The Head of Professional Learning & Development is responsible for leading the strategic design, development and continuous evolution of CoSRH’s professional learning and development portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, educational quality standards, digital innovation and commercial objectives.

Reporting to the Director of Learning, Product & Innovation, the role plays a critical leadership function in translating strategic priorities into high‑quality, scalable learning products that meet the needs of the sexual and reproductive healthcare workforce in the UK and internationally.

The role:

Learning and development sit at the heart of what the College does and the Head of Professional Learning & Development plays a pivotal role in delivering our existing portfolio of education and training products. Leading a small team of product specialists, you will support the development of the portfolio as well as improve the experience of those undertaking our market-leading training.

You will have a strong background in the provision of learning and development programmes, ideally in the healthcare sector, with demonstrable positive impact on growth and quality. You will have experience of developing and delivering online and face-to-face development products and projects. Ideally, you will also have experience of supporting learners outside the UK. As one of the few medical Colleges with multidisciplinary membership, you will ensure we meet the aspirations and expectations of those across the sexual and reproductive healthcare workforce, ensuring that the products and services, and their delivery, meet their needs and the needs of their patients.

We are looking for someone who takes cross-organisational collaboration seriously, using your excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior members of the College.

Role purpose

The Senior Individual Giving Manager is responsible for driving the growth of Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis’ individual giving income through data-led acquisition, engaging fundraising campaigns and exceptional donor stewardship. This role owns the income targets and leads the strategy and execution of individual gifts, regular giving, direct mail appeals (digital and print), inmemory giving and lottery. They will coordinate direct mail campaigns and support the Operations team to deliver meaningful stewardship. Collaborating with teams across the organisation, the post holder will proactively identify opportunities to introduce fundraising asks within engagement journeys, helping convert new audiences into long-term supporters. They will ensure APF’s campaign planning and engagement pathways are designed with inclusion and lived experience at their core, while driving sustainable income growth through acquisition and retention. Combining strategic thinking with storytelling, data insight, careful planning and management of warm stewardship, you’ll ensure donors feel valued and inspired to continue supporting APF.

Key Responsibilities

1. Individual giving strategy and stewardship

• Lead and grow APF’s individual giving programme, helping to build meaningful relationships with our supporters.
• Map out and improve the donor journey from first interaction through to long-term support, increasing acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
• Track and monitor income performance, contributing insight to forecasting and helping shape realistic and ambitious targets.
• Lead on the evaluation and analysis of the Individual Giving programme by monitoring performance against objectives and using sector trends, benchmarking and competitor insights to strengthen our approach.
• Identify and address any barriers in the donor journey to improve conversion and engagement.
• Support the Operations Team to deliver consistently meaningful and timely stewardship to individuals including those giving in memory of loved ones.

2. Direct mail campaign coordination

• Coordinate direct mail appeals and renewal campaigns from planning through to delivery, developing compelling fundraising requests aligned to organisational priorities and connect supporters with APF’s impact.
• Develop campaign briefs, segmentation plans and income projections.
• Manage campaign timelines and work with external suppliers where required to ensure activity runs smoothly.
• Monitor response rates, ROI and overall income performance.
• Capture and apply learning from each campaign to continually improve and strengthen future activity.

3. Regular giving programme development

• Lead the development and growth of APF’s regular giving programme, including the lottery product, helping to build a strong and sustainable base of monthly supporters.
• Create recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies that welcome and inspire regular donors.
• Develop tailored stewardship journeys that keep monthly supporters connected to the impact of their giving.
• Monitor and track acquisition, attrition and upgrade trends to inform future growth.
• Test and refine propositions to strengthen long term income and supporter engagement.

4. Data segmentation and insight

• Lead audience segmentation across individual giving activity to ensure supporters receive relevant and meaningful communications.
• Use CRM data and behavioural insight to inform targeting and messaging and campaign planning.
• Produce regular analysis of performance sharing insights and recommendations.
• Champion a culture of testing, learning and continuous improvement across fundraising activity.

