This provides the platform for the continued investment in the legacy programme ensuring a strong pipeline is developed to support the research ambitions of the Charity.
The Legacy Casework officer is responsible for working on the case load of open legacy cases, taking responsibility for pecuniary, residuary legacies, and contentious cases, with the support of the Legacy Casework Manager (LCM).
The role requires experience and understanding of legacy administration, including knowledge of the legislation and precedents, ability to guide lay executors, review estate accounts, answer audit queries related to casework, and support the LCM to ensure the charity receives its entitlement, as per the Charity Commissions regulations.
It is also the responsibility of the Legacy Casework officer to ensure that the Legacy Admin CRM, First Class, is accurately representative of each case and all cases are in line with data protection principles.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Legacy administration
· Manage legacy cases assigned by LCM from notification to receipt.
· Record new legacy cases and all appropriate information, including income, using databases, setting up regular reviews in line with the Charity’s policy until the completion of the administration.
· Send correspondence to the solicitors, executors and next of kin including all relevant information, with support of LCM where necessary.
· Ensuring the charity receives its full entitlement, satisfying legal requirements by requesting copies of all relevant documentation, as outlined by the LCM.
· Assisting with the end of the Charity’s financial year auditing and accruals process, by attending and supporting LCM in audit meetings, as and when required.
· Reporting on notifications, highlighting any trends in notifications and/or gifts to LCM and Head of Legacy and In-Memory Giving.
· Advising, and supporting the LCM, in development of legacy casework processes and policies.
· Sign receipts for legacies as a delegated officer of ARUK.
Team support
· Inputting into annual planning and development of legacy and in memory marketing plans.
· Being actively involved in cross-functional activities as required, including matrix working.

Purpose
The Fundraising Development Officer supports the delivery of our individual giving programme, helping to nurture current supporters and attract new ones.
You will be responsible for building our regular giving support, implementing supporter journeys and co-ordinating our annual appeals. You will also work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing our major donor plans, and support with other individual giving channels, including in-memory giving and legacy giving.
The role also takes a lead on prospect research, supporting the development of our portfolio of high-value prospects. Through detailed research on prospects and donors, you will build prospect pipelines that will support income growth across the fundraising team. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will see you supporting individual fundraisers across the team nd strengthening the prospect pipelines that drive income at the highest levels. Job Description
As Fundraising Assistant you will be part of a growing and busy team currently responsible for raising £2.7million to fund the charity’s work to take on heart diseases. This role is integral to the team, supporting a variety of fundraising activity including our flagship anonymous heART project, third party challenges such as the London Marathon and Great North Run, fundraising activities organised by our supporters or third party challenges through an external supplier, digital fundraising activities as well as supporting some of our other income streams and administrative functions.
This is a brilliant role for someone looking to start a career in fundraising, giving broad experience across fundraising disciplines, with a particular focus on events, and scope to take on individual projects.
Given the nature of the role, it will require the postholder to be able to manage their time and workload effectively across a variety of tasks, while actively contributing to our work to generate income and achieve our targets.
Key Responsibilities
· To assist with the co-ordination and delivery of all art-related fundraising activities – including liaising with artists, promoting art sales and the anonymous heart project (in conjunction with the marketing team), and supporting the administration of these fundraising activities.
· To support third party challenge events (via external suppliers), including assisting with the administration, marketing, recruitment and stewardship of participants for such events as the London Marathon and the Great North Run and supporting with marathon event weekend activities.

JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR (UK4U), the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for a Prospect Research Manager to join its Partnerships and Philanthropy Team (PPH). This role will play a key part in continuing to build our UHNWI, HNWI, Trust and Foundation and Corporate pipelines, by working closely with fundraising colleagues as well as UNHCR internationally.
This role reports to the Head of Philanthropy and manages the Prospect Research Officer. The post holder will identify research, organise and evaluate a prospect’s financial capacity, ability to give, willingness to give, charitable interests, and connection to the organisation, operating within the organisation’s due diligence process. The post holder will work closely with senior stakeholders within PPH to help drive each area’s strategy and the overall team objectives.
The role manages UK for UNHCR’s due diligence process from renewing due diligence on existing pipelines, to completing new due diligence profiles utilising key due diligence tools and platforms, working with the PPH team, SMT and UNHCR’s global due diligence team.
Passionate about the refugee cause and UNHCR’s contribution, you will have demonstrable experience of successfully identifying prospects as well as preparing and presenting in depth prospect briefs for across the high value fundraising pipeline from UHNW and HNW individuals, Trusts & Foundations and corporates. Role Responsibilities

What You’ll Do
This role enables the DEC and our 15 member charities to effectively respond to humanitarian emergencies and provide timely, quality, community-focused assistance.
As an Accountability & Learning Officer, alongside your efforts to contribute to our learning and growth, you will shape our work to influence key policy agendas. You’ll be working across such areas as climate adaption, flexible funding for humanitarian action, and locally led humanitarian responses.
Overseeing our monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities, you will support the set-up of projects, build relationships, and co-ordinate activities in all our current operational theatres.

