You’ll have an active role providing LGBTQ+ affirmative support for LGBTQ+ children and young people. 
This is an exciting job opportunity to join a dynamic and committed team in a front-line role to support and deliver the activities and services of elop’s LGBTQ+ Children & Young People’s Service.This role offers great opportunity to work innovatively and responsively to support the genuine needs of LGBTQ+ young people.

 In this role you will have opportunity to design and deliver innovative youth group support programmes (12- 24 year olds) & other activities; provide LGBTQ+ affirmative support, guidance and mentoring on a one-to-one basis; work with our wider family work programme, support families with LGBTQ+ children and deliver work in schools to students & teaching staff.  You will have the responsibity to support volunteer mentors.

You will be responsible for the direct delivery of elop’s LGBTQ+ Young Peoples Service, including promotion, & administration, along with the induction, support & supervision of volunteers and interns.  You will work alongside the wider staff team to support elop’s work with LGBTQ+ young people and contribute to sustainable service development.

The delivery of group support and activities will take place in person, and you will be office based three days a week with some remote working on other days before returning to full time in person working.

Full Time: 37 hours per week

You must be available to work Tuesday evenings & once a month on a Sunday afternoon.  There will be occasional other evenings / weekend working required.

What you’ll do

As Finance Executive, you’ll play a key role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly; from processing transactions and performing reconciliations, to ensuring our partners are billed correctly and pay on time. You'll be a key point of contact for finance queries across the business, and your work will be essential to maintaining accurate records and enabling wider decision-making. You'll also play an important role in driving process improvements, and support the team by analysing data and producing insightful reports that inform decision making.

This is a varied role where you’ll get exposure to lots of different areas within the finance function of a SaaS company. It’s perfect if you’re keen to explore your interests and gain a solid grounding across multiple aspects of finance.

• Record, process and reconcile transactions for the company using platforms like Spendesk and Xero, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and categorised. 
• Manage our finance email inbox, responding to queries from schools, universities and employers. 
• Manage our accounts receivable processes, keeping track of overdue invoices, chasing partners for payment and recording received payments. 
• Support our sales teams with general finance related queries and keeping their partner records up to date on Salesforce (our CRM system).
• Improve, streamline and automate processes within the finance function. 
• Get involved with projects such as:
  • Setting up a simple way to keep track of the subscriptions we pay for, and make sure we’re getting good value from them.
  • Finding solutions to increase the number of invoices paid on time.
  • Creating useful reports and dashboards on Salesforce to aid decision making. 
• Support the Finance Lead to:
  • Prepare the payroll for our accountants (including commission calculations) and manage associated schemes (e.g. pension contributions).
  • Manage our accounts payable processes, making and recording payments. 
  • Work on forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning.
  • Check through our quarterly VAT return.
  • Manage the banking for our much smaller Hong Kong and US companies.
• Support the Head of Finance (your line manager) to:
  • Create the annual budget.
  • Support on ad-hoc projects and data analysis requests.

Who we’re looking for

You’ve got some experience in a finance or operations role, or you can demonstrate that you’ve built the relevant skills in another setting and are ready to learn more.

• You’re organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail that helps keep things running smoothly and accurately.
• You enjoy solving problems and thinking critically about how things can be improved, streamlined or automated.
• You’re quick to learn new systems and tools, you might not have used platforms like Xero or Salesforce before, but you’re keen to get stuck in.
• You take ownership of your work, following through on tasks and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• You’re proactive and hands-on, excited to go beyond your core responsibilities to improve how we work and help make it a success.
• Being a proficient user of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot table, x-lookup) is a bonus.
• Having an educational background in Finance, Accounting or a Business related discipline is desirable, but not essential. 

Working together

We’re a small but mighty team of 3 within Finance (this role included). You’ll be line managed by the Head of Finance and will be working very closely with our Finance Lead too. You’ll also have regular contact with most people across the Unifrog, especially our partner-facing teams and the People team. You’ll also be liaising with our external accountants who take lead with the financial accounting and payroll side of things.

