Job Summary

To manage talent acquisition for the Museum, working with hiring managers to plan and deliver effective campaigns to fill each role with the best possible candidate.  To manage and develop a range of materials and systems to support talent acquisition activity.
 

Main responsibilities

• Be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment pipeline across the Museum (around 150 campaigns per year)
• Work with the HR Business Partners to understand and predict resourcing needs and plan future hiring needs
• Be responsible for the Museum’s candidate marketing materials including the careers site, developing content and working with the Digital team to ensure content is updated regularly
• Work with hiring managers to plan and deliver tailored recruitment campaigns for each role
• Undertake focused research and campaign planning for hard-to-fill and specialist roles to ensure they are filled with appropriately qualified candidates
• Keep abreast of best practice and new developments in talent acquisition, testing and learning new ideas and methodologies to improve our approach
• Liaise with the HR Administrators to ensure vacancies are posted as needed and candidates are moved through the recruitment pipeline.  Administer an allocation of campaigns where required during peak periods

• Significant experience as an in-house recruiter with a successful track record of hiring into key roles
• Experience of a broad range of assessment methodologies and deploying these to select the best candidates for each role
• Experience of developing and implementing assessments against behaviour frameworks
• Experience of coaching hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment campaigns

We are Chance to Shine: a children’s charity dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.

It is our mission that all young people have the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket. We want them to learn a love of the game and to find a sense of belonging through the sport, developing their wider wellbeing and life skills to help fulfil their potential.

Established in 2005, we have a long-term track record of delivery in state schools and under-served communities, bringing best-in-class cricket programmes to young people aged 5 to 24 who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play. All our programmes are completely free for everyone involved, from schools and community groups to young people and their families.

2. Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a full time (37.5hrs per week) Executive and Office Assistant to support the Finance and Resources team at Chance to Shine. The Finance and Resources team provide day to day support to all departments in the charity and trading subsidiary, Chance to Shine Enterprises Ltd, around finance, office, governance, HR and general administration. The role is expected to be largely in person in our central London office.

3. Key Responsibilities

The Executive and Office Assistant’s responsibilities are in three areas:

Office Administration:

· Act as ‘front of house’ for visitors and guests and be first point of contact for telephone enquiries and ensure the office space is fully operational.

· Monitor the charity inbox and respond to general enquiries.

· Oversee and monitor the Office and Administration budget.

· Liaise with the office landlord, regarding the general office space, car-parking, meeting rooms and staff access. 

· Help manage offsite storage space.

· Administer IT support processes, first point of contact for IT support issues and managing IT supplier contracts; and administering staff IT requirements.

· Maintain up to date shared document area on sharepoint.

· Act as Health and Safety Officer responsible for all Health and Safety matters, and attend training as necessary.

· Ad hoc support at Chance to Shine events, such as fundraisers, media events and competitions.

HR Support

· Administrative support to the HR Manager for HR processes, including drafting letters, maintaining employee records and recruitment processes.

· Support the induction of new employees to CTS.

· Support the HR Manager with administering staff benefits, organisational training and annual appraisal process.

About the Role
As HR Project Admin (Flexible Workforce), you will play a key role in supporting the national flexible staffing model. You’ll be responsible for coordinating temporary worker recruitment, managing workforce records, and helping ensure compliance across all casual staffing processes. Working closely with hiring managers, external agencies and the HR and Finance teams, your work will help ensure effective and cost-conscious staffing across services.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a major operational transformation project, gain exposure to senior leaders, and develop valuable HR and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Support recruitment and onboarding of bank and agency staff, including compliance and document checks

· Coordinate and monitor the use of the workforce system (CentralAxis), ensuring managers and workers are fully trained

· Maintain accurate and confidential workforce records in line with GDPR and data protection standards

· Support budget monitoring and reporting on staffing ratios, costs, and agency usage

· Help prepare reports, dashboards and presentations on flexible workforce activity

· Resolve staffing issues including absence, rota conflicts and performance concerns, escalating as needed

· Provide general admin support to the HR and project teams, including scheduling meetings, organising files, and minuting key sessions

About You

This is a new, senior role at the Fair Education Alliance that will shape and lead our regional collaboration model. You will report into, and work closely with Gina Cicerone, Co-CEO. 

You will lead the implementation of FEA’s regional place-based collaboration approach. This includes overseeing the establishment of three deep, regional partnerships with combined authorities to enable cross-sector innovation and collaboration to improve outcomes for children and young people. You will lead on the creation of the core components of this model, reviewing and adapting as the work develops, working with FEA members, local leaders and young people to drive equity in education and employment outcomes. Each deep partnership will have its own Head of Region, to co-direct this work alongside you and a small central team. 

You will also be responsible for leading a peer network, enabling shared learning across combined authorities and utilising their collective insights to shape national policy and practice.

Responsibilities

The role holder will report to the Head of Advocacy and Regulatory Affairs who is looking for an individual to:

Ø Support the delivery and oversight of ABCUL’s key product and service development initiatives.

Ø Plan, execute, and oversee product and service development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and within budget.

Ø Managing and coordinating resources, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with the organisations goals.

Ø Monitor performance, mitigate risks, and provide progress reports to the Senior Leadership Team

Ø Proven experience in product and service development or project management, with a strong track record of delivering successful development initiatives

Strong communication skills in writing and verbally will be required along with an organised approach to managing information. Education to degree level or equivalent experience is expected.

The Finance Assistant will support the Senior Finance Manager and Finance and Operations Director. They will be responsible for all aspects of sale, purchase and nominal ledger, credit control, payments and various reconciliations. General management account duties will also be required

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the shared inbox and respond to queries to internal and external contacts in a timely and courteous manner.
• Log purchase invoices into the finance system and request authorisation from budget holders, ensuring that documentation is complete and correct.
• Issue all sales invoices and maintain funders invoicing schedule.
• Request and reconcile supplier statements.
• Ensure finance policies are followed for the set-up of new customers and suppliers.
• Support internal team with expense reimbursements, including maintaining the expenses software and relevant reconciliations. Follow up on missing documentation or evidence of non-compliance.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and issue remittance advices.
• Issue statements to customers and regular credit control activities.
• Check ledgers for missing costs. Identify and resolve missing costs or discrepancies in ledgers.
• Complete reconciliations to ensure payments are allocated and accounted for correctly.
• Reconciliations between the Salesforce and accounting system Assist with month-end and other management accounts functions.
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks, such as posting journals, payroll and annual audit.

Experience

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role in a not-for profit organisation.
• Experience of maintaining records, finance and administrative systems.
• Experience in charity accounting principles.
• Experience of coding purchase invoices and requesting authorisation from signatories.

Working Conditions: Limited travel will be required for attending meetings or events within the UK.
