affected by long-term health conditions, including inpatients, outpatients, and carers.
· To work at least two days per week on site, mainly based at the Royal Free Hospital or the Royal Free Charity office
· To provide advice and support primarily on welfare benefits and housing matters (that do not require a solicitor).
· To check whether clients are in receipt of all the benefits they are entitled to and help them claim relevant benefits.
· To help clients understand benefit decisions and challenge them (where appropriate) by way of mandatory reconsiderations and appeals.
· To help clients ensure they keep to their responsibilities in respect of their benefit claims, for example by notifying any relevant changes of circumstances.
· To refer or signpost clients to other agencies or departments as appropriate, e.g., housing solicitors; community care cases involving social services and NHS duties, FCA-regulated debt and immigration services.
· To signpost or refer to other services that might be valuable to a client such as condition specific charities, mental health support, or offerings in the local community that would improve their health and wellbeing.
· As part of this role, there may be some advice given to NHS staff.
· There may also be some involvement in new advice projects
· There will also be some triaging new referrals as part of this role

The support hub department is here to support people affected by long term health conditions (patients and carers), to help them with the practicalities of living with a chronic condition; to improve wellbeing and quality of life.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Senior Policy Adviser to join our Public Policy Team. The role is crucial for the development and delivery of evidence-driven British Academy policy programmes in the area of environmental policy and sustainability, using SHAPE research to impact policy outcomes that support the Academy’s and the Policy Directorate’s strategy.
The role
The British Academy’s public policy programmes explore domestic policy challenges that SHAPE research (Social sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy/Environment) can help policymakers to understand, reframe and find solutions to. We work closely with our Fellows, who are some of the world’s leading experts, alongside a diverse community of academics, experts, practitioners and importantly, policymakers. Our approach is focused on drawing together insights from SHAPE research and convening key figures to understand how these can be applied to policymaking. This gives us opportunities to bring fresh thinking to the most challenging issues, reframe debates, and develop new evidence-based solutions.
The Senior Policy Adviser will lead the delivery of evidence-driven Sustainable Futures policy programmes, with an opportunity at the outset to define the scope and strategy of these programmes. The role needs someone with understanding and knowledge of climate, nature and environmental policy from academia, policy or practice. It also needs someone comfortable bringing insights and analysis together and making new connections across policy themes to approach problems from a fresh perspective.
This is a varied role that requires someone ambitious to engage with a wide variety of contributors to bring together the insights from our evidence-base. You will have the ability to plan and deliver different types of activity: convening stakeholders, managing researchers, and collaborating with counterparts in academia and government.
