As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. In addition you will develop appeals and communications that engage and inform supporters which help to raise more voluntary income.
Directly supporting the Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager and working closely with all of the Supporter Engagement team it would be beneficial if you have previous experience or an interest in Fundraising. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.

The Role
To join a friendly, open team and support the Acquisition Manager and work alongside another Senior DM Officer.
Develop and deliver the media acquisition strategy, taking ownership of multiple campaigns across DRTV, Press, inserts and outdoor.
Deliver annual portfolio of acquisition campaigns, all the way from proposal and concept stage to evaluation, across a range of media. Budget managing campaigns ranging from £40-100k budgets.
Breathe innovation throughout your campiagns and proactively support the curlture of learning and development.
Monitor data requirements for acquisition campaigns ensuring that logistically campaigns run smoothly and are analysed continually to improve ROI and LTV.
The Candidate
1 years+ experience in one of the channels DRTV, Press, Inserts or outdoor.
Proven experience of DM campaign management ideally including developing new creative approaches, and sourcing, managing,negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
Experience of writing fundraising/direct marketing copy.
Experience of managing large expenditure budgets.

Engagement Officer tasks and requirements:
- Growing and developing our network of referral partners, including social prescribers and link workers, ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to people aged 75+ who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness.
- Utilise Re-engage's CRM (OPUS) to inform evidence-based, data-driven decision-making to develop effective engagement plans.
- Working closely with the service delivery team ensuring that the right people are recruited and engaged into the right roles, in the right place, and at the right times.
- Collaborating with the communications team to support the widest possible publicity for the charity’s needs through media and social media opportunities, local press, radio, TV, and online forums.
- Liaising closely with the fundraising team delivering against recruitment targets linked to grants and supporting them with persuasive proposals and grant applications, using acquired national knowledge and collecting case studies.
- Identifying speaking and presenting opportunities ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to referrers.

About the role
As Senior Health Officer: Knowledge Management and Communication, you will be responsible for the knowledge management and MEAL functions for the health team. Established success in coaching managers and leaders on various HR matters is essential to this role, empowering them to manage risk, resolve conflict, support their team members to excel at work, and foster cohesion and trust within a hybrid workforce. The postholder will have experience and interest in managing employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion initiatives; be CIPD qualified; have excellent and adaptable organisation, communication and interpersonal skills; and will enjoy working with a variety of people, with a strong ability to listen effectively.
