The Role
Working closely with senior leaders and programme teams, you'll lead the communications approach across key transformation programmes, creating clear, engaging and effective communications that build understanding, confidence and engagement.
You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping colleagues navigate change while ensuring communication activities support successful programme outcomes.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model, requiring colleagues to work from the office for at least 50% of their working time.
About You
You'll have:
- Significant experience delivering change communications within complex organisations
- Experience supporting transformation, organisational change or culture change programmes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including advising senior leaders
- The ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging communications
- Experience developing communication strategies, plans and engagement activities
- Knowledge of internal communication platforms such as SharePoint and Viva Engage
- Understanding of change management methodologies such as ADKAR or Kotter
- A proactive, collaborative and highly organised approach
Desirable:
- Experience within the charity, non-profit or social impact sector
- Experience using data and insight to evaluate communications effectiveness

We’re looking for an experienced and influential Policy and Public Affairs Lead to drive Blood Cancer UK’s UK-wide policy and influencing work. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee a pipeline of policy and influencing content, and ambitious influencing strategies that put the experiences of people affected by blood cancer at the heart of decision-making. Working across Westminster and the devolved nations, you will build and maintain strong relationships with parliamentarians, government officials and key stakeholders, ensuring our voice is heard where it matters most and translating evidence and insight into meaningful policy change.
You will lead, support and develop a small team (two Policy and Public Affairs Officers: one focused on Scotland and Northern Ireland; the other focused on England and Wales). Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with the Health Team to identify, develop, and propose new initiatives, contributing to Hestia's ambitious growth targets. They will lead on tenders that align with organisational priorities, finalising technical questions and method statements, and ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time. The role involves bid writing and review support, conducting research into health and business development models, and exploring integrated funding opportunities. The post-holder will also work alongside Operations and HR teams to develop staffing structures, service delivery models, and financial plans, including modelling the impact of TUPE where relevant.
In addition, the Senior Business Development Manager will support the mobilisation of successful tenders, participate in presentations and clarification interviews, and evaluate outcomes to inform future submissions. They will contribute to Hestia's development strategy by identifying new growth opportunities, supporting service redevelopment, and fostering partnerships or consortia as effective delivery methods. The role requires engagement with commissioners, attendance at strategic forums, production of reports, and participation in internal working groups, while maintaining commercial confidentiality and pursuing personal training and development to enhance understanding of Hestia's services.

The role of Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will lead the Events and Partnerships Teams to deliver their strategy and plans. Working with the Head of Public Fundraising the Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will carry out a programme of continuous improvement to shape our programme of events for supporters, the local community, our children, young people and their families and retain and grow our partnerships and community fundraising programmes. This work is vital in helping us to achieve our strategic aims of increasing our net contribution and growing our supporter base.
The successful candidate will proactively lead our Events Team to review and overhaul our current events programme before implementing a varied and exciting refreshed programme which will engage new and current supporters as well as the local community and our children, young people and their families. They will also lead our Partnerships Team to develop and maintain and grow long-term, high value and multifaceted community, group and corporate partnerships to maximise income, value and influence for The Children’s Trust. You will lead a small team of events and partnerships managers to secure and manage a range of new and existing partnerships and events (including owned and third party).
Income generation and strategy
- Lead the implementation and delivery of the strategy for the Events and Partnerships teams and work with the Head of Public Fundraising and the teams to develop and review strategies to maximise income from events and partnerships
- Utilise audience insight to develop a broad and innovative range of income generating products to engage new and steward existing partners (including community supporters, businesses, groups and schools)
- Lead the Events team to review and overhaul our current events programme so that we are maximising net income and ROI as well as meeting the needs of our supporters and local community, and building connections and long-term relationships with our events supporters
- Manage partnership pipeline including building opportunities with new businesses to increase the range, value and number of partnerships for The Children’s Trust
- Work with the Partnerships team to implement processes that streamline and integrate relationship management across the team

Events and relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing corporate partners, groups, supporters, senior volunteers and committees
- Work with the Events and Partnerships Managers to create account plans for corporate partners, groups and schools, as well as supporter journeys for community supporters and participants in our events programme
- Work with Events and Partnerships team to ensure that we are maximising opportunities within our relationships, achieving long-term growth and retention of all supporters and working with teams across the directorate to cross-sell other appropriate opportunities for support
- Develop relationships with colleagues across the Public Fundraising Team, wider directorate and organisation to ensure that opportunities for engagement, integration and promotion of events and partnerships are maximised and publicised

We are seeking to appoint a permanent Director of Retail; however, we will also welcome applications from experienced interim retail leaders who can bring immediate expertise, stability and momentum during this important period while we recruit to the permanent role.
Weston Hospicecare is located in the quiet village of Uphill on the North Somerset coast, and was founded by our local community over 30 years ago. We are the major provider of specialist palliative care within the catchment we serve, offering in-patient, community, day care and related services to patients, and bereavement support to their families and loved ones. All our care is provided free of charge to whomever needs it, however it costs approximately £7 million every year to provide our full range of services, of which less than 20% is funded by the NHS. The remainder is raised each year through a combination of our retail division income, our multi-varied fundraising activities, and gifts in wills.

Our work combines learned and lived experience grounded in the realities of migration in Scotland.
MPS pioneers an approach that integrates migrant lived experience into research-driven policy influencing. With funding from The National Lottery Community Action Fund we are working to further develop and embed this area of activity and to grow our migrant community of practice. We are committed to support the work of our Migrant Lived Experience Panel. We will shortly be launching the first year of our new Capacity Building and Leadership Development Programme for migrants and migrant community organisations, alongside continuing to develop of our migrant community of practice.
We are seeking a part-time participation officer (0.3 FTE) to support our senior staff in the delivery of this important and ambitious work.
Potential candidates for this role are likely to have a background in community engagement and/or volunteer support and familiarity with social research methods. Preferably some of this experience will be in the migration sector. You may be seeking to combine this role with other third sector activities or be enrolled on an ongoing postgraduate degree programme. Job Description:
The participation officer will:
- · Support the development of a training offer to build capacity and leadership among migrants and migrant community organisations in Scotland.
- · Assist in the development and delivery of a bespoke curriculum and the organisation and running of training sessions.
- · Take a leading role in ensuring that the training offer is widely advertised to an appropriate audience and in the recruitment and selection of participants.
- · Design and assist in recording and analysing feedback and evaluation from training programme participants.
- · Provide ongoing engagement with and support to our Migrant Lived Experience Panel members.
- · Support a recruitment, application and selection process for a new group of Migrant Lived Experience Panel members.
- · Facilitate the co-development of projects through supporting inclusive communication and proactive engagement with prospective partners and participants, including through co-development workshops.
- · Contribute to the drafting of project proposals and funding applications.
- · Support the work of the Director and Associate Director in all aspects of the project, working as part of a small, busy team.