5. Acquisition through engagement pathways

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Services, Involvement and other teams to identify opportunities to introduce appropriate fundraising requests within wider engagement journeys.
• Use a mixture of digital and direct mail acquisition techniques to attract new supporters, increasing both the number of donors and their engagement with APF.
• Support the development of workflows that that define next steps following different types of engagement and shape clear engagement pathways that support conversion from initial engagement through to appropriate fundraising opportunities.
• Ensure lived experience and inclusive practice are reflected in all design and messaging.

6. Supporter care standards and compliance

• Support operational teams to deliver a high standard of supporter care at every stage of the supporter journey.
• Provide guidance on stewardship principles and help navigate more complex supporter relationships.
• Work with the Governance and Operations Manager to ensure all activities complies with GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
• Use data and engagement insights to identify high-value or high-potential supporters and refer them appropriately.
• Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives, including attending and contributing to cross organisational meetings.

As a local grant maker, Young Camden Foundation's grants processes and operations are key to our success. This role will suit an adaptable and organised team player, who is up for a challenge and keen to learn. 

You will lead and develop YCF’s significant grant-giving programmes, organising and improving the grants process, keeping donors in the loop, and communicating the impact of the small grants programmes, and coordinating support from the team to ensure this work is well supported. In this role you will oversee both YCF’s small grants programmes to members, and also YCF’s delivery of the Holiday Activities & Food Programme, which together amount to around £900,000 per year in grants out to Camden’s youth sector.

You will lead on YCF’s operations, including clerking to the Board of Trustees, ensuring timely applications and reporting to funders, and overseeing all aspects of YCF’s operations. You will be supported by our Operations & Administrations Apprentice. You will support the CEO across YCF’s partnerships, cultivating our pipeline of funders, including Trusts & Foundations and corporate donors, and spotting and supporting opportunities wherever you can.  

As a natural team player working in a small team, you will spot opportunities to support  YCF’s membership (especially regarding grants) and the other functions of YCF’s work. As a place based organisation, you will ensure you are known in the local community, and amongst our key stakeholders, including grassroots VCS partners, Camden Council, and our key funders.

Along with the CEO and the Head of Membership & Impact, you will support YCF’s partnerships, including with business neighbours, spotting opportunities to amplify YCF’s work. In this important and dynamic role you will lead on both, working closely with the CEO to also support fundraising and partnerships.

Main Purpose of the Role

Grants management:

· Grants management: You will direct and lead the YCF small grants programmes (including Small & Mighty Fund, Holiday Opportunities Fund and Heads Up Mental Health Fund, of around £150,000 p.a.), including leading on design and guidelines, engagement with YCF’s grants committee structures, and reporting back to Trustees and funders. You will lead on grants decisions processes and communications, as part of YCF’s membership offer. You will oversee all due diligence processes as part of YCF’s grant giving offer, and ensure smooth reporting cycles with grantees

· Strategic oversight of HAF: Strategic leadership of the Camden HAF programme, overseeing the HAF Programme Manager in the stewardship of this DfE programme, and retaining oversight of key deliverables, together with the Heads of Children’s Commissioning at Camden Council

Fundraising and reporting:

· Fundraising: You will maintain our pipeline of supporters, including of our grants rounds, and lead reporting for YCF’s grants and core funding to funders, supported by the team. You will ensure timely funding applications submissions Together with the Head of Membership & Impact, you will support the CEO in all fundraising for YCF and our programmes, including identifying funding and partnership opportunities, drafting bids and pitches, and so on.

· Reporting: You will oversee and deliver timely reporting across YCF’s funders. You will manage and be supported by the Operations Apprentice to ensure smooth and timely processes. You will ensure YCF’s monitoring and evaluation frameworks are fit for purpose. You will work with the rest of the team to ensure this function is properly and efficiently supported, and will proactively identify ways to more efficiently record and report on information to funders, including effective use of our CRM.

Operations and governance:

· Operational leadership: You will be responsible for YCF’s operational running as an organisation, ensuring our processes are smooth and fit for purpose. In practice, this may include supporting the CEO in operational and strategic planning, supporting budget oversight (and leading in the areas of grants). Supported by the Operations Apprentice, you will oversee YCF’s HR processes for onboarding, recruitment and so on.

· Governance: You will support YCF’s governance processes, due diligence and compliance, ensuring YCF is compliant with our charitable obligations, and ensure our policies are up to date and we are compliant with them.

