In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Keyworker you will need to be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are a confident professional relationship builder with a good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. You will have strong administration skills and an understanding of compliant behaviours. You will also have good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the area.

As a Specialist Support Worker at Look Ahead, you'll bring either enhanced experience or a relevant higher qualification to the role. Oaklands & St Kilda's is made up of two newly refurbished six-bedroom homes, located close to each other in Ealing, West London. Many of the young people joining us are moving on from hospital, stepping down from more intensive placements, or transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.

We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our Guildford Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Safety and security

• Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house welcome to residents, visitors and staff, and ensure the building is safe, secure quiet and welcoming 
• Maximise the wellbeing of residents and visitors by ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and house rules, all within the terms of tenancy agreements
• Assess and monitor the risks presented by residents to ensure they can keep themselves safe and, where possible, continue their development
• Record all incidents and accidents and share appropriately with the wider team, your manager and, if necessary, the central safeguarding team 

Engagement with residents

• Welcome residents home and provide informal and responsive support so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives
• Ensure resident’s views, aspirations, concerns, and ideas are sought so they can play an active role in influencing the services they receive
• Proactively promote the services on offer and ensure residents are encouraged to engage with those services
• Contribute to, or support, evening groupwork activities so that residents can access tailored solutions that meet their needs, wishes and aspirations

Administration and housekeeping

• Undertake tasks as directed, including but not limited to: inputting data, assessments, reviews, case notes onto our client database and entering new residents details/closing ex-resident records
• Completing health and safety/compliance checks, and recording estate inspectors and room checks
• Adding maintenance requests to our property services system

General

• Work as part of a team, on a rota four on four off shift pattern, alongside another Housing Night Worker, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective at night, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
• Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations
• Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice

We have a vacancy for a Community Outreach Worker to join our team, supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the community with multiple needs who have mental health as a primary need, through providing advice, information and holistic support.

About the Service

This is an exciting and reasonably new project, ‘Flourish’ – Mental Health for Refugees in Hertfordshire, which is a highly flexible and responsive outreach service developed to meet the needs of refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine & other refugees in Hertfordshire.

The countywide holistic service also provides emotional wellbeing support for families who are hosting refugees.

Purpose of Post

• To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
• Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
• To take allocated referrals from any agencies including the Community Navigators, Borough and District Councils, Herts Help, Housing Providers, the Refugee Council and self-referrals including walk in contacts at any of the Mind wellbeing centres across the county.

• To create a safe space for the individual to be able to explore their feelings and improve their understanding around their mental health.

Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to customers with a range of mental health needs - emotional, social, physical or domestic -, who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic staff team at our male Approved Premises in Battersea, playing a key role in pro-social modelling, rehabilitation and community reintegration for those ready to make positive choices.

Working closely with Probation Officers and other community services such as police, health, housing and substance misuse, we provide a stepping stone from prison into the community.

As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues. You will actively engage with residents, supporting communal activities such as meal preparation, and contribute to the delivery of individual sentence plans in collaboration with probation officers, police, and external agencies.

Your role will involve providing administrative and practical support, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and following all operational protocols. You will encourage compliance and enforce rules relating to curfews and drug and alcohol testing as required. Keeping colleagues, multi-agency partners, and management informed is essential.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and well-being of the premises and residents, utilizing tools such as CCTV, observation, and direct personal contact. Accurate, timely record-keeping and appropriate information sharing with respect for confidentiality are critical components of this role.

Using your initiative, you will identify and address additional tasks or emerging issues, working within the service to maintain an enabling environment. The Dash Charity is looking for a Refuge IDVA to join its dedicated refuge services team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a local domestic abuse charity with a huge influence and reach. For almost 50 years The Dash Charity has been supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, empowering women, men and children to recognise the tactics of abuse, break the cycle, and take back control of their lives.

We were one of the first charities in the UK to be awarded Leading Lights status for our Advocacy and Outreach Services by SafeLives, and pioneered healthy relationships workshops in schools over a decade ago.

We run three refuges that offer a sanctuary to women and children escaping violence and abuse, offering specialist children’s support and one to one support for women.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and assess the risks and support needs of refuge clients using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.

• Manage a caseload of clients ensuring each client receives a quality and consistent service and support individual to their needs and risks.

• Support the empowerment of the client and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation, and help them regain control of their lives.

• To ensure that information is shared within data protection guidelines to ensure a co-ordinated approach is taken to understand client need/risk and support appropriately.

