The Role

As Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser, you'll take ownership of your fundraising portfolio, focusing on maximising income from corporate partnerships, Trusts and Foundations (both UK and international). You'll build and manage your own portfolio of donors, identify new opportunities, and provide exceptional stewardship to secure ongoing support. Collaboration and adaptability across this small, yet impactful organisation is key, as is a passion for creating positive change.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, trusts and foundations to maximise income and awareness.
• Develop a robust pipeline of funding applications, securing grants from high value trusts, foundations, statutory bodies and corporates. 
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective funders, delivering outstanding stewardship. 
• Research and identify new opportunities, delivering pitches that align with companies' values and ESG goals.
• Organise and support corporate fundraising events, both in-person and online.
• Write persuasive proposals, reports, and donor updates that showcase the impact of our work.
• Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely reporting to funders in line with donation conditions while driving unrestricted and restricted income opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop social media content that engages supporters.
• Work closely with Head of Fundraising to ensure key fundraising objectives are achieved.
• Uphold and embed Village Water values and behaviour expectations in your work.
• Ensure communications are in line with the Fundraising Regulator guidelines.
• Act as an ambassador for Village Water, representing the charity at networking events.

What the job involves

Prostate Cancer UK offers a range of services to support men affected by prostate cancer and their loved ones. These include a multi-channel helpline, printed and online health information, 1:1 peer support and an online community.

We’re looking for a Support Services Innovation Manager to join us in an exciting new role, focused on growing the services’ reach, personalisation and variety, and helping them respond to key challenges. These include rising prostate cancer rates, more complex care pathways and treatments, shifting expectations around healthcare, and rapid changes in online behaviour due to evolving consumer-facing AI technology.

We’re also in the process of developing an ambitious new 10-year strategy for the charity, and you’ll play a key role in setting the terms for how we approach service development across this horizon. You’ll also be skilled at coaching and training colleagues to adopt innovation processes and mindsets.

The Events Coordinator Role will be part of the Philanthropy & Events Team, within the Income and Engagement Directorate, and will report to our Philanthropy Events Manager.

Starlight has a strong and longstanding record of delivering successful and profitable philanthropy events. Thanks to special relationships over many years, our annual Newbury Raceday (hosted by racing guru Nicky Henderson and his Committee), and our biennial Blenheim Ball (led by Lady Alexandra Spencer-Churchill and her Committee), are recognised as sector-leading in both profile and income.

The Philanthropy & Events team was newly established in 2024 to specifically focus on maximising our existing special events calendar, developing new event concepts, and growing a tailored programme for philanthropic and major donor relationships. This is an exciting time to join the team, as we embed our Philanthropy & Events strategy, explore new ideas and work closely together, to achieve our ambitions for sustainable income growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic young organisation and take it into the next
phase of its growth. There will be a role in shaping the next steps of the journey, working closely
with the Founder and expanding our presence in the UK. Wherever opportunities for learning and professional development are possible, they will be offered.

We plan to adapt components of our signature programmes to support newly arrived refugee children in
London to thrive. In particular, we want to work with children themselves, as partners and active
participants in building their new lives. For this we will be delivering playful learning sessions in transitional housing, and will be drawing upon our “Partners in Learning” programme,which uses a Child-to-Child model to engage older children to deliver playful early learning sessions to younger children.

SCOPE OF WORK
The role will be full-time contract role for six months with scope for extension, involving the following:

1. Programme support (60%)
● Supporting the adaptation of our programme content for implementation in UK schools, in
consultation with early years teachers.
● Programme implementation support for Playful Learning and Partners in Learning programmes with refugee and asylum-seeking children.
● Supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning function of the CfC projects, conducting
observations and generating project reports.

2. Local fundraising
● Identifying opportunities and assisting with grant applications.
● Accessing diaspora and local philanthropy by planning events.

3. Administrative support
● Keeping abreast of enquiries email account.

● Supporting with logistics and procurement of materials.

.PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience and knowledge:
● Demonstrable previous experience of working with children and young people in the UK, either
early years or primary school age (can be a non-teaching capacity).
● Relevant academic experience, ideally in social sciences, education, international development or
related field.
● Ability to provide a valid Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate (issued within the last year).
● Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
● Demonstrably strong research and analytical skills.

Core skills:
● Self-starter, with strong organisational skills able to take initiative and work independently.
● Ability to work with a diverse range of people and in particular to be able to work with and
engage children.
● Ability to self-structure, prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines.
● Flexibility to adapt to and address the evolving needs of a small organisation.

