Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a new Head of Membership to lead and grow their 16,000-strong employer network. You’ll be ambitious, values-driven and passionate about bringing communities together to create real change. The foundation is part of a larger organisation, the UK’s largest people-powered alliance, bringing communities together to create real change.

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a national movement. You’ll lead the strategy, relationships and delivery behind their accreditation programmes, ensuring employers not only join, but stay engaged and drive meaningful improvements in working conditions. You’ll also play a key role in shaping wider organisational strategy as part of the senior leadership team.

You’ll be a confident leader, with experience working across national and local delivery or community-led approaches, who can operate at scale, with a track record of delivering strategy through teams. You’ll have strong commercial awareness, experience developing partnerships or new income streams, and understand what motivates employers, able to lead complex programmes with clear outcomes. You’ll bring excellent relationship management skills, with demonstrable experience working with senior, c-suite and influential stakeholders, and be comfortable presenting to large groups. Passionate about developing people and building high-performing teams, you’ll be able to use data and insight to improve team performance and decision-making.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Setting the strategic direction for Living Wage, Living Hours and Living Pension accreditation
  • Growing and retaining a thriving network of employers across sectors and regions
  • Building high-impact partnerships with senior leaders across business, public and third sectors
  • Leading and developing a large, high-performing team across the UK
  • Driving innovation—spotting opportunities, testing new approaches and scaling what works
  • Using data, systems and insight to continuously improve employer experience and impact