• To work in accordance with the Refuge Services Case Management Policy ensuring that all client records and casework are to the required audited standard as per the case management policy.

• To maintain accurate, professional and confidential case management records and databases and ensure all monitoring and evaluation records/tools are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Housing:

• Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living
• Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law
• Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team

We are seeking an experienced and talented ‘Marketing and Communications Planning Partner’ to lead the co-ordination of our marcomms planning process.

The position sits across both our strategic communications and marketing functions in the Digital Technology & Communications directorate and has a responsibility for ensuring that there are plans in place to effectively prioritise our marketing and communications year-round. Their role is to develop audience-focussed, channel-agnostic marcomms plans, which are rooted in our corporate strategy and build from the principles of our brand, ensuring that we are engaging audiences for impactful outcomes. 

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record coordinating complex marketing and communications plans for a large organisation and able to quickly collate and analyse information. They will enjoy building trusted and respectful relationships across the organisation with which to bring greater collaboration.

Main responsibilities:

• Consistent management of our annual marcomms planning process, through which marketing and communications can be successfully scoped and prioritised. 
• Agreeing marketing and communications priorities with senior leads as part of an annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly planning process, ensuring that our approach delivers value for the organisation and a more relevant experience for audiences. 
• Ensure that our plans align with the corporate strategy and are effectively designed to enable the RSPB to grow and retain audiences.
• Coordinate evaluations to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and communications and help to identify actionable insights which can enhance our strategy.
• Collaborate with the Planning & Delivery team to ensure a smooth end to end process from marcomms planning into activity (tactical) planning, working to adapt plans according to feasibility assessments
• Working closely with stakeholders on any emerging trends or issues which may result in a change to our plans and priorities and working with key leads to develop planning in response to this, allowing the organisation to respond effectively to new opportunities and to mitigate risk.
• Oversee continued improvement in our approach to planning and prioritisation, resulting in better collaboration within the organisation, an enhanced experience for stakeholders and ultimately ensuring that we can reach the right audience, with the right message at the right time

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience of complex marketing & communications planning to achieve specified outcomes
• Ability to engage in negotiation with all levels, managing expectations and influencing aligned with objectives
• Experience of successfully managing complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders, from start to finish
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
• Experience of coordinating evaluation of activities and using this information to drive insight led decisions
• Able to demonstrate continual learning in the field of communications
• Excellent writing, planning and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly collate, analyse and comprehend large amounts of information
• Strong communication skills with an ability to listen and understand stakeholder issues
• Experience of working in a large, functionally and geographically diverse organisation, preferably in the voluntary sector
• Experience implementing new processes, templates and frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter & fast learner who is detail-oriented and organised
• IT literacy - competent in MS Office

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience implementing new planning and work management systems and software, such as Jira, and/or Miro

Key Purpose:

To work as part of a team that provide high quality casework and grant applications to farming people that come to RABI for support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality information, advice and guidance in an empathetic and professional manner.
• Conduct a holistic needs assessment for each service user according to their individual circumstances.
• Manage a caseload of beneficiaries working with each service user to establish the most appropriate sources of support and agree an action/support plan with them.
• Collation of evidence for grants applications, checking that essential criteria have been met and progressing applications to the next stage of RABI’s internal grants process.
• Provide a face-to-face service when there is an over-riding need to do so by visiting service users.
• Collaborate with other agencies/service providers who can offer additional support options.
• Liaise with partners, ensuring that agreed actions are followed up.
• Log and communicate details of cases in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that records are up to date and the wider team has the information they need to provide support.
• Explore, assess and escalate any safeguarding concerns according to the RABI safeguarding policy.
• Contribute constructively to the development of the Service Delivery team and function, for the benefit of service users.
• Work constructively and collaboratively to solve problems with the support of colleagues.
• Be an ambassador for Service Delivery internally within RABI and with external organisations.
• Demonstrate commitment to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

Person Specification:

Essential

• Fluent Welsh language speaker.
• Experience providing services to vulnerable service users, listening and supporting in a non-judgemental way.
• Knowledge and insight into state benefits and complementary support services (whether national/local/statutory agencies.)
• Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively, prioritising competing demands to include keeping excellent case records.
• Excellent communication skills, being able to establish rapport and build trust quickly.
• The ability to build a practical plan alongside a service user and adapt approach to different circumstances and personalities.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, particularly in complex situations
• Knowledge of data protection principles and how to apply them.