Desirable criteria:
● Subject specific knowledge in education, child psychology or child development, particularly in
the UK.
● Understanding of social research methods - designing and conducting face-to-face interviews
facilitating focus group discussions etc.

● Grant-writing or proposal development experience.
● Prior experience with facilitating children e.g. via theatre groups or in sports.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse. 

We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.

We now have a need for an Officer to work closely with the Development Director and CEO in developing our corporate income stream, managing the accounts of existing corporate partners and generating income through securing new corporate partnerships. These partnerships will generate both donations and earned income, with corporate partners contracting Tender to deliver workplace training. You will also work closely with our Corporate Advisory Board, which includes a diverse, ambitious group of professionals who are supporting us to maximise our corporate income stream. This role will involve a diverse range of work, from identifying prospects, creating compelling funding approaches and workforce training pitches, through to successfully managing relationships with corporate partners.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in researching and developing prospect lists for priority industries and implementing new business campaigns which will secure multi-year high value partnerships, both for workplace training and donations
• Experience of selling training programmes to businesses
• Experience in developing engaging and impactful partnership proposals and training propositions
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels

The main purposes of the Development Officer role are:

• Working with the Development team to collectively achieve annual fundraising targets exceeding £2m per year
• Selling workplace training and donation opportunities to corporate partners across a range of industries, but in particular the legal and financial services sectors
• Supporting the CEO and Development Director to increase Tender’s workplace training delivery in order to achieve income targets through sales
• Contributing to applications and events in support of fundraising from other sources

The Internal Communications Manager will collaborate with the Head of Internal Communications to develop and implement communication plans that effectively reach both staff and freelancers, ensuring organisation-wide dissemination and alignment with the Internal Communications strategy.

This role will manage and produce content for the National Theatre’s internal communication channels, including the intranet, staff newsletters, and internal emails, and will leverage insights from analytics and research to identify communication challenges, enhancing the team's ability to improve messaging, listening, and engagement across the organisation. This will also include a collection of events.

This position is vital in fostering a positive, inclusive culture that connects all departments. The Internal Communications Manager will facilitate authentic, values-driven dialogue across the National Theatre, actively enhancing employee engagement and bringing our purpose to life.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

• Demonstrable strategic internal communications experience

• Demonstrable experience in planning, scripting and delivering events

• Strong communications planning skills

• Experience of delivering information in a clear and concise/attractive manner

• Support the planning and delivery of key fundraising events including our annual Gala fundraising event.
• Conduct periodic and ad hoc prospect research on previous and prospective funders and identify new funding opportunities under the supervision of the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead.
• Support the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead to maintain a calendar of deadlines and reporting requirements

The Richmond Group has delivered a programme of work, funded by Sport England, including delivery of We Are Undefeatable (WAU), a social marketing campaign, the development of resources for patients and professionals, packs, evaluation of a suite of physical activity projects and a system influencing programme.

We are now entering a new phase of the programme, through extended partnership funding from Sport England, which aims to increase both our system influencing and place-based activity and integrate this work with our WAU campaign. The aim is to drive system change with a focus on reducing physical inactivity levels amongst people with long term conditions, who are twice as likely to be inactive as the general population.

To deliver this work we need a Policy Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the system change we're seeking through impactful influencing activity. This role will:

* Report to the Senior Influencing Manager

* Work closely across the whole RG Physical Activity Programme team, RG secretariat and our coalition members.

The Safer Futures programme supports people as they rebuild their lives following some of the most challenging experiences in life. The foundation fund work that provides direct support, we also back work that challenges and improves the systems surrounding them, systems that too often fail to provide stability, dignity or security.

This Grants Manager role is focused on refugees and people seeking asylum and navigating migration, as part of the Safer Futures programme.

For refugees and people seeking asylum, the journey to safety and stability is often met with enormous barriers. Even after gaining refugee status, many have just days to secure housing, income, and support. Without it, they risk homelessness, exploitation and exclusion.

We fund organisations that help people move from arrival to independence—through safe housing, legal advice, language support, education and pathways into work. We also invest in systemic change, supporting work that seeks to make the immigration and resettlement system fairer and more effective.

The Role
As a Grants Manager, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering funding that makes a lasting difference. You will assess applications, play a key part in decision-making, and build strong relationships with organisations across the refugee and migration sector. You will carry out policy research, deepen your sector knowledge, and visit funded organisations to learn directly from their work. You will also help us refine and improve our approach to grant making, ensuring our funding is as impactful as possible.
