About this job
As Senior Salesforce Administrator, you’ll:
- lead the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce system, overseeing all aspects of Salesforce administration and working closely with junior colleagues to support the organisation,
- proactively monitor system performance, pre-empting and avoiding system incidents, and act as a triage point for configuration requests,
- be the main point of contact for small to medium system enhancements, working closely with different teams to configure and customise Salesforce to meet their business needs,
- manage relationships with internal customers and external vendors and consultants.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a Salesforce certified Administrator with significant experience supporting in complex, dynamic environments. You’ll have a proven track record of excellent communication skills and collaboration, and the ability to translate technical concepts into lay terminology. You’ll have strong leadership abilities too, as well as the ability to train and upskill other colleagues to effectively resolve level one and two queries. The purpose of your role
We are looking for a personal assistant with some previous experience, who is keen to support Police Now’s mission of community transformation and culture change in policing, and to undertake a meaningful role supporting the executive leadership team in a busy, agile and ambitious organisation.
Police Now’s executive leadership team currently includes the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Programmes Director. Together, the Executive is responsible for the organisation’s overall health and success and is accountable to the board of trustees.
This role will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure that the executive team works efficiently and effectively. This will primarily be achieved via swift and thoughtful diary management, meeting support (for example, taking minutes of formal meetings and actions from informal ones), management of email inboxes, drafting and responding to correspondence, and similar administrative and support duties. Over time, there are opportunities to develop and add additional activities and responsibilities to the role.
Absolute discretion and trust is critical, as is strong and confident communication with a diverse range of people. You will need to be intrinsically motivated, trustworthy and prepared to take on exciting and varied challenges within Police Now.
Key responsibilities
- Board and board committee governance: be a point of contact for trustees, partners and other external stakeholders and plan and coordinate board meetings, sub-committees, and the senior leadership team meetings. This includes ensuring papers are circulated in advance, meeting room bookings, attending meetings and producing timely, concise and accurate minutes and actions. You will work with the Company Secretary to update our records on Companies House and the Charities Commission to ensure that Police Now is always compliant as well as manage and maintain databases and systems relating to governance.
- Executive team diary management: support the executive team with day-to-day diary management to help ensure that they are effectively utilising their time in the most impactful ways. This includes arranging and coordinating meetings, booking rooms in our London office, arranging travel and accommodation when required and in some cases, sourcing an external venue while being cost effective, all while ensuring that digital infrastructure is available to support hybrid working.
- Financial processing: you will process invoices relating to the executive through our financial system and reconcile the executive teams monthly credit card statements and personal expenses in a timely manner as well as occasionally process expenses for trustees and committee members.
- Project support: assist and support the Executive team and Strategy, Stakeholders and Governance Manager as needed with strategic projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Inbox management: manage the general enquiries inbox and some individual executive inboxes to effectively direct queries and escalate risks as appropriate.
Key Requirements
- We are looking for someone with a good grounding as a personal assistant or with significant relevant experience within an administrative role.
- An ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion; a track record of integrity and good judgement.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work at real pace, manage a varied workload, work to short deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build positive relationships and trust with stakeholders, including staff and external partners.
- Excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to select the most important information to note or share during meetings.
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly minute writing, report writing and correspondence.
- Good initiative, able to proactively suggest ways to streamline or improve processes to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision; can proactively anticipate, respond and adapt to situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), particularly report writing and slide packs; experience in Salesforce or CRM systems is an advantage but not essential.

- Ability to attend the office for a minimum of three days per week (this may change depending on business needs) as well as national travel as and when required.

Purpose of the role
Consumers International is embarking on a range of initiatives in 2025 in sustainable living which include projects and campaigns related to topics like food and energy systems. The Coordinator, Sustainable Living will play a crucial role to help our global team of experts on these topics stay connected, aligned and reaching common goals including World Consumer Rights Day.
You should be comfortable working remotely in a busy and varied global environment and able to communicate clearly and effectively. i) Team co-ordination and development

Overall purpose
This CRM Administrator role will sit within our Data and Innovation team. This team conducts analysis and creates systems to ensure that Breaking Barriers is as efficient, effective and evidence-based as possible. They help us to ensure we are continually providing the best possible support to our clients, as well as to demonstrate our impact and the need for our services to our supporters and partners. In addition, the team builds systems to assist the fundraising team in stewarding supporters and generating income.
The post-holder will be responsible for managing and improving the organisation’s database (Salesforce), training and supporting the end users of the CRM, and creating reports to analyse Breaking Barriers’ data. The CRM system is our ‘single source of truth’, and holds data relating to the clients we support, the activities they have participated in and the positive outcomes they have achieved, as well as information about all of our donors, event attendees, mailing list subscribers referral partners and other key contacts.
The role would suit someone with aptitude for thinking clearly about data, some experience in either CRM administration or data analysis, and a keen interest to learn more. There is scope to further develop a wide-range of data-related skills in the role, including transforming and analysing data in Excel, customising CRM systems, planning data architectures and conducting statistical analyses.

About James’ Place
James’ Place Charity was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts, but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. James’ Place offers men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.
The first James’ Place opened in June 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, and has to date supported more than 2,300 men experiencing suicidal crisis through our innovative and safe therapeutic intervention. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centre and in our landscaped garden, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families.
In 2022 we opened a new centre in London and in early in 2023 we launched an appeal to raise over £10m to fund three more centres across the country. Our third centre opened in Newcastle at the beginning of 2024, and we are currently raising funds to open a James’ Place in Brimingham.
The Fundraising and Communications team
We are a small team with big ambitions. The team comprises a Head of Fundraising and Communications, two Fundraising Managers, a Senior Communications Manager and a Senior Outreach Officer. Fundraising and Communications Assistant
In this varied and interesting role, you will:
· Manage the receipt, recording and acknowledgement of donations received by the London centre and national fundraising activities, working with other centre staff on the development of administration procedures.
· Ensure the CRM database is kept up to date and support the fundraising team to produce high quality reports.
· Support the Events Manger in the delivery of fundraising and engagement events across the organisation.
· Support the Fundraising Managers in arranging meetings and visits with donors and prospective donors.

The post holder will help deliver on their ambitious goal of reaching 2 million people by 2030. Maintain excellent data hygiene, ensuring at all times the charities CRM salesforce is being updated to ensure the pipeline is maintained

Maintain the organisation vetting platform, following up with all volunteers who are stuck at various stages of the vetting checks process

Carry out all the training admin pre and post the training day, working with the Volunteer Operations Leader to ensure this runs smoothly with high attendance

Deliver weekend volunteer training alongside our Delivery Team when required.
Volunteer Recruitment Outreach responsibility:

Understand the communities we work in, working with the Volunteer Operations Leader to establishing links with community groups and local opportunities to attract different demographics

Work with the Delivery Team Leaders to support with the organisation of mentor socials
-
Attend volunteer recruitment fairs and networking opportunities to promote volunteering with The Kids Network.

Follow the charity’s communication guidance and support communications work to attract and retain volunteers

Feed ideas into and help to create content for emails being sent to volunteers in the pipeline and potential volunteers outside the organisation

Attend mentee and mentor group activity sessions from time to time to better understand the purpose of our work

Maintain our digital recruitment streams

Vet volunteers at all stages of the recruitment process, including interview and training in line with the charities safer recruitment policy

Collect references and conduct DBS and oversees checks in line with our safer recruitment practices

Book and coordinate safer recruitment panels throughout the year,

Act in compliance with our policies and processes at all times, using Salesforce CRM, ensuring data is stored and managed in line with GDPR,
