We are looking for a passionate and proactive fundraiser to work with our challenge event and community supporters, helping them to raise funds for some of the world’s most marginalised children. 

At Children on the Edge, we envision a world where every child thrives, no matter their geography, ethnicity, gender, or caste. Working hand-in-hand with communities in Bangladesh, India, Uganda, Myanmar, and Afghanistan, we support children in some of the toughest situations. 

About the role

This is a new role in the Children on the Edge team, working to maximise fundraising from community fundraisers (in schools, groups, clubs and faith groups), third party fundraisers and challenge event fundraisers. 2026 will be our largest ever team of runners for the London Marathon and London Landmarks. You will help to inspire and steward this fantastic team of 17 runners. A small but mighty team of runners who are raring to go!

About you

To be successful in this role you will have an enthusiasm and understanding of challenge event fundraising, third party fundraisers and community fundraising.

You will have excellent communication skills, and you’re a natural people-person who is happy to be hands on. Each day will vary, from picking up the phone to talk with fundraisers, to running an energetic cheer point for runners, to visiting a primary school to speak about children living on the edge - in all these environments and more you will thrive in making meaningful connections with our fundraisers, of all ages! You will be naturally pro-active and bring a collaborative approach to working with our dedicated small team in Chichester. You will enjoy preparing reports or talks for our community supporters, be results-driven and have the self motivation and drive to deliver against deadlines.

Overview

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and the ability to capture, transport and store or utilise carbon dioxide will be crucial to ensure a sustainable, competitive and equitable transition to a climate neutral Europe.

The CCSA is the trade association accelerating the commercial deployment of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (or CCUS) through advocacy and collaboration.  Our ambition is to see CCUS developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations. We represent a wide variety of organisations with an interest in CCUS across many applications to decarbonise heavy industries, power, and hydrogen production, and remove carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere.

The CCSA operates as a not-for-profit company, overseen by a board of elected members. We have 20 staff across our London & Brussels office. We turnover around £3m. Our income comes from membership fees from our 120 members and sponsorship at our conferences.

The CCSA has grown by 100% over the past few years, as we have grown in profile and impact supporting the developing industry across Europe. For maximum impact we have focused on delivery, however, we are now looking at enhancing some of our internal systems including our finances. We have a UK registered company and a Belgium registered company, external accountants and bank accounts for each and a recently dedicated internal finance resource. We have some support from outsourced finance support, we anticipate this would continue, at least initially. In terms of accounting packages, we use Xero in the UK and Yuki in the Belgium office.

The role
We are a dynamic organisation looking for a part-time finance manager. We have put some structures and processes in place, but we are looking for somebody that will enjoy improving finance processes and helping make things easier for our teams in both offices. The role will be a stand-alone finance role without any admin support, so we are looking for a self-starter who works independently and is both strategic and operational and won’t mind invoicing/chasing debt.

The role will be managed by the CEO and other members of the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

Finance management

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including reconciliation across both UK and BE offices accounting systems and comparing the forecast out-turn for the year against budget
• Assisting with the preparation of the finance update for the quarterly board meeting working with our two external accounting firms
• Cash monitoring and reporting
• Working with senior managers to produce an annual budget with quarterly re-forecasting
• Supporting the CEO with documents/reporting for the quarterly Board and Finance and Risk Committee meetings
• As finance controller, develop and enhance the CCSA’s finance processes, compliance and systems, especially using tech solutions
• When required, liaise with the external auditors, ensuring that timescales are communicated and agreed, and the auditors’ requirements are met to ensure timely completion of their work

Finance operations

• Preparation and sending of sales invoices (c200 a year) and chasing aged debt
• Oversight of bill payments and expenses
• Process and post month-end journals
• Running the monthly UK and maybe BE payroll including liaising with payroll providers
• Ensuring payroll taxes, VAT and other taxes are filed and settled on time.
• Act as a point of contact with accountants, banks, service providers, and suppliers
• Provide finance support to the wider staff team

• Other ad hoc finance/operations duties as required

About you

The CCSA is very fast paced and has a ‘start up’ feel, so we are looking for somebody that is:

In terms of experience we are looking somebody that is:

