We are seeking a passionate, connected and well-organised leader, to manage and develop our Church Engagement team and mission with UK churches, networks, community groups and volunteers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will allow you to make a real difference to the lives of millions of people in the Middle East and North Africa. You will help to manage, maintain and increase income and engagement through the following key responsibilities:
·Work with the team to implement strategies for growing key areas of income and engagement with churches and individuals, maintaining prospect lists, communicating with churches to resource and increase engagement.
·To manage, motivate and support a diverse team in different geographical locations and working patterns.
·To assist with delivering the church partnership and media projects programme, inviting church leaders and churches to join, helping research, prepare and send project proposals, reports and associated resources.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Digital Acquisition Executive to join our growing Individual Giving Team within Public Fundraising at Prostate Cancer Research. This is a pivotal new role, offering huge potential to shape the future of IG at PCR and capitalise fully on our exciting growth trajectory.
The last 12 months have seen significant transformation within our IG fundraising, with our regular giving base more than trebling. Building on this momentum, and campaigns such as last year's successful prostate cancer screening petition and our increased campaigning and public relations footprint. We are committed to strong investment in supporter experience and a genuine relationship-based approach to fundraising, ensuring all our supporters feel valued and exceptionally well-cared for. Recent positive media opportunities have further underscored our potential for growth.
This role will be instrumental in driving continued expansion through digital channels, including paid social and email, with significant scope to identify and implement new, innovative, or novel acquisition strategies. You will be key to growing our supporter base and maximising their lifetime value through engaging digital stewardship and carefully crafted supporter journeys. Lead generation and conversion, cross-selling, and the development and management of these journeys will all be significant aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition and Fundraising

Develop and implement acquisition campaigns and activity to attract new supporters through social platforms, both paid and unpaid, search engine advertising, and email marketing. As well as novel and innovative platforms and opportunities as identified.

Work with the team to ensure all supporters are thanked and updated in an appropriate and timely manner and all interactions and activities are in line with our supporter promise.

Ensure supporter journeys are segmented and personalised wherever possible.

Cultivate deeper engagement with supporters beyond transactional interactions, exploring opportunities for meaningful dialogue, feedback mechanisms, and a sense of community.

Skills and Competencies
Our ideal candidate would have the following:

Proven experience in digital acquisition for charity or social cause, or in paid digital marketing or advertising in commercial roles. With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

Evidence of leading successful digital / integrated digital campaigns leading to significant sales/income/lead generation.

The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on digital campaigns across all channels.

Knowledge and experience of trends and dynamics in digital fundraising (ideally), including audience identification and optimisation strategies including with new technologies like AI tools.

Experience and a track record of working on landing page optimisation and on-site conversion funnel improvements.

A good understanding of individual giving best practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.

About Aspens
Aspens is a charity that provides high-quality person-centred care and support to individuals on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities, and their families. We provide an integrated network of services and support across the South-East to empower individuals to lead their lives as independently as possible.
We support children, families and adults across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Surrey and the London Borough of Bexley. Our services include registered care homes, supported living, community outreach, day services, children and young people’s groups and support, specialist support, and online support for families and carers across the South-East.
Aspens has three charity shops in Bexhill, Crowborough and Paddock Wood and online stores on eBay, Etsy and Vinted. We also have The Bluebell Café and animal farm and a pre-loved donations centre in Pembury.
Purpose of Role
This role will work with direction from the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver marketing campaigns to raise awareness of and promote Aspens’ services, income-generation activities including fundraising, retail and hospitality, and recruitment; engage with our internal and external stakeholders; and reach new audiences. A key part of the role will be internal ‘customer’ support, collaborating with departments across the charity to meet shared goals in line with Aspens’ strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign delivery
· Collaborate with the operations, fundraising, retail and recruitment teams to create and deliver comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Aspens’ services, shops/e-commerce, hospitality, events and recruitment and meet shared goals in line with the charity’s strategic objectives.
· Create and deliver internal comms campaigns to drive engagement and increase retention of staff.

The Role
The purpose of the Policy and Communications Manager role is to:
- Deliver against our National Voices’ policy and project work through a programme’s life cycle, from inception to delivery and evaluation, and within budget
- Manage our communications work to our members and external stakeholders to successfully communicate all relevant organisational output including policy, improvement, lived experience and insight work.
- Work with voluntary sector organisations and people with the greatest health and care needs to develop National Voices’ deliver our policy and communications positions in line with our strategy and members priorities.

Responsibilities
Management oversight
· Manage projects or programmes which are significant in terms of income, profile or risk, and which are often delivered in partnership with others.
· Identify possible future partnerships, follow-on work and funding opportunities that arise from our policy and external affairs work, including from stakeholder relationships, and proactively work to secure income
· Line-manage staff, in the first instance our Communications and Events Officer, to include appraisals, setting objectives, monitoring performance and supporting development.
· Support the policy and external affairs team to deliver against our priorities and projects, including deputising for the Director of Policy and External Affairs, working in sync with other team managers and holistically supporting junior staff members
Deliver against our policy priorities and projects
· Identify, monitor and evaluate policy issues to formulate new policy positions, taking responsibility and action for our position on specific policy areas. This may include developing policy briefings, position papers, consultation responses, blogs, reports, letters and other policy and public affairs documents that capture our policy positions.
· Lead on policy projects from inception to delivery and evaluation including keeping to a set budget where appropriate.

