About the role
You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns and leading a strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. And you’ll make it as easy as possible for supporters to choose the way they want to give. You’ll be part of a team that champions and supports each other, and is innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve our annual income target of over £5 million.
Focusing on high volume donations under £1000. We use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution.
What you’ll do
- Support the Individual Giving Manager to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure and use database analysis to inform the individual giving programme.
- Plan, create and manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and lead a strategic area of fundraising to secure donations
- Work with the Individual Giving Officers, delegating work and championing their development. There may also be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer.
- Monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience of managing Individual Giving or direct marketing activity with substantial income and expenditure budgets.
- Proven success in donor or customer acquisition and retention through direct marketing.

About this key role

Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering income at or above the agreed budget level from corporate relationships and activities as agreed within the annual budget and business plan
- Leading on identifying and securing new business and establish a strong pipeline of prospective corporate partners, that will deliver six figure income targets year on year
- Creating effective cases for support on our work and impact
- Contributing to our overall income generation and implementation of the Corporate Partnership team’s objectives

The role
The communications manager will play a central role in enhancing B Lab UK’s credibility by leveraging our corporate milestones, data, insights, partnerships and public affairs work to reach priority audiences. You will work closely with our campaigns team to influence policymakers and develop thought-leadership to make a compelling case for an alternative to business as usual. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising B Lab UK’s press office function, including monitoring and responding to reputational risk across the B Corp movement.
Primary responsibilities

Drive the delivery of core components of the communication strategy, specifically owning our corporate communications, press office and acting as the first port of call for media issues management

Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing regional Hospice, with Head Office based in Surrey area.
- This role can be either Full-Time (37.5 hours a week) or Part-Time (30 hours a week).

As the Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, you will work with the Community and Events Lead, and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the community and events fundraising plans and activities. We are on the lookout for a fantastic Events Project Manager to help our healthcare client on an interim basis for a 6-month contract role.
The post holder will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering one their biggest annual events and ensuring the project is completed according to the allocated budget and timeline.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Assume the lead operational role on the project and develop, oversee and manage the end-to-end project plan for the award scheme and event.
- Launch and manage the nomination process internally and externally.
- Manage and lead the judging panel process.
- Plan and execute the award ceremony event including: administration of invitations and management of the attendee list; scope and book the venue and finalise the contract including audio visual arrangements; confirm catering requirements, logistics, entertainment and table decoration; agree the event programme and speakers.
- Work closely with the small project team to lead the project, problem solve and ensure that tasks are delivered on budget and to the desired timescale.
- Negotiate and effectively manage relationships with the venue and suppliers.

What’s on offer:
