Job description

Kingston Centre for Independent Living (KCIL) are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication and operational management skills to join our organisation in the CEO role. The right candidate will have experience in leadership and be pro-active in taking forward the organisations strategic aims; with the view of developing, growing and diversifying our offer.

KCIL is a charity based in Kingston-upon-Thames. We have been campaigning for the rights of disabled people for over 50 years.

We currently offer a range of services and support to disabled adults, children and their families, including:

•Direct Payments Support Team - to help adults get the most from council money for their social care support to live their life independently

•Holiday, equipment and training grants for adults to take a break, live their life easier or learn new skills

•Information, advice and support on local groups and services

•Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support for children and young people who need extra help at school and/or college, or with their health or social care requirements

•Personal Health Budgets support to help adults use NHS money to improve their health and wellbeing

•Activities including for example - art groups and boat trips

•Volunteering opportunities

Salary: Pay scale 69-77 (£40,614-£45,036) Negotiable depending on skills and experience 

Plus pension and annual leave entitlement

Location: Kingston upon Thames, Greater London
