We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join the Living Wage Foundation team as an Events Manager. You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting the team with innovative events to promote the Living Wage movement, support the existing employer network, increase public support for fair pay and encourage Living Wage accreditation.

You will be responsible for our annual Champion Awards ceremony and organising parliamentary events, roundtables and webinars for our network of employers and beyond, as well as providing strategic oversight of events at our annual Living Wage Week in November where we celebrate Living Wage Employers nationwide with multiple events.

The ideal candidate would be an energetic and organised events manager, with strong project management skills, the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders internally and externally and the skills to establish strong relationships. They would have experience running online and in-person events with clear objectives and connecting them to organisational strategy.

This post will be joining a Communications team that spans events, media, digital communications and research, with colleagues based across the UK with monthly in-person team meetings. They will be responsible for the line management of the Events Officer. They will report to the Senior Media & Communications Manager.

The Development Manager (Grants) leads on bid-writing and relationship building with grantmakers (Trusts/Foundations/Public). The candidate will be a key player in the Grants team alongside the Director of Development (Grants/Major Gifts) and Development Officer. Create has seen its fundraising increase significantly in recent years, as it fulfils its ambitious plans to double its reach by its 25th anniversary in 2028. The Grants team is responsible for securing over 50% of the charity’s income, managing an extensive portfolio of T/F/Public funders, approaching a well-researched pipeline of potential funders, and researching prospects. 2. MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

To support the management, administration and development of the Sustainable Future grant programme and occasional related initiatives.

4. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

4.1       GRANT PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

To work within organisational strategies and policies, and in accordance with the priorities and guidance as specified by the Programme Manager:
 

• Contribute to the delivery of all aspects of the grant cycle, including responding to applicant inquiries, assessment of applications, presenting and discussing applications with the grant committee and communicating decisions to applicants. On occasion, there may a requirement to contribute to this work for other JRCT grant programmes.

• Assist with monitoring grantees’ work and expenditure of JRCT funds.

• Contribute to the design and delivery of networking, convening or learning initiatives for grantees. 

• Manage and co-ordinate the administration of external events and consultations.  

• Assist the Programme Manager with the administration of proactive projects.

• Keep abreast of external developments through reading, attending conferences and similar events, and liaising with other funders.

• Contribute to the development of grant policy and grant programme reviews.

4.2 GRANT PROGRAMME ADMINISTRATION
 

• With direction from the Programme Manager, co-ordinate and contribute to the preparation and circulation of committee papers for the grant cycle, including writing assessment memos, meeting notes, agenda papers and minutes.  On occasion, there may a requirement to contribute to this work for other JRCT grant programmes.

• Use the grants administration database to process and monitor grant applications and provide reports and statistics.  Maintain accurate database records to enable the appropriate payment and ongoing monitoring of grants. 

• Ensure that effective information storage and retrieval systems (paper and electronic) are developed, maintained and managed for the programme area and maintain records of committee membership and subscriptions.

• Arrange and co-ordinate committee meetings and meetings with applicants/grantees on behalf of the Programme Manager, including related travel, accommodation and room bookings, liaising with trustees and co-optees.

• Liaise with other staff and external colleagues on behalf of the Programme Manager and assist in implementing good communication systems for the staff team and wider organisation.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive this high-profile programme and deliver meaningful change for cancer services. 

This is a rare opportunity to shape how cancer teams work across the country and to deliver meaningful improvements for patients, clinicians and the wider cancer workforce. 

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of the Cancer MDT Reform Programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the health system including NHS England, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Department of Health and Social Care as well as senior Officers at the RCR, including regular reporting to our Vice-President for Clinical Oncology. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Leading the full project lifecycle, from developing detailed project plans to managing risks, timelines and reporting. 
• Delivering a large two-day national stakeholder event to gather insight and build consensus across the cancer community. 
• Drafting high-impact written outputs, including a flagship report outlining recommendations for MDT improvement to be shared with government.

• A senior data leadership role sitting at the heart of the Data & IT function, reporting to the CFO and working in close partnership with the Senior IT Manager — with this role taking lead responsibility for all things data

The Membership Marketing Manager is part of the Audience Insights & Engagement team within the larger Audiences Division.

As our Network Manager, you will live and breathe our network, developing a deep understanding of the makeup, needs and priorities of network members to lead effective engagement and establish a high quality experience. Experience we're after

• Proven experience in network development, membership engagement, or partnership management within the charity, youth, or community sector.

We promote hybrid working with three days per week worked at our office and gallery for full-time staff, and two days per week office and gallery working for part-time staff.

Wednesday is a whole team office and gallery day when staff meetings take place.

Salary - £65,000 to £70,000 gross per annum based on full-time working, equating to:

£39,000 - £42,000 gross per annum based on part-time working 3 days per week,

£52,000- £56,000 gross per annum based on part-time working 4 days per week.

Location - Crafts Council Office and Gallery is based on the Pentonville Road in Islington, London, with some hybrid / home working.
