EDUCATION FOR ALL MOROCCO transforms the lives of marginalised girls, in the High Atlas mountains, enabling them to fulfil their potential, reducing social injustice and inequalities, improving the quality of life for women, and their communities.
Prior to the Al Haouz earthquake in September 2023 EFA funded six boarding houses, enabling young women to access senior school education. Five boarding houses were destroyed. Astonishingly, no girls or staff were in them at the time.
We are unashamedly ambitious to build on EFAs transformational work over the last two decades. Our Covid Recovery Strategy focussed on widening our impact, and the earthquake has just made us even more determined to deliver on our promise, because we have never been more relevant.
Due to the extraordinary generosity of donors, we have funding in place to support a major rebuilding programme. However we don't want to simply rebuild. Due to covid and the earthquake there is a lot of catching up to do.
As Head of Fundraising & Communications you will work with the trustees to deliver the strategic vision, by developing and implementing a successful fundraising and communications strategy. A new website is under construction and the successful applicant will play a leading role in determining its fundraising functionality, content, and messaging.

In a typical month you’ll:
-Plan, execute, fundraising events and campaigns, attend conferences, develop compelling social media stories.
-Undertake research, identify new funding opportunities, write donor proposals, complete donor grant applications.
-Liaise with Moroccan partners, co-ordinate marketing, and fundraising activities.
-Work with donors, developing a range of benefits, events, and engagement opportunities.
-Working with trustees, prepare a monthly update report.
-Manage administrative and compliance tasks including a budget, logging donor communications into the database etc.
-Evaluate the impact and update policies and procedures.
Position: Head of Fundraising & Communications
Responsible: to Deputy Chair Finance Committee
Location: remote, withoccasional meetings in London. An annual strategy weekend in Marrakech in November.
Hours: 35 hrs per week (compressed).
Salary: £40,000 £42,000 per annum.

EDUCATION FOR ALL MOROCCO has been fundrasing for over two decades, to enable girls living in the High Atlas mountains to access fulltime education, by providing boarding accomodation near to their senior schools. As Finance & Operations Administrator you will have a key role to play working closely with the trustees and Head of Fundraising & Communications to co-ordinate activities, to ensure day to day operations in the UK run smoothly.
The role as advertised covers a broad range of activities. However there will be peaks and troughs of workload.
This job is for you if you are:
- A qualified accountant or bookkeeper with experience of Xero ideal (training can be provided).
- Confident working with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) & Shared drive (eg, GoogleDocs).
- Comfortable working with a variety of IT packages, or learning how to do so
- Very organised, able to take the initiative, able to work independently.
- Experienced working in a small but ambitious organisation, or are confident you can adapt to such an environment

In a typical month you’ll:
- Support the Chair of Finance; preparing monthly accounts. Processing receipts and payments for bank reconciliation; invoices and expense claims. Filing finance documentation. Maintian the restricted v unrestricted donation records, Gift Aid schedules, HMRC returns.
- Support the Head of Fund Raising and Communications, liaising with donors (sending receipts, requests for information), researching potential donors, preparing grant applications, ordering brochures and marketing information. Acting as a day to day point of contact.
- Support the Chair and Vice Chair of Trustees; helping to prepare and distribute monthly meeting agendas, supporting papers, co-ordinating virtual meeting schedule, drafting and distributing minutes, .-
- Support the Chair of Governance ensuring Trustee and Staff Handbooks (policies and protocols), risk register, are uptodate and accessible via the website portal. Lead the administration process for the recruitment of trustees and staff, including the preparation of candidate packs, advertising, induction. Oversight of the EFA Partnership Agreements.
- Support the Chair of Educaton re liaison with relevant external auditors (safeguarding, health and safety, risk). Linking with Moroccan partners to agree on timing and arrangements for audit visits. Ensuring reports are available to trustees as agreed.
- General ad hoc support to trustees, staff and external stakeholders as required.

