Job description

The role of Lobbying Programme Manager will be pivotal in coordinating Hope for the Future's grassroots engagement across the UK. We are looking for an individual with a strong collaborative work ethic who is passionate about halting climate change to manage our lobbying work. If you’re the right person for the role, you will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for someone with previous experience managing people, projects and/or programmes to oversee the planning, delivery and evaluation of our MP engagement at a constituency level. The role will be responsible for leading our work in local constituencies, including our two new regional offices in London and Liverpool. The regional offices are currently a team of 4 with expansion planned in 2021.

This role will also develop our client work, for example with academic institutions and delivering lobbying training to other climate NGOs as part of our partnership strategy. The role sits in parallel with the Projects Manager, and together the two roles will ensure that HFTF supporters have a seamless experience of our services, and that we can evaluate successes and challenges across all of our project and programme delivery.

Applications close at 9am on Monday 14th December. We are shortlisting as applications come in so apply now!

Interviews will be held on Thursday 7th January 2021.