• A qualified accountant CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Has strong management accounting and bookkeeping experience
• Experienced in working in a similar role, ideally within a small company environment
• Ideally experienced with Xero and/or other accountancy-based systems
• IT literate with strong Excel skills
• Should have experience of working across countries and awareness of consolidating across different currencies.
• Maybe interested in sustainability, CCUS, working for a not-for-profit or (large corporation) membership body

Salary
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 FTE (£22,500-£25,000 actual salary when pro rata)

Location/hours
This is a part-time role of 2.5 days a week (18.75 hours) and we are flexible as to how these are spread over the week. We operate a flexible, hybrid policy in both offices and for this role the successful candidate could spend 1 day a week in our comfortable London office near beautiful St James Park, SE1, or a remote role based in the UK, with quarterly trips to the London office. There may also be the occasional requirement to travel to our Brussels office a couple of times a year, to deal with any in-person finance compliance/banking issues. The role and responsibilities

As New Business Lead for Employer and HE Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving Unifrog’s growth in our employer and higher education markets. Your key responsibilities:

• Design tailored campaigns involving emails, phone calls, webinars and social media, to target employers and higher education institutions in a smart and engaging way.

• Communicate with interested employers and higher education institutions to explain the work we do at Unifrog and the partnerships we offer in a compelling manner to secure online demonstrations for our Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers.

• Attend conferences (sometimes overseas) to promote the work we do at Unifrog and network with relevant stakeholders in the employer and higher education sectors.

• Be the first port of call for partnership/collaboration enquiries from employers and higher education institutions.

• Work with our team of Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers to understand the challenges they face and how you can support them in growing their partner bases.

• Analyse data from the Unifrog platform to inform your research around suitable higher education institutions and employers that we don’t work with but who would benefit from a partnership with us. 

• Support with other projects such as organising conferences, analysing our competitors, and reviewing our marketing collateral.

• Communicate information about our line up of online and in-person events to non-partner HE institutions, to secure their attendance at these events.

Working together

You’ll be working with the HE and Employer teams, alongside the Partnerships Director for International Schools and HE (who will be your line manager), the Partnerships Director for UK Schools and Employers, the Head of Employer Partnerships, and the Head of HE Partnerships. Your projects will also see you collaborating closely with the Marketing team.

The philanthropy income team is a team of two, working closely with the Director of Development to secure and steward individual donors. As Philanthropy Officer, you will support both the Head of Philanthropy and Director of Development in their work with individual donors, including undertaking prospect research, writing briefings and compelling reports, coordinating meetings and donor visits, and maintaining accurate donor records.

The role sits in the Philanthropy team of the Development Department and is managed by the Head of Philanthropy. You will work closely with colleagues across both the Development Department and the wider organisation.

Main duties

New Business

• Undertake prospect research across the spectrum of philanthropic income in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy - including identification, due diligence, qualification, and creating briefings and outreach plans
• Work with the Head of Philanthropy to identify and cultivate a prospect pool of potential donors, looking at lapsed supporters, current low-level donors, stakeholder network mapping through the Board and Trustees, as well as philanthropists with an active interest in education/social mobility
• Work with the Head of Philanthropy and other colleagues to implement, promote, and maintain a low-level online giving campaign, including transition of our online giving capabilities to the Trust's website, and automated stewardship activation
• Support the Head of Philanthropy to lead the Sutton Trust's approach to alumni fundraising - working collaboratively with the Alumni team in the Programmes directorate to develop and deliver a compelling alumni fundraising campaign
• Support the Head of Philanthropy to devise and implement a compelling legacy campaign, driving sustainable future philanthropic income
• Work with colleagues across the Development team to identify, qualify, cultivate and secure prospects, using resources effectively where there are links between corporates, individuals, and trusts & foundations

Stewardship and Cultivation

• Manage the Trust's online fundraising platforms, such as JustGiving and CAF, to enable smooth processes and a high-quality experience for donors, ensuring new and existing donors are appropriately thanked and have inclination to support in the future
• Be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid-level donors, providing excellent relationship management from cultivation to stewardship
• Be responsible for elements of the planning and delivery of meaningful engagement events for supporters of the Trust, supported by and working with the Head of Philanthropy and relevant colleagues
• Support the Director of Development and Head of Philanthropy to provide high-quality stewardship and management of the Development Board and Fellows
• Support the Head of Philanthropy to develop and deliver appropriate and high-quality stewardship journeys for segmented philanthropic giving, including producing compelling collateral, reporting, and communications that increase affinity and loyalty
• Be accountable for achieving individual agreed income targets, looking for opportunities to grow philanthropic income
• Support the Director of Development and Head of Philanthropy to ensure all record keeping and administration relating to philanthropic income is maintained, up-to-date, and processed in accordance with GDPR and Sutton Trust policies and procedures