· Manage the sign-off of relevant comms materials including social media, member newsletter, blogs, articles and media statements

Our approach to hybrid working
We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.
We ask all staff to take part in pre-arranged team meetings which take place every six weeks in our office space. We also might ask you to meet in-person with members of your team from time to time, or to be available for face-to- face meetings with clients and partners where this enhances the work.

Battersea's Global Programmes Department is looking for a Grants and Programmes Manager to manage the delivery of a portfolio of work within the Grants and Programmes function. This is an exciting time for Battersea as we expand our work to impact more dogs and cats. Over the coming five years it is planned that the size and complexity of grant making will grow, including the establishment of several multi-year programmes in the UK and abroad.
This is a senior grant making role within the Grants and Programmes team in the Global Programmes Directorate, requiring excellent experience of people management, strategic leadership and good grant making practice.
The successful postholder should be comfortable making proposals, suggesting alternative approaches and solutions, supporting the contributions of others, and advancing the collective interests of a team. They should also be comfortable working with considerable scope, and complexity and nurturing relationships with colleagues and external partners as an integral element of the role. Criteria
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. You’ll enjoy looking for ways to optimise all elements of campaigns from creative, content and media testing and able to act as a key point of knowledge in this area. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. You will be confident working with data with attention to detail and accuracy, from briefing data criteria for emails to using excel to review and share results. You will also be able to engage wider stakeholders in our acquisition testing plan development, providing clear regular communication to update on progress and learnings. Most importantly, you’ll be keen to deliver insight and audience-led, best in class fundraising campaigns to help Brooke realise an ambitious acquisition growth programme. `

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust

The Role
The Clubhouse Social Café Manager will lead on the implementation of the of café (Due to open in October 2024) and will manage the Food and Beverage Operations in line with food, and health and safety regulations. You will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the café, providing a diverse of community and health wellbeing projects in collaboration with Trust Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing. They will also manage and mentor staff and trainees to deliver an effective and inclusive service to customers.
About You
We are looking for a passionate, inspiring catering/hospitality specialist to lead on training, mentoring and the hospitality operation of our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub at the site and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. Projects will include mental and physical health with the space acting as a central meeting/training hub. In this capacity you will work closely with the Trust's Health and Wellbeing Senior Manager.
We are partnering with the homeless charity Change Please to create a West London training hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training the café team. Our founder partners in the project are The University of West London (UWL) and the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association Fund. We are linking with the University to offer a range of immersive opportunities for their catering and business students and our Café Manager will link with them on a number of working projects.
The other aspect is the promotion and training in the importance of food, health and performance and the Manager will work with our Trust team to create innovative content and inspiring outreach programmes. Whilst we expect the Manager to have an active interest in food and nutrition, we plan to put some catering support and training in place to support the position.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has appropriate experience to lead the food and beverage side of the operation. They will be involved in the initial set-up of the facility (Due to open in Summer 2025) and the establishment of appropriate operation and health and safety procedures.
We have developed a sustainable business plan, however you will have the opportunity of contributing to the ongoing development plan. We have the benefit of understanding who our customers are, when they are, and even when they will arrive! This will need to be balanced with the social and community programme, and whilst it will be a challenge, it will also make for an enriched role in dealing with a range of people and organisations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the implementation of the café, including the setup, adherence to food and health safety and regulations, and staffing.
- Development and procurement of suppliers for café to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Contribute to and delivery of project-based business plans as directed by the CEO and Head of Social, Education and Health Hub.
- To organise and manage the preparation and presentation of food whilst ensuring agreed standards are maintained at all times, and that any special dietary needs are catered for.
- Adherence to HACCP and all other food safety regulations and COSHH regulations., ensuring the statutory requirements are met and all necessary records are maintained.
- Deal with customer feedback in a courteous, efficient and timely manner, monitoring and evaluating this feedback, making appropriate recommendations and taking action for service improvements.
- Working safely with kitchen equipment and ensuring that all other health and safety procedures are followed.
- To maintain a clean, healthy and safe working environment in accordance with guidelines.
- To mentor staff, trainees and work experience students in the effective operation of the facility.
- Deliver appropriate training to Clubhouse Café Staff, to foster a culture of excellent customer service.
- Stay informed about safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practices.
Essential Criteria
- Level 1,2 and 3 Food Safety Awards
- Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
- Experience of kitchen equipment
- Experience as a manager of operations and staff in a food and beverage business.
- Experience as a manager responsible for compliance, particularly health & safety and licensing, as well as finances in a food and beverage business.
- Experience in project management and meeting deadlines.
- Experience of supervising and training small groups of staff
- A working knowledge of budgets and gross profit margins
- Good team player