Purpose
This is a vital role sitting as part of the Senior leadership team at Hope and contributing to the future sustainability and development of Hope.
The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of Income Generation and manage the commissioned projects which Hope run.
Developing a long term sustainable income generation portfolio you will have responsibility for your own income generation and manage the fundraising team to deliver their financial targets, motivating and monitoring them to achieve success.
Our current income generation activity currently generates around £1.2million per annum and it is the post holders responsibility to grow this income to achieve £1.5million per annum in the next 5 years to ensure Hope can achieve it’s newly launched Operational Strategy.
There is also a likely a facility move in the future, where the Head of Development would need to access funds, in addition to operational budget, for a facility transformation project.
As Line Manager for Hope’s commissioned projects you will have overall responsibility to deliver on the contracts for which we have been commissioned and identify growth potential for the organisation.
Responsibilities
- To Manage all aspects of income generation at Hope.
- To deliver a diverse fundraising portfolio to ensure long-term sustainability.
- To lead a small team of fundraisers and work with the Marketing Manager to achieve income levels as determined by the CEO and Board of trustees.
- To Line Manage and lead on all commissioned work, people recruited and project management.
- To be responsible for all reporting related to grants, trusts and/commissioned work.
- To be part of both Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Senior Management Team (SMT), helping set the strategic direction for the organisation and ensuring it is implemented effectively.
Leadership:
- To develop and deliver a Fundraising Strategy and associated annual Fundraising Plans to achieve income levels that enable Hope to fulfil its Strategic Framework priorities 2024-2029.
- To work with CEO and our new ‘finance sub-group’ to develop and oversee our budget and forecasting process, agreeing targets, providing realistic profiles, understanding the seasonality of income, and highlighting risks.
- Identify new opportunities for income generation and deliver an agile approach to trends in fundraising and changes in society giving.
- Lead the commissioned program teams to achieve the desired outcomes.
Management:
- Lead a small team of dedicated Fundraising Senior Coordinators to access funds to ensure the ongoing delivery of Hopes Homeless, Hunger and Hardship priorities.
- To manage 1:1 meeting, annual appraisals.
- To manage all posts associated with commissioned project’s sitting outside our core objectives,
- To ensure that the values of Hope are embedded across all the work we do.
- To engage and maintain relationships with volunteers to support and enhance the work of the fundraising team.
Partnerships:
- To be an ambassador for Hope in the community, showcasing the work we do across Northamptonshire to facilitate fundraising opportunities to fulfil your personal fundraising objectives and those of the wider team.

Fundraising
- Work closely with Marketing Manager to ensure a clear public donation pathway exists linking to website, social media, events promotion, and any other marketing- tracking success of each communication approach at increasing income.
- To manage all grants and trusts contracts from application to reporting and ongoing engagements.
- Lead on major donor, VIP and legacy events to ensure further income opportunities.
- To manage all commissioned projects from application, to oversight of project delivery, including management of posts recruited to reporting and ongoing engagement.
- Lead any future capital fundraising appeals for new of existing facilities.
General:
- To be an active and effective member of the Senior Leadership team and ambassador for the work of the organisation, our strategic framework 2024-2029 and our values in all you do.
- To work some hours outside of normal office hours (including evenings and weekends).

Bike rides, Sponsored runs, sponsored abseiling, charity balls etc) when comparing to running the portfolio of events in-house for just Hope”

The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.

English fluency is a must.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Given the rarity of the disease, patients can often go through their entire treatment and recovery without meeting another patient, so external support is vital.
Over the last 4 years, our Support & Information Service has seen significant growth, and developed to become a leading source of support for patients, family members, siblings and friends of patients. Our Support & Information team provide enduring support and ensure that this can be accessed at any point in a primary bone cancer journey and by anyone affected.
Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service. The Support & Information Officer will play a pivatol role in achieving this through building lasting relationships with both patients and families and healthcare professionals.
They will assist in all aspects of the Bone Cancer Research Trust's Support & Information Service, including the organisation and delivery of virtual support groups, the administration of the Charity's financial grants, the distribution of information resources and the administration of our digital groups. They will also have the opportunity to lead on the delivery of our regional in-person ‘Get-Togethers’, which bring the primary bone cancer community together to gain peer to peer support.The successful candidate will also play an important role in the continuous development of the Service, ensuring that impact is measured and feedback is acted upon.

The role of the Support Officer within the Money Advice Team is to support clients who contact the office by email or telephone, offering them initial advice and support with welfare benefits, money management and emergency food, and referring to other organisations. In addition, the role involves general administrative tasks such as responding to emails and messages, creating client records, and arranging appointments with Advisers.
Responsibilities and Duties
Advice work and support

Triage people referred to the foodbank via Scottish Welfare Fund, and those who contact EFP directly, including information gathering, benefit checks, referrals for energy support and emergency food

Signpost people to external agencies and partner organisations

Create client records using Advice Pro, including verifying client information for accuracy and make amendments when necessary, ensuring people are aware of how their data is stored and used (GDPR)

Form completion with clients – for example Social Welfare Fund crisis and community grants

Attend training relevant to the post
Admin support

Create debt packs to be sent to people, including creating template letters and ensuring documents are accurate and up to date and completion of income and expenditure forms

You will give advice and information to carers and work closely with them to develop person centred support plans. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SLT
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time (21-28 hours per week). Additional hours may sometime be required, particularly for Trustee meetings, and can be taken as Time Off In Lieu.
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the SLT will facilitate all the charity’s governance requirements. Activities will primarily focus on Trustee meetings, Committees and Management team meetings, but will include policy administration and all other aspects of corporate governance and company secretariat. The post will also form part of newly-formed HR function within the charity.
The EA to the SLT will be a key role in giving the charity the capacity and expertise it needs to grow in a well-governed and responsible yet ambitious way.
