This is an exciting new role created as part of a significant investment in legacy fundraising. You will play a key role in delivering a new, integrated legacy acquisition campaign designed to grow the number of supporters considering leaving a gift in their Will, while also increasing broader consideration of giving.

As a Senior Legacy Acquisition Officer, you will lead the delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement of a new integrated legacy acquisition campaign.
You will manage activity end to end, from initial briefing and campaign launch through to testing, optimisation and evaluation, working closely with internal teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Delivering an integrated legacy acquisition campaign across TV, digital, radio, print and other channels.
• Managing campaigns from briefing and launch through to ongoing review, testing and optimisation.
• Developing and delivering annual test plans to improve campaign performance.
• Managing campaign budgets, timelines and quality standards.
• Growing the number of quality legacy hand raisers year-on-year and meeting agreed acquisition and cost-per-hand-raiser targets.
• Supporting increased consideration of leaving a gift in a Will and broader consideration of giving.
• Ensuring legacy acquisition activity integrates effectively with wider brand, fundraising and supporter engagement activity.
• Developing an excellent supporter and enquirer journey, ensuring a supporter first approach throughout.
• Producing regular performance updates and quarterly impact reports for senior leadership.
• Working collaboratively with legacy, stewardship, supporter engagement, brand and supporter care colleagues.
• Ensuring legacy messaging and supporter journeys align with wider brand positioning and fundraising propositions.

You will have:
• Proven experience delivering integrated fundraising or marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including TV.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing campaigns end-to-end.
• A good understanding of fundraising and acquisition principles, including KPIs, testing and optimisation.
• Experience working with external agencies, such as creative, media and/or telemarketing suppliers.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with confidence managing campaign activity and data.
• Experience using data and insight to monitor performance, identify opportunities and improve results.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief agencies and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
• Experience developing compelling, audience-led creative or campaign communications.
• Experience developing and implementing campaign test plans and working against clear hypotheses.
• Confidence producing campaign reports and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• An understanding of the importance of tone, trust and supporter experience within legacy fundraising.
• A positive, collaborative approach and the ability to turn strategy into well-run, effective campaigns.
Experience of legacy fundraising, gifts in Wills or long-term supporter engagement would be advantageous, as would experience developing telemarketing scripts, FAQs and supporter materials, and using brand or consideration tracking to measure attitudinal change.

We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Officer to join the Mass Participation Team of a fantastic, well-known Children’s Charity, for a 12 month FTC.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate multi-channel fundraising marketing campaigns, helping to drive supporter recruitment, engagement and income across Third Party Events, Schools Fundraising and DIY fundraising.

We’re looking for an audience-focused marketer with experience delivering campaigns across digital, social, content, email, paid media and offline channels, ideally within the charity/not-for-profit sector. You’ll be confident using insight and performance data to shape activity, improve supporter experience and deliver ambitious participation targets.

Key details:

• 12-month contract
• £34,582–£38,425 per annum, plus applicable location/homeworking allowances.

Plus London Weighting Allowance- £3,366 (1 day a week minimum in the office)

OR £500 a year home allowance

• Central London Office (Shoreditch area), hybrid or home working options available
• Occasional travel required to support major mass participation events, such as the London Marathon, approximately three times a year

Role:   Senior Events and Community Fundraising Officer 

Reports to:Events and Community Fundraising Manager

Event organisers, challenge providers, fundraising platforms, suppliers, volunteers and supporters 

External stakeholders: 

Supporters, volunteers, agencies, service providers 

Scope of the role

You will manage and successfully deliver key events including the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon, as well as third party and DIY challenge fundraising. You’ll lead on supporter recruitment and stewardship to meet or exceed agreed targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track, as well as maintaining accurate supporter data. You’ll also support on the delivery of Community and Virtual challenge fundraising, including our flagship challenge, Walk in Her Name. 

