Fundraising Manager

As the Fundraising Manager for Behind Closed Doors, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a fundraising strategy aligned with the organisation’s vision, mission and values. This is an exciting and varied role with an opportunity for the post-holder to put their own stamp on it. As our Fundraising Manager, you will build on existing relationships with individual donors, community groups and corporate partners, as well as seeking new opportunities.

We are looking for a Care Supervisor (Senior Care Assistant) to join our dedicated team at Galanos House in Southam, Warwickshire. Experience working in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings is essential.

As a Care Supervisor, you will inspire care teams to provide compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each resident’s needs. Evidence of professional development in dementia care is required. Working 37.5 hours per week, shift patterns are from 7:00am to 2:30pm and 2:00pm to 9:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

About You and the Role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of the organisation’s marketing work spanning advertising, social media, print, content creation, data capture and intelligence gathering, evaluation and reporting.

Essential

• A minimum of four years experience of working in a digital marketing or communications role within an arts or comparable organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of content creation and distribution across a wide range of digital platforms.
• Experience of creating printed media, including liaising with designers, printers, distributors and ad providers.
• Experience of working across multiple strands of communications work including campaigns, print, ads, social media, website management and email marketing.
• Strong knowledge of marketing analytics platforms such as social media and Google Analytics and AdWords.

To keep our work going, we raise money through events, donations, and sponsorships. We also contribute to national research and working groups so that survivors’ voices are heard and included in future policies and practices.

Reception Duties:

This role is responsible for maintaining front of house, welcoming visitors, clients and guests, answering enquiries over the phone, via email and in person. 

Facilities Duties 

Liaising with Facilities Manager and supporting with facilities duties such as scheduling and supporting with internal and external room bookings, coordinating scheduled works and ensuring access for maintenance and external contractors as required. 

Administrative Duties:  

This person will play a key role in administering certain financial duties and assisting the Head of Finance and Resource with their reporting duties, keeping the organisation running in a smooth and efficient manner. 

Support the Wider Snowdrop Team:  

To work with the team to coordinate excellent service delivery and support for volunteers and service users in line with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Snowdrop Project. This can include participating in team meetings, away days and supporting and promoting internal activities, creating content for internal and external activities as required.

About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Manager role will work with The Income Generation Manager, The Fundraising and Communications Team and the Senior Leadership teams to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively planned, developed, and implemented. As the Fundraising and Engagement Manager you will be responsible for supporting the growth of unrestricted income across individual and major donor as well as managing our corporate, and community fundraising.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of fundraising and engagement activities incorporating culture for sustainability and growth for the organisation. You will create and deliver inspiring campaigns, optimise donor journeys, and ensure excellent supporter stewardship. As the Fundraising and Engagement Manager you will support, develop and direct colleagues within the fundraising and engagement team leading on a range of activities and ensure that fundraising ideas and events are high profile and will generate funds. You will be able to reach fundraising targets and have a proven track record of tools used in fundraising such as Just Giving, legacy, Charity of the Year, media campaign and fundraising, face to face, corporate and strategic fundraising experience is also needed.

You will be proactive, work well on own and in team and have experience in delivering presentations and key messages to a range of audiences.

The post-holder will report to the Strategic Director of Fundraising & Development, deputising as required, and will line manage the Development Administrator. This role is predominantly based at Leeds Playhouse with some scope for hybrid working, complementing the Strategic Director role (a part-time role, mostly working remotely).

This is a permanent, full time contract. We would like to fill a requirement for 35 hours per week, which is full-time for this role, with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
