In this pivotal role, you’ll:
✨Develop and grow relationship building and stewardship strategies and programmes for existing business and major donor supporters.
✨ Manage existing corporate relationships and major donors with a view to deepen engagement and develop levels of support.

About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities:
· Assist in the coordination and delivery of public fundraising activities during emergency appeals, including managing content and materials, liaising with member agencies, and supporting with reporting and updates for senior stakeholders.
· Provide high-quality administrative support to the Fundraising and Marketing Director and wider team, including diary management, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and general team logistics.
· Help develop and deliver fundraising materials across direct marketing and digital channels, gather content, and ensure assets are approved and shared with key stakeholders.
· Maintain and update fundraising budgets, process invoices, and support post-appeal reviews with external suppliers and partners.
· Contribute to digital activities by supporting basic analytics, user journey testing, and content creation for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with opportunities to take part in digital innovation workshops.

Job Purpose:
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll directly manage four experienced team heads and oversee a high-performing team of 18 who generate bursary, unrestricted, and capital income. About Breadwinners
Breadwinners is a multi-award-winning social enterprise and charity that supports young people seeking asylum and refugees to have their first work experience in the UK, selling organic baked goods. Since 2016, we have steadily grown, and we are looking for our first Senior Fundraising Manager to help us take the next step in our growth journey. Breadwinner's unique model provides work, training and personal mentors, so that young refugees can start and progress in their careers, using our platform as a stepping stone. We achieve this goal through three consecutive programmes, using our award-winning bread stalls in markets across London and Brighton and wholesale for socially-minded cafes and restaurants.
Over the last 7 years, we have made a significant impact in supporting over 744+ programme participants, with an impressive 93% reporting notable improvements in their overall well-being, 76% of our Breadwinners programme participants progress into work, further education or volunteering, and all this while minimising our Carbon Footprint by 20.5% through the sale of organic goods. This year, we are planning to double our impact with young refugees, with recently secured funding, new markets, and a focus on our wholesale model.

About the role:
To support the charity’s income generation and stewardship of donors by working with the fundraising and events teams. There are a variety of annual special events that include but are not restricted to: Annual Charity Dinner, Armistice Address, Carol Service and Clay Shoot as well as Open Days, virtual events, AGM and the Secret Postcard Auction. To further support other fundraising teams in the logistics, stewardship and administration of events, activities, data management and input and donor engagement tasks.
Key responsibilities:

Salary and benefits: £50,000 per annum, pro rata + generous 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays + Contributory Pension Scheme (5% of pay)

A proven experience of fundraising and/or communications work in a values-led organisation.

A strong track record of securing income from a range of sources, including trusts/foundations, individual giving and/or legacy giving.

Experience of developing and delivering fundraising strategies and campaigns that are ethical, inclusive and effective

The ability to produce engaging, accessible communications and marketing materials.

Experience of working alongside people with lived experience in the co-design or co-production of fundraising or communications activity.
