Our client, a leading London university, is looking to appoint a temporary Research Manger to lead on bid development and submission in an HSS school. Purpose of the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.
Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.
In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.
Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
- Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.
- Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.
- Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms
- Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
- Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
- Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
Design & Brand
- Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
- Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
- Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
- Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.

Graphic Design
- Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
- Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
- Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.
Recruitment
- Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
- Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
- Managing an associated programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
- Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
- To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
- Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.
Social Media
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
- Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
- Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
- Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.

Website
- Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
- Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.

Role Overview:
The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term, maternity cover role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Brixton. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. We support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. We work with them to make good applications, get the grades and transition to university. Our volunteers are trained and supported to be effective tutors who work with our students for an hour a week to raise their grades. In addition, a dedicated school-based staff member mentors the students so they have the knowledge and support to make strong university applications. Our results show this approach works.

About the role
This role is available at an important time for The Access Project as we expand our mission, seek to pilot a new programme model, and move into new school contexts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the skills for programme improvement, a strong interest in research, and a deep passion for our mission to support students to place and succeed at selective universities.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is comfortable working across teams to make change. You’ll be the lead and expert on The Access Project’s in-school university readiness work with responsibility for designing and quality assuring the provision, supporting the learning and development for our school-based staff to effectively deliver the programme content. Duties and responsibilities
1) Design & Development
- Act as a senior collaborator to the annual programme design process. Work with the Head of Process Improvement & Programme Quality to incorporate University Access Officer, Programme Leadership, school, and student feedback on how best to drive our short term and long-term outcomes across our programmes.
- Project manage the implementation of changes driven out of programme design. This includes the creation of or changes to delivery resources and training materials, as well as to our university readiness framework and the Salesforce system that supports delivery.
- Work with Programme Managers to understand their delivery challenges, develop solutions and answer questions around university admissions, widening access and The Access Project’s own University Readiness Programme.
- Act as a senior contributor to the development of The Access Project’s programmatic Diversity and Inclusion work, working closely with the University Access Officer D&I Lead. This includes strong engagement with the D&I working group and designing and implementing systems and support to better serve our students with inclusion needs.
2) Research and Policy

- Embed learning from The Access Project’s quality assurance process into our standard practice. This will include delivering training and development sessions for University Access Officers, updates to resources and guidance for what best practice looks like.

Overview / purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. No previous experience is required, just lots of passion and a motivation to pursue a long-term career in charity finance. The successful candidate will undertake training with the AAT (funded by us) towards a bookkeeping qualification alongside working as our Finance & Operations Assistant, you will be given some time to study during your working hours for this qualification.
The Finance & Operations Assistant is a central resource within CGP, working with colleagues in the Operations Team, and across the organisation to provide financial and operational support to all areas of our work. They will work closely with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to process invoices, expenses and conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are carefully adhered to. They will also support colleagues to follow our financial policies and processes and act as the first point of contact for any questions on these procedures. Finance
● Managing our accounts payable inbox, monitoring all incoming invoices and following up with team members on any missing information if required

Here at One Million Mentors, our aim is to ensure that every young person in the country has access to a trained mentor as they transition into adulthood. We believe that investing in mentors will help to address the skills gap agenda and improve social cohesion.
This is one of two Regional Manager roles in London; a Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors, and Regional Manager for Programme Delivery.
The Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors focuses on mentor supply, securing sufficient volunteers primarily for London and also for 1MM’s national outreach. The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

Providing ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Employers, and maintaining strong relationships.

Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

Terms and Conditions: This is a full time role offered in London, for 6 months (continuing subject to funding). This is a hybrid role with two days working at home, two days in the London office, and one day where it is up to you.
Remuneration and benefits: Salary bracket of £29,000 per annum plus London Weighting (pro rata), up to 6.5% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday per year (pro rata). We also offer monthly team Learning and Development training sessions, and 15 hours volunteering allowance per year.

Main Responsibilities:
- To provide facilities management to all YMCAES sites across East Surrey. This includes 5 housing schemes and one sports and community centre all owned by the YMCAES together with six family and youth centres that the YMCA lease from local authorities.
- u To manage a team of three maintenance technicians (full and part time), and facilities administration assistant and to be responsible for their training and professional development
- u To be the Health and Safety Officer for YMCAES to ensure that the organisation complies with all current legislation and to encourage good practice throughout the YMCAES.
- To be responsible for ensuring all risk assessments are up to date and accurate:
- to carry out regular building risk assessments
- where necessary support and advise staff in completion of risk assessments
- to ensure fire risk assessments are carried out in accordance with legislation and good practice
- To be responsible for the maintenance of YMCA buildings and sites. Including preparation of cyclical maintenance plans and to arrange and supervise necessary major works to be scheduled and safely carried out in accordance with the project plans.
- To be responsible for managing the online maintenance system (Pyramid) ensuring accurate recording and reporting of:
- daily reactive maintenance tasks
- planned and cyclical maintenance tasks
- all regulatory building compliance requirements.
- To manage YMCAES building contracts and to comply with the Accepting Contracts and Procurement policies and procedures.
- To be responsible for the compilation and upkeep of the preferred provider list of contractors.
- To put in place and manage a call out system for managers to respond to any emergencies relating to buildings.
- To be responsible for all ground maintenance including management of a ground maintenance worker and/or external contracts.
- u To maintain the fleet of vehicles owned by YMCAES, including insurance, tax, MOT, fuel and maintenance.
- To support HOCS for responsibility of all insurances required by the YMCAES. Ensuring compliance with legislation and efficiencies and effectiveness of all policies. Also, to ensure that necessary inspections and certification of lifts and other equipment are carried out as per requirements of insurers and current legislation.
- To provide the CEO and Head of Housing with advice and guidance around technical and regulatory requirements on YMCA property developments and acquisitions of new buildings.
To work with the HOCS to prepare a budget for central costs (buildings and vehicles) and to manage this budget through the year.
To prepare and present a report to the quarterly Governance and Risk Committee which has a remit for overseeing the organisational risk management framework, incident reporting and regulatory compliance.

DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:To manage the facilities and services that support the core functions of YMCA East Surrey (YMCAES), including maintenance across multiple sites.
To be the competent person to oversee all health and safety matters across the organisation
Hours of work:35 hours per week , Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Location : YMCA Sports and Community Centre, Redhill RH1 6JJ
Annual leave: Five weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years’ service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.

New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. The Services Manager (Day Centre) is a brand new role for the organisation. They will work as part of the existing Youth Work Team to provide vital additional capacity and expertise to respond to the significantly increased demand we have been experiencing. This role is primarily focused on delivering our frontline day centre service each week. You will spend around 2-3 days per week frontline as our Duty Manager ensuring the smooth running of the day centre. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating our weekly rota, line managing the team, overseeing our Locums, Students and Volunteers programme, supporting with donations and day centre stock, and delivering staff training . You should be passionate about supporting young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness, be able to motivate a multi-disciplinary team of staff and have the energy to problem solve in a fast-paced environment on a daily basis.
Salary: £37,024 - £41,600
