About us
Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Legacy Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacies team.
We support over 16,000 young people each year by providing accommodation, health support and life skills to help them move on from homelessness. Our ambition is to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Our fundraising teams play a vital role in making this happen, with legacy giving forming an increasingly important part of our long-term, sustainable income.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering Centrepoint’s growing legacy programme, helping to generate over £2.5m annually and supporting our wider fundraising ambitions.
You’ll lead on the development and delivery of impactful legacy marketing campaigns, inspiring supporters to leave a gift in their Will and helping to build meaningful, long-term relationships.
Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll create compelling supporter journeys, use insight and data to drive performance, and manage agency relationships to deliver high-quality, multi-channel campaigns.
This role can be based in either our London or Manchester office.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns (direct mail, digital, telemarketing and paid media)
- Developing and optimising supporter journeys to increase engagement and legacy pledges
- Using data, insight and a test-and-learn approach to improve campaign performance
- Managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers
- Collaborating with internal teams including Data & Insight, Communications and Supporter Care
- Monitoring budgets and ensuring campaigns deliver against KPIs
- Supporting the development of in-memory giving products and stewardship approaches
About you
We’re looking for a creative and data-driven fundraiser who understands the sensitivity and impact of legacy giving.
You will have:
- Experience in legacy, direct marketing or relationship fundraising
- Strong knowledge of supporter journeys and campaign delivery
- Experience managing external agencies and delivering campaigns end-to-end
- The ability to analyse data and translate insight into action
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for innovation

ABOUT THE ROLE
Team: Fundraising and Supporter Engagement, Philanthropy and Partnerships team
As the Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will join a motivated, passionate and supportive fundraising team. You will work closely with specialists across all areas of fundraising and, supported by our Philanthropy Manager, you will take the lead on managing relationships with high value funders who support the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
In this role, you will lead on developing strong strategic relationships with Trusts and Foundations and high value supporters. You will create clear and engaging funding proposals, that involve multiple stakeholders and deliver face-to-face presentations when required. A key part of your work will be developing relationship building strategies and creating tailored funder experiences.
Your contribution will help secure long-term funding and strengthen the impact of the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the stewardship of high value funders and provide clear, consistent and meaningful engagement.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with major Trusts and Foundations to build long-term partnerships.
- Lead on securing significant grant income by creating compelling proposals at the five and six figure level.
- Carry out proactive prospect research to identify new funding opportunities and strengthen the funding pipeline.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing compelling proposals and impact reports, thinking creatively, problem solving and putting themselves in the shoes of our high-value funders.
ABOUT YOU

- Proven experience of securing new income and building partnerships through cold approaches to Trusts and Foundations or other high value donors.
- Experience of producing persuasive high-value proposals and impact-focused reports for new and existing Trust and Foundations and high value donor supporters.
- Experience of developing stewardship/relationship building strategies and creating tailored donor experiences.
- Proven experience of managing high-value funder/donor relationships
- The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.

Magpas Air Ambulance are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Philanthropy Officer to join their growing Philanthropy team to cover a 12 month period of maternity leave. The role will work across Trusts, Foundations and individuals moving them through the philanthropy giving cycle; identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and recognition.
Magpas Air Ambulance brings the very best pre-hospital emergency care, in the air or on land, including treatments usually available in a hospital. In 2025, we experienced our busiest year on record, our lifesaving service is in continued and growing demand, we need a dedicated and ambitious Senior Philanthropy Officer to help us deliver our plans to raise vital funds from philanthropic audiences.
Role Summary:
- Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of funders and donors including trusts, foundations and major donors to meet financial and non-financial targets
- Maximise income through the development of co-ordinated stewardship and relationship management
- Produce compelling proposals, reports, and presentations. and deliver inspiring base tours.
- Source funding for specific projects and work programmes, as well as core costs
- Manage an opportunity pipeline, research and identify new prospects
- Report progress against financial and non financial KPI’s on a monthly basis
- Support the Philanthropy Manager with strategic projects to build and develop philanthropy at Magpas Air Ambulance
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a philanthropy or fundraising relationship management role, within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- Strong track record in securing and managing philanthropic donors and building long-term relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with Trusts and Foundations, HNWI’s, Trustees and Senior volunteers.
- Experience in managing donor portfolios and opportunity pipelines.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple applications/relationships simultaneously
- Full driving licence with own transport

About the role
As Senior Face-to-Face Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our direct marketing strategy. You’ll deliver inspiring training presentations to our agency face-to-face fundraisers as well as cultivating our relationships with external agency partners.
You’ll be central in creating and developing our training materials, involving networking with our operational team of world class doctors and paramedics as well as our pilots and fire crew.
You’ll have an awareness of the fundraising regulations enabling you to effectively monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns, ensuring donor recruitment targets are met and to a high standard.