Fundraising, Finance and Reporting

• Respond to queries from prospective and current donors in a warm, professional and timely manner, delivering high-quality stewardship and upholding the reputation of the Trust
• Support the Director of Development and Heads in the Development team to manage logistics of their roles - including support for booking meetings and travel, submitting expenses, and creating briefings
• Act as an ambassador for the Trust with external audiences, delivering presentations and providing expertise as required
• Work with colleagues to deliver impactful events to cultivate prospects and steward partners, with a focus on experience for individual supporters and prospects
• Work with colleagues across Development and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, income tracking, and reporting for philanthropic income
• Ensure you appropriately follow policies and procedures on due diligence, Salesforce and data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting
• Stay up to date with philanthropy fundraising best practice and keep abreast of developments and opportunities within the wider fundraising space

Person Specification

Skills and experience:

• Experience building and managing relationships with individuals, ideally in a philanthropy team or other fundraising capacity, or in sales or other relevant professional capacity.
• Experience researching and prioritising information to drive decisions. Evidence of researching qualifying individuals, ideally to create a clear and prioritised propsect pipeline, is not essential but will help you to stand out.
• Experience working with or supporting colleagues across an organisation to make successful asks or secure a specific outcome. Evidence of making financial asks, ideally to secure major donors and cultivate new donors, is not essential, but will help you to stand out.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and tasks to successfully achieve project or other goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to write persuasive and engaging materials, and to communicate effectively with the aim of inspiring and encouraging giving
• First-class interpersonal skills - a natural relationship builder able to represent the Sutton Trust with confidence in a range of settings
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience of the education and/or not-for-profit sector (desirable)
• Experience working with membership groups such as alumni, giving circles, implementing online-giving schemes and supporting legacy campaigns (desirable)

• Hours: The standard working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This role is likely to also be required to attend events / meetings outside of normal working hours during weekday evenings and occasionally at weekends, in line with organisational policies.

About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Configuration Specialist to focus on three key areas; Configuring a new Salesforce platform, integration of existing platforms, and supporting users around the world.

As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialists and Salesforce team, configuring the new system as well as being the first point of contact for Salesforce support across all staff in all 18 countries. Working with the system solution designs and architecture design documents created by the Salesforce Systems Architect, they will configure a brand-new Salesforce platform for program and beneficiary management. They will also need to ensure it is integrated with our existing NPSP donor management platform and works with other systems and services across the organisation.

In addition to configuration, they will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our International Project Manager and Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests. 

Who we are looking for 
You will have proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator and strong experience implementing new configurations from scratch. Educated to relevant degree level (or equivalent, or qualified by experience), be a certified Salesforce Admin, and have experience with NPSP. NPC would be an advantage. 

A logical thinker, excellent problem solver, and an ability to juggle multiple duties and prioritise competing tasks. You must be able to translate solution designs and technical designs into working solutions. 

You must be an excellent written and verbal communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills, and be excellent at customer service.

You must be an exceptionally competent English speaker and have the right to travel to the UK and work in one of the following countries: UK, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Switzerland or Ukraine.

Work pattern: £12.75 per hour, minimum of 12 hrs a week. The 12 hours per week are to include the following hours onsite at Share Bristol on the UWE Frenchay campus.

Oversee the Share Bristol Frenchay Library of Things, ensuring it meets the needs of the local community, and work in partnership with the rest of the Share Bristol team to ensure the success of our charity and our Library of Things service.

This role is responsible for the day to day running of the Frenchay Library of Things, recruiting and supporting our volunteers, helping us engage with partner organisations, including UWE, managing our Thing donations and inventory, and assisting our current and potential members.

We’re looking for someone to start as soon as practical, and work around 12 hours a week. The working hours will be mainly around when we are open for lending sessions.