Key details 

• £33,000 - £36,000 per year, depending on experience (Grade B).
• This position is advertised as Finance Executive, though internally it will be referred to as Finance Coordinator to better align with Unifrog job titles.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

Our Active Travel Hubs in the Tees Valley provide helpful services and interventions to make walking and cycling the natural choice for shorter journeys in the Tees Valley. This is a pivotal moment for FAST as the need for our work has expanded due to more young people falling into poverty and struggling in schools. Whilst capacity is a challenge with 60% cut in public youth programmes over the last decade (YMCA 2020). We are still growing strong and are able to work with 300 young people annually. Main purpose of post
This is a senior role within the Fundraising team, responsible for driving forward
Weston Park Cancer Charity’s income generation strategy across key fundraising
channels, particularly within community fundraising, donor development, and
community partnerships. Working with the Head of Fundraising and community
fundraising team, you will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious and
creative community fundraising programme.
You will be responsible for managing a small, dedicated team of three, ensuring
high performance, innovation, and supporter-focused approaches that help us
grow our impact across the region.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ensuring that we
meet community income generation plans to achieve and exceed annual targets
currently c. £800k per annum.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising:
 Lead and deliver an ambitious and creative community fundraising
programme, identifying new opportunities to engage individuals, groups,
schools, faith groups, sports clubs, volunteer fundraisers, and community
organisations.
 Maintain, develop and deliver a calendar of high-impact community
campaigns such as Time for Tea, that inspire participation, raise awareness of
the charity’s work, and generate sustainable income.
 Use insights and audience data to create tailored supporter journeys that
build long-term relationships, encourage repeat fundraising, and deepen
engagement.
 Harness audience data and insight to expand our fundraising reach,
increasing income in underserved areas of the region.
 Represent the charity at community events, delivering public talks,
stewarding key supporters, and raising awareness of WPCC’s work across
our region.
 Oversee the delivery of income and engagement targets, measuring impact,
evaluating outcomes, and embedding continuous improvement across all
community fundraising activity

Monitoring & Reporting
 Manage community fundraising income and expenditure budgets, ensuring
strong ROI and cost-effectiveness.
 Produce regular reports for senior leadership on performance, trends, and
forecasts.
 Ensure data is accurately recorded, monitored, and used to inform decisionmaking.

Team Management and Development
 Line manage and inspire team members.

 Provide support and guidance to the wider community and fundraising
team where appropriate.
 Set clear objectives, monitor performance and provide coaching and
development support.
 Foster a collaborative, motivated and high performing team culture.

Operational Delivery and Collaboration
 Ensure all community fundraising activities comply with legal, regulatory
and ethical standards (including Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice,

Edge to monitor activity, analyse trends and report on outcomes.

The Role
This role is focused on managing and growing our work with other third sector organisations. Job Title: Children and Family Worker

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota Monday to Friday between 07:30 - 15:30, 09:00 - 17:00 and 11:30 - 19:30 with occasional Saturdays, at least one Saturday every 3 months between 09:00 - 17:00. 

About the role

Are you passionate about providing safe and stable accommodation to women and children escaping domestic abuse? Wanting to help make a difference and provide specialist support to them to gain greater independence? This might be the role for you.

As a Children and Family worker, you will be based within our Women's Refuge service, supporting women and children up to the age of 15 who have escaped domestic abuse. You will deliver trauma-informed, child and family centred support to promote safety and wellbeing, working collaboratively with mothers to strengthen the parent-child relationship during a time of crisis. You will support with both emotional and practical day-to-day support. This is typically done through key work sessions, risk assessments, and empowerment focused activities. 

You will play a vital role in supporting families, being the sole specialist within the service, which gives you autonomy to shape the role based on your expertise and experience. You will lead on child-focused support, as well as working part of the wider team to provide the support to mothers. You will deliver a range of support for children and young people, as well as family and parenting support. 

