About the role

This is a new role which will help to deliver a pilot strategy to grow long-term sustainable income by enhancing Breast Cancer Now’s on-the-ground presence locally.

Joining the relationship fundraising team and working closely with the high value partnerships team, this role is responsible for cultivating new long-term relationships and, in turn, driving fundraising income.

Uniquely, the post holder will help to implement a large-scale trial to further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m. The goal is to grow both engagement and future income by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores in their local area.

In addition, this role will establish and grow a portfolio of supporters in the northwest by cultivating relationships with new and warm supporters including individuals, clubs, societies and local companies. It will also line manage two community fundraisers based in Scotland. 

What’s special about this role is that you’ll be working alongside a supportive, innovative and fun team which has delivered continued growth in fundraising over the last five years.

The is the first time the charity has had a community fundraiser locally based in the northwest. It is one of five new roles being introduced as part of the pilot, and the goal is that they all become permanent. 

About you 

You’re a pro at cultivating long term relationships with a variety of new supporters to generate income, and have great community fundraising experience working with individuals, local companies and clubs and societies.

You’re proactive and can work in a flexible and agile way; perhaps you’ve helped to deliver successful pilots in the past. You’re solution focused and experienced in developing and delivering ideas to grow income and engagement in the short and long term.

With great communication skills, you’re a team player and love working independently as well as part of a large team with various stakeholders.

Primary location of role and hybrid working

This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in Manchester, Liverpool or the surrounding area. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as to our offices in London, Sheffield and Glasgow.

Job Title: Senior Support Coach

Location: Redbridge (Around a 10 minute walk from Gants Hill station) Based in service with occasional travel to Central office (Please kindly note that unfortunately both locations do not have step free access)

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. Our support is tailored towards providing person centred support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and independent living. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, flexible, inclusive, and psychologically informed environment that promotes dignity, choice, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities further Include:

• Delivering effective 1:1 and group-based support for residents/participants in line with support plans
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to the team and residents
• Acting as the first point of contact in the absence of management

About You

You will have a commitment to person-centred support and have an understanding of the importance of trauma-informed care, able to lead by example.

You’ll work closely with The Royal Marsden hospital staff, fundraisers, and communications teams to support a wide range of projects—from psychological support services to early-phase drug development.

You’ll also:

· Administer grant-funded projects such as Pre-doctoral Fellowships and Quality Improvement initiatives.

The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK is seeking to recruit an experienced statistician to provide six-months maternity leave cover.

The successful candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of data collection, management and analysis with proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The appointed individual will play a pivotal role in the development of quality processes and managing data to support reporting, research activities and associated publications. 

Key responsibilities

• Using good technical skills to explore, manage and report on data, including being competent with a range of data analysis software
• Contributing to the development of Federation systems and processes for quality purposes
• Analysing and presenting findings data in a clear, user-friendly manner
• Delivering data analysis components of the Federation EDI Action Plan and quality management reporting
• Delivering tasks required by the R&D Oversight Group and associated committees
• Contribute to the drafting and presentation of results for external audiences

Requirements

• Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in a discipline requiring substantive data investigation and analysis techniques, such as mathematics or statistics

Grant-making is central to GiveOut’s mission of growing giving to support LGBTQI human rights activism globally.   • Represent GiveOut’s grant-making programme externally at events, including occasional evening engagements.

  • Coordinate logistics for grant partner engagements, including developing itineraries, supporting travel arrangements, and ensuring smooth communication with donors and other stakeholders.

• Grant-Making Strategy and Programme Implementation

  • Help shape the design and execution of GiveOut’s grant-making programme 

  • Ensure GiveOut’s Grant-Making Policy and guidance remain up to date with best practices in grant-making and is responsive to the needs of the global LGBTQI movement.

  • Work with the Grant-Making Advisory Panel (GMAP) to identify and assess new grant partners, and coordinate annual GMAP meetings.

• Grant Portfolio Development and Management

  • Develop an annual portfolio of grants, balancing renewals and new partnerships, and collaborate with the Executive Director to present to the Board for approval.

  • Conduct due diligence on grant partners, draft grant agreements, and manage payment processes.

  • Monitor and evaluate partnerships, coordinating narrative and financial reporting to track progress and impact.

  • Maintain and update the grant partner database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, flexible, inclusive, and psychologically informed environment that promotes dignity, choice, and empowerment.
