As a Ubele Programme Assistant, you will be a member of the Community Wealth Building hub supporting our Programme Manager with the Agbero2100 London programme by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with our partners ensuring resource availability for the project team from project inception to completion.

Main duties & Responsibilities

• To act as the first point of contact for the Agbero2100 London programme, responding to and redirecting enquiries as appropriate.
• To co-ordinate the work and meetings of programme stakeholders and partners, including minute taking. 
• To ensure effective and ongoing communications with key stakeholders, maintaining their interest throughout the programme.
• To gather partner agreements, consultancy agreements, contracts and purchase orders, working closely with our finance hub to issue invoices and chase outstanding payments.
• Coordinate the programme information with stakeholders. 
• To manage programme information ensuring all data is stored and shared securely. 
• To organise events and seminars, and to draw together the contributions and outcomes from these events.  Providing support where appropriate.

About the role:

We are looking for two exceptional Senior Philanthropy Managers – Health to join our Fundraising & Supporter Development (F&SD) team to significantly increase philanthropic income for health fundraising priorities across King’s College London (KCL). Each partner contributes staff capacity and will work closely with the appointed person to ensure a positive, professional and supportive culture. The Partnership centres around: 

1)  Placing decision-making power and strategic vision in the hands of people doing the work 

(frontline staff and people with lived experience), via a steering group and working groups.

This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

Purpose of job:

The Fundraising Event and Challenges Lead is responsible for overseeing the fundraising events portfolio, developing and driving the strategy, and leading the delivery of a wide-ranging events and challenges portfolio to deliver ambitious organisational objectives and fundraising growth targets. This includes high-profile celebrity sporting and non-sporting challenge events alongside special events and mass-engagement events.

Key responsibilities:

· Leads the strategy setting and annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s events, including building financial models, developing business cases and strategic plans.

· Lead the operational planning and implementation of fundraising events from ideation, through development and delivery, ensuring an agile approach to changing circumstances and to manage risk and maximise income opportunities.

· Manage and coach the events co-ordinator to support and deliver operational and fundraising activity across the portfolio to deliver against agreed plans and objectives.

Activities can include promoting our membership offering to immunologists working in academia, industry and the clinical sector, promoting key activities such as our events or training offerings, and supporting initiatives to raise the importance and influence of immunology. On publishing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful marketing activities to increase submissions and readership of our official journals, Clinical & Experimental Immunology, Immunotherapy Advances and Discovery Immunology, in particular building the reputation of our newer Open Access journals