About you

We are looking for someone who has a real passion to support families and children who have experienced domestic abuse. You will have a trauma-informed understanding of domestic abuse and the impact it has on families, and will be able to engage in sensitive conversations, recognising signs on trauma, and being proactive to support families to overcome this. This is a hands-on, active role, ideal for someone who is creative, energetic, and passionate about working directly with families. You will be a team player, able to collaborate and provide support to colleagues as needed. 

• A background in working with adults and children, particularly from trauma affected backgrounds
• Experience in supporting mothers in helping children transition to new schools
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging play sessions, after school activities, and family events as well as religious and national celebrations

About the Role

We are looking for a lay or ordained co-ordinator to be a passionate advocate for racial justice.  Candidates will have a good understanding of the complexities and barriers for UKME/GMH people within the diocese and the ability to reflect on these from a theological perspective.

This is a key role in the life of the Diocese, and you will act as advocate for racial justice, develop and deliver training in parishes and church schools and recruit and equip deanery Racial Justice Advocates.  You will work collaboratively with the Racial Justice Officer, the Racial Justice Committee and diocesan leadership team to support the Diocese to hold its racial justice vision and help to inspire, challenge, and empower churches and schools to collectively achieve this vision.

The principal duties include:

• Raising awareness of all aspects of racial justice work in the Diocese and supporting the Diocese to hold its racial justice vision
• Planning, facilitating and oversight of racial justice training and events for clergy, lay leaders and schools
• Recruiting, training, and equipping deanery Racial Justice Advocates and providing ongoing support
• Supporting UKME/GMH vocations to lay and ordained ministry
• Monitoring and collecting data on the progress, impact, and outcomes of racial justice projects

The role is made possible because of funding from the National Church of England and will be appointed on a 3-year fixed term contract.

Main Purpose of the Role

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.

As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across London to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in London as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Delivery:

· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.

· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.

· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.

· Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the relevant safeguarding teams or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.

· Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the programmes, sharing new ideas and using best practice.

· Participate in the periodic review and updating of programme contents and/or development of new materials with relevant colleagues, ensuring that materials used across the team are always uniform and consistent.

· Maintain accurate records of programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact as well as demographics data, and support relevant colleagues in ensuring effective monitoring and periodic evaluation and reporting of impact generated.

· Manage relevant budgets and ensure a value for money approach to all expenditure, making sure to keep within budget.

Programme Coordination:

· Take direct responsibility for logistics of individual programme delivery or activity, including scheduling, resourcing, staffing, and liaising with schools and other partners to ensure effective delivery.

· Work with colleagues in Impact and Evidence team to provide programme data as required to effectively demonstrate impact generated through your delivery.

· Where possible during delivery, generate multi-media content for the use of colleagues in communications to use in updating the Khulisa website and for social media.

Stakeholder Management:

· Support the Programmes & Participation Manager in the building and maintenance of strong relationships with delivery partners - schools, community organisations, and other important stakeholders.

· Contribute to any work to use learning from delivery activities to redesign existing programmes and/or develop new pieces of work as required.

· If required, represent Khulisa at events, meetings, and conferences as required etc.

· Support the onboarding and training of Associate Facilitators and volunteers as necessary.

· When required, support the onboarding and training of other permanent programme staff.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

· Objectively review the successes and achievements of each delivery session facilitated against programme or activity objectives, identifying and implementing opportunities for making ongoing improvements.

· To actively deliver all elements of the Khulisa programme, including work with adults and Khulisa’s Young Influencers.

· Depending on experience and qualifications, to be receptive to any other duties as required by the line manager and in line with the needs of Khulisa.

· To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other professionals, and to participate in team meetings.

· To participate in personal supervision in accordance with Khulisa’s supervision and performance appraisal policy and attend agreed training as relevant.