· Board minute taking: You will take minutes of YCF’s Board meetings, and ensure actions are followed up with, and oversee the Operations Apprentice in the setting up of meetings and logistics. You will support the CEO and Chair with the preparation of papers, as needed.

Management and leadership

· Management: You will manage two important roles for YCF, modelling leadership at YCF, alongside the CEO and the Head of Membership & Impact

We are looking for our new Financial Controller: someone who takes pride in running an excellent finance operation and who enjoys being closely involved in the life of a college.

This is a senior role at the heart of the College’s professional services team. Reporting to the Treasurer, the Financial Controller leads the College’s finance function and ensures the delivery of high-quality financial management, reporting and control across the organisation.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience of running a highly effective finance operation, but who is also curious and interested in the wider context of the organisation they support. College life is varied and dynamic, and the finance team plays an important role in supporting activity across academic, operational and commercial areas of the College.

You will be a key member of the Treasurer’s senior management team and the operational lead for the College’s finance function. Senior colleagues across the College look to the Financial Controller for sound financial advice as they develop plans and initiatives, and the role provides an opportunity to contribute to decision-making across a wide range of activities.

You will lead a finance and payroll team of nine staff (6 FTE) and will be responsible for the integrity of the College’s financial reporting, control environment and systems. The role also involves working closely with the Governing Body and its committees, providing clear and insightful financial information that supports effective governance and stewardship of the College’s resources.

JOB PURPOSE

The UK Education Manager provides operational leadership and supports strategic direction for BPNA’s UK education portfolio. The role is accountable for the short-course programme (about 36 courses per year), the annual conference, distance learning support, Instructor Training Day, new course development and faculty development. The post oversees budget responsibility for UK Education and Conference income, which together represent a substantial proportion of BPNA’s annual turnover.

This role is based at the Bolton office, where you will lead two of the BPNA Education team while working and liaising with the Education Content Co-Ordinator, based in the London office

The post-holder is an active member of the BPNA Secretariat Management Team, and serves as Secretary to the Education, Quality & Standards Committee and related steering groups. The role requires leadership, sound judgement and a hands-on, highly organised approach to complex programme delivery.

ABOUT YOU

This role would suit an organised, efficient and practical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good deal of common sense.  You will also have diplomatic skills and the ability to build good relationships.  You will need to be flexible, have an ability to problem-solve on-site and online, organise highly educated people whilst remaining calm and maintaining a sense of humour.

LOCATION

We are looking for a successful Philanthropy & Fundraising Manager with a proven track record in face-to-face major donor fundraising, or an individual with outstanding transferable skills and experience of working within the charity sector. Purpose
The Philanthropy Manager will create and drive The Hunslet Club’s fundraising strategy by cultivating and securing significant philanthropic support a new capital project to expand opportunities for young people across South Leeds. This role is central to building meaningful, long-term relationships with individual donors, trusts, foundations and partners, translating their passion for youth development into transformational investments that strengthen programmes, increase participation and create sustainable impact. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with confident stewardship, ensuring that funding growth aligns with The Hunslet Club’s mission to help young people achieve their full potential.

Duties and responsibilities

The Philanthropy & Fundraising Manager will work on a full-time basis, or part-time on a pro-rata basis. The primary responsibility of the role is to secure £700,000 and above in philanthropic income over a 18 month period. This will be achieved through identifying, researching and cultivating individual donors, corporate supporters, trusts, foundations and strategic partners, using research tools and publicly available information to build and manage a strong portfolio of prospects, particularly those with an interest in supporting young people and communities.

To be successful, the postholder will develop an excellent understanding of The Hunslet Club, its mission and its inspirational youth and community work, and will help to develop and articulate a compelling case for support. The role will involve achieving a clearly defined set of Key Performance Indicators, providing high-quality stewardship to maximise donor retention, and maintaining, developing and leveraging existing relationships with current supporters. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Executive/Senior Leadership and Trustees, to ensure effective involvement in fundraising activity where appropriate.

The successful candidate will organise suitable events and cultivation opportunities to build long-term relationships with potential supporters. Attendance at events, meetings and conferences will be required, with support from Executive/Senior Leadership and Trustees.
