We are looking for a Communications and Social Media Manager (Maternity Cover) to join the dynamic communications team at London's historic food market. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of Borough Market's communications function in a hands-on and creative role which directly shapes how people see and feel about the most famous market in the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, the key focus of this role is to develop and manage Borough Market's social media and communications functions to enhance the Trust's overall reputation and build support for the Market's corporate and societal aims, in addition to working alongside the Head of Communications and Marketing to support generalist communications activity.

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• Develop, manage and execute BM's organic social plans to help to deliver BM's purpose and key messages to customers and audiences
• Deliver social and traditional PR content and influencer marketing to communicate the Market's key messages
• Manage and implement the Market's social media and communications activities in line with the Trust's strategic plan
• Manage external filming requests and report internally on press and social media coverage

You will need to be a talented and creative social media expert who can help cultivate a thriving culture of engagement across the Market's community of staff, traders and visitors. You will be a team player collaborating with the wider team on creating engaging content to ensure that Borough Market's story is as visible to priority audiences as possible.

Applicants will need to have a strong social media background and creative digital skills. Experience in a similar role or environment as well as outstanding communications skills, a self-starter approach and a keen interest in food and drink are essential.

72% of adults who experienced sexual abuse as a child do not tell anyone at the time of the abuse. A third of children never tell anyone about their abuse. In the last year alone, we have supported over 750 survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation.

About the role

This role of Reinvestment and Retrofit Works Project Manager is essential to improving our housing stock quality and reducing carbon emissions. Other Key Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Senior Project Manager in ensuring refurbishment/retrofit programmes meet quality and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and programme schedules.
• Overseeing the design, procurement, and delivery of refurbishment/retrofit projects.

• Managing projects and contracts for reinvestment/retrofit initiatives.

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing Decent Homes Standards , working alongside an innovative Property Services Team to improve housing for people experiencing homelessness.

To succeed you should demonstrate the below:

• Qualified in the built environment (RIBA, RICS, CIOB) with experience managing reinvestment and retrofit programmes, budgets, and stakeholders (e.g., QS, Architect, Contractor), ideally in social housing or local authority.
• Skilled in financial appraisal, risk management, value-driven efficiency, and transformational change.
• Experience in design development, environmental standards, and working with Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors, and Designers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced project management expertise or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
• Knowledge of funding applications for retrofit and decarbonisation projects, and construction/technical expertise, including JCT, Building Regulations, and related legislation.

Programmes Delivery Support (50% time)

• Provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers in delivering activities on time and within budget, including coordinating internal communication, logistics, and scheduling.

Team Leader Social Care

A growing charity are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader (Social Care) to oversee supported accommodation services, ensuring high-quality care and operational excellence.

The Role

This is a part-time permanent opportunity, working 30 hours per week on a rota basis across Monday to Sunday, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our new supported living service in the London Borough of Sutton. You will work closely with your team to provide support for adults with enduring mental ill health and complex needs.

In this key role, you will also act as Deputy to the Service Manager, leading on care quality, compliance, team performance, and service delivery. You will support your team through trauma-informed approaches and take a hands-on role in delivering support sessions. Additional hours as a Support Worker are available at £13.85/hour.

This role is not remote – we are looking for someone who can be present on site to lead by example and support their team in person.

About You

To be successful in the role of Team Leader, you will need:

• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or related subject
• Proven experience of leading a team and managing performance
• Experience delivering support services to vulnerable adults, including conducting needs and risk assessments
• A strong background in working with adults with comorbidities such as mental illness, autism, Asperger’s, and substance misuse
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce reports
