Our partner seeks a seasoned, analytical management accountant, with experience in project accounting and finance business partnering within an international charity. This is a 1 year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leads to monitor budgets and provide tailored financial insights, and regular reporting on project performance and expenditure tracking, ensuring effective resource management across funded initiatives.

The Role

Deliver work targets on time and to standard to support the Foundation’s data and systems: :

The Finance and Grant Controller will manage all financial aspects of WaterAid’s Multi-country Urban Water Project, ensuring rigorous financial oversight, compliance with donor requirements, and alignment with organisational financial policies. This is a bold initiative aiming to raise $40 million and reach two million people with clean water in urban areas across six anchor countries: Colombia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, Bangladesh, and Cambodia.

In this role, you will:

1. Financial Monitoring and Reporting

• Prepare and review all financial reports in line with specific contract requirements and deadlines
• Monitor project budgets, tracking actual expenditures against budget allocations and flagging variances to the project team
• Monitor movement in exchange rates and local currency budget variations

2. Budget and Forecasting Development & Grant Support

• Assist program staff in preparing detailed budgets in each country project

To be successful, you will need:

Technical Qualifications and Skills

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
• Experience in the use of SUN, or a similar multi-dimensional accounting system.
• Experience in managing programme or project finance funded by institutional donors ( e.g. USAID, FCDO or other reputable organisation)
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skill
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
• Knowledge and experience of donor fund management in an international context

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and organised Administrator to join us at The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) as the Membership Operations Administrator. 

This is an exciting and stimulating opportunity for a talented Administrator who is keen to develop their skills and customer service experience to make a positive impact on our members. In this role you will have responsibility for completing administration activities, work within service level agreements to respond to queries and complete membership processes. You will be efficient, responding promptly to data requests and deliver strong data integrity for membership.

• Experience of using and maintaining a database or equivalent to store and retrieve data.

As the Head of Intercultural Engagement, you will be responsible for leading the Intercultural Engagement strand of UCL’s Student Life Strategy. By building relationships across UCL harnessing the rich diversity of UCL’s student community and creating new and investing in existing relationships with international partners, you will work to increase the number and range of opportunities for students to gain intercultural exposure on and off campus, managing a small team to support the expansion of our global engagement work. 

You will lead the Union’s work on Freedom of Speech at a time of change, increasing complexity and opportunity for the sector. Your team will support the organisation to deliver over 1500 external speaker events each year. You will be responsible for leading innovative programmes aimed at enabling students to disagree well at a global university as we tackle challenging issues in an uncertain world.

Overall purpose

The Employment Adviser (EA) plays a key role in supporting refugees and people from refugee backgrounds to progress towards and secure sustainable employment. The EA provides tailored employment advice and guidance, helping clients build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to navigate the UK job market. This role will work with clients at various stages of their employment journey, with a particular focus on those in the earlier stages of understanding career options, developing employability skills, and exploring education, training, and volunteering opportunities.

The EA will deliver one-to-one and group-based employability support, collaborate with employers and volunteers to source opportunities for clients, and maintain strong relationships with referral and support partners to ensure a holistic approach to employment support.