1)Support planning and delivery of the Events programme

i) Support recruitment, engagement and retention across our event portfolio including London Marathon, Great North Run, London Landmarks as well as third party and DIY challenges to meet or exceed agreed income and engagement targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track. 

ii) Responsible for the OCA London Marathon team from sign-up to post-race including delivery of training and fundraising support, on the day cheer point and post-race celebration activities.

iii) Attend events as required. 

iv) Support the team Manager to plan and deliver virtual challenges, including our flagship event, Walk in Her Name and Walk 100, working collaboratively across the team to maximise supporter experience and campaign performance. 

2) Manage delivery of Community Fundraising

i) Manage delivery of community fundraising and engagement

ii) Support the team manager to explore and identify new opportunities for growth.

3) Provide excellent supporter care across the events and community portfolio

i) Deliver excellent supporter care across Events and Community fundraising, ensuring every supporter receives timely, helpful and inspiring communications throughout their fundraising journey

ii) Monitor event performance and supporter feedback, sharing and deploying insight to improve stewardship journeys, recruitment activity and future planning 

iii) Work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, Finance and Database teams to deliver integrated, supporter-led activity.

4) Provide excellent administrative support

i) Manage and track event budgets, income and expenditure, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting and post-campaign evaluation.

ii) Maintain accurate supporter and financial records across Raiser’s Edge and fundraising platforms, including data coding, income coding and administrative processes to support excellent supporter care

iii) Ensure all events and fundraising activity is delivered in line with Ovarian Cancer Action’s processes, fundraising best practice, GDPR requirements and relevant legislation.

What experience we're looking for

• Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering a successful events portfolio, challenge events and / or community fundraising activity.
• Understanding of recruiting supporters to events across organic and paid channels.
• Track record of providing excellent supporter care - motivating supporters to achieve agreed goals
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow agreed processes.
• Familiar with using a CRM database - ideally Raiser’s Edge.
• Experience of tracking and reporting against budgets and targets.
• A working knowledge of fundraising platforms, online giving pages or event registration systems.

Skills And Attributes:

• Confident relationship builder with strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with supporters.
• Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills, and able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Accurate attention to detail, particularly when working with financial information, supporter records and reporting processes.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and digital fundraising tools, with a willingness to learn and use new systems and AI tools.

Additional details

Salary: Between £32,000 to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Contract type: This is a fixed term contract of 12 months.

Role type:This is a full-time role, however, we’re open to a variety of working patterns and welcome the opportunity to discuss this with candidates. Senior Operations & Fundraising Support Officer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Operations & Fundraising Support Officer to join a well-established charity on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is a varied and hands-on role, combining operations, project coordination, CRM administration and fundraising support. You'll play a key role in keeping the organisation running smoothly, supporting internal projects, maintaining accurate CRM data and providing excellent supporter and donor administration. The fundraising element accounts for around one day per week, with the majority of the role focused on operations and project support.

George Watson’s College wishes to appoint a Senior Philanthropy Officer to lead the school’s individual giving and legacy fundraising initiatives, and support major programmes and campaigns. Develop strong relationships with donors and our alumni community to grow philanthropic income and long-term engagement. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Individual Giving 

• Lead the planning, execution and optimisationof individualgiving efforts.Manage campaign setup, timelines, assets, and donor experience. 

• Monitor performance and analyse results to drive continuous improvement in participation, engagement, and revenue. 

• Collaborate withAdmissions and Marketing,and other internal teams, to source and develop compelling content.

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

Essential: 

• Relevant degree, professionalqualificationor equivalent professional experience 

• Demonstrable experience in Individual Giving, Direct Marketing or Legacy fundraising, with an annual income return of 6+ figures 

• Proventrack recordof delivering successful multi-channel campaigns 

• Strong understanding of supporter journeys,acquisitionand retention 

• Skilled in data analysis, performancetrackingand forecasting 

• Proficiencywith graphic design tools, experience with Canvawould be an advantage. 

• Demonstrable experience withRaisers Edge, or similar CRMsystem