The Science Communications Manager is a key role where you will work with fundraising, marketing and communications teams to co-create and deliver compelling stories about Cancer Research UK's research and its impact. This work is central to inspiring people to support the charity and to believe that we're the solution to beating cancer.

We're looking for someone with excellent science communication skills. You'll have the expertise and creative flair to produce accurate, inspiring, and relevant content and be able to communicate confidently with a wide variety of audiences. We're always looking for new ways to connect with our audiences so the more innovative you can be the better.
This role also offers development opportunities, such as being involved in cross-organisation project groups and access to organisation-wide personal development training. As part of a team of 17 science communications specialists you'll also have the opportunity to learn from your peers through our in-team core skills training, giving and receiving feedback on your work to stretch and develop your science storytelling skills.
What will I be doing?
Creating impactful scientific stories by seeking out and distilling complex scientific information into engaging content that can inspire our diverse audiences to support Cancer Research UK's mission.
Creating and delivering presentations, written summaries, video content, interactive activities and event experiences. This includes providing expert media opinion and attending occasional events and meetings across the country to deliver inspiring science talks.
Evaluating the impact that content is having, using this to inform new content and concepts and to improve ways of working.
Developing in-depth knowledge of Cancer Research UK's research portfolio and organisation priorities, keeping up to date with the latest developments and ensuring strategic goals are promoted. Using this knowledge to shape content ideas to maximise their impact and ensure they reflect the diversity of people affected by cancer and our research community.
Safeguarding Cancer Research UK's brand and ensuring the accuracy of the charity's science communications. This includes reviewing and editing fundraising content.
Developing close working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, gaining clear insights into the specific requirements and priorities of different audiences to identify and influence choice of appropriate content.
Promoting the skills and expertise of the team to maintain and develop partnerships across the organisation.
Working with key financial support teams to provide due diligence on selection of research options available for donor funding and advising fundraisers on restricted income.
What skills are we looking for?
Excellent scientific knowledge essential. A higher degree (PhD or MSc) in biomedical or related field, or significant work experience in a scientific environment, desirable.
A passion for and proven experience in delivering bold and creative science communications to different audiences essential.
Demonstrable experience in collaborative project management and proven ability to build trust and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Enthusiasm and ability to keep up to date with the latest in cancer research essential.
Some experience working with charity fundraisers desirable.

The Recruitment Administrator will provide comprehensive support to the Recruitment Manager on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process. This will include, but not limited to, providing administrative support to the recruitment and hiring process, managing candidate correspondence, scheduling interviews, maintaining recruitment databases, and ensuring all recruitment activities are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
The ideal person for this role will have an interest in recruitment and will have previous experience working in a fast paced and reactive role. Confident and personable and able to represent the charity across all levels.
This role will be known internally as Recruitment Executive*.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Assist the Recruitment Manager to ensure a smooth running of the recruitment process
· Liaise with recruiting managers and candidates by emails and telephone while dealing with recruitment queries.
· Prepare, post and monitor job vacancies on internal and external job sites in a timely way ensuring engaging and accurate content.
· Coordinate selection process by co-ordinating interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers across all formats (telephone, video and in-person).
· Maintain and update applicant tracking system; Recruitment+.
· Inform candidates of the outcome of their application/interview and provide feedback if requested.
· Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
· Ensure all required recruitment documentation is completed and filed accurately in line with GDPR.
· Respond to any general enquiries via the recruitment mailbox.
· Prepare offer information to submit to the HR Coordinators as part of the onboarding process.
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role (recruitment experience preferred).
· Experience liaising with external and internal stakeholders.
· Experience working in customer service-based environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills – professional, clear, and confident on both phone and email.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritising workload effectively.
· Ability to build relationships and be a point of contact for Recruitment.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent IT skills; using Word and Excel.
· Ensure that all aspects of data protection and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
· Strong team player.
· Strong ethical standards and a high level of personal integrity.
Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.
