We are now looking for an experienced Centre Operations Manager to play a key senior role in ensuring our busy community hub runs safely, smoothly and effectively for the thousands of people who use it each year.

About Abbey Community Centre

Abbey Community Centre works with people of all ages and backgrounds, with a particular focus on older residents and low-income families with young children. We deliver a wide range of activities, services and support including children’s stay-and-play sessions and drop-ins, fitness and wellbeing activities, befriending schemes, digital inclusion support, community meals, warm space provision, food support, volunteering opportunities and specialist outreach.

Alongside this community delivery, we manage a busy public building and a programme of room hire that helps generate income to sustain our work. With a small staff team, over 100 volunteers and many partner organisations, our operations need to be reliable, well-coordinated and people-centred.

The role and its impact

As Centre Operations Manager, you will be the organisation’s senior operational lead on the ground. Working closely with the CEO, you will hold delegated authority for the day-to-day running of the Centre — ensuring the building, people and systems all work together to support high-quality community activity.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining practical problem-solving with people management. You will line manage and help develop operational staff, oversee facilities and contractors, lead on health and safety and operational compliance, support volunteering, and ensure organisational systems and processes function reliably.

Your work will directly enable staff, volunteers and partners to deliver activities and services safely and confidently, and will help ensure Abbey remains a welcoming, accessible and well-run space for the local community.

• Oversee daily building operations, maintenance and contractor management

Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. This role supports the special projects work with the CEO and will work with the senior team to lead on the income and visibility opportunities that unlock our delivery for our three-year strategy.

Your Role’s Purpose

Year 1 of this role will be focused on business model development, income generation and strategic partnerships. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team, you will help shape, test and secure new funding and commercial opportunities that position Young Citizens for long-term sustainability and impact. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a confident and proactive Public Affairs and Media Officer to join our Media and Public Affairs team at an exciting time for child health policy and advocacy.

This is a varied and high-impact role at the heart of our influencing work. You will help shape and deliver campaigns that call on decision-makers to strengthen the child health workforce and services, tackle child health inequalities across the UK, and protect children’s rights. You will support the College’s public affairs, campaigning and media activity; ensuring paediatricians’ voices are heard where they matter most.

About African Rainbow Family

African Rainbow Family (ARF) is a UK-based, lived-experience-led grassroots organisation working with and for LGBTIQ+ refugees and people seeking asylum of African heritage and the Global Majority.

ARF was founded in 2014 in response to the criminalisation and persecution of LGBTIQ+ people across parts of Africa and the Commonwealth. Key responsibilities:

Supporter care and engagement

• Be the first point of contact for supporters' (existing and new) enquiries by phone, email, letter, website and any other fundraising channels. Ensure they experience an excellent standard of response and experience.
• Be responsible for ensuring donations are thanked promptly and for establishing excellent standards of supporter care.
• You will look for opportunities to send stories and communications that show the Mission’s appreciation including leading on the LCM wide thank you events to Individual Giving supporters.

• Respond to the cancellation of donations thanking the supporter for their gifts and ensure that the cancellation was planned.

 Data and insights

• Ensure all supporter information and interactions are captured accurately, up to date and stored in the fundraising CRM in line with GDPR and organisational policies to allow LCM to maximise income. This includes creating new records, assist with managing online donation pages and communicate with supporters on communication preferences and gift aid.
• Run regular reports to track supporter engagement, retention, and income trends.
• Use insights to improve supporter stewardship and fundraising journeys.

Proactive fundraising support

• Identify opportunities to deepen supporter relationships, including upgrading gifts, promoting campaigns, or encouraging long term commitments.
• Support the delivery of fundraising appeals, events, and supporter journeys.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the fundraising team to deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
• Maximise income by ensuring gift aid declarations are correct and up to date giving supporters every opportunity to opt in. 

Donation processing and administration

• Accurately set up new direct debits and Gift Aid declarations.
• During staff absence support the recording and reconciliation of donations if necessary.

Fundraising and supporter partnerships team

• Represent LCM at external events and conferences each year where the SPO will be expected to communicate LCM’s vision with a passion for and understanding of the gospel message, as well as share their personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
• Provide support and take part in meetings, activities and events in the Fundraising and Supporter Partnerships Team.
• Fully participate in the spiritual life of the Mission including attending the annual week of prayer, the monthly Team Day and daily staff prayers.

The Role

Future Advocacy is seeking a Research, Advocacy and Communications Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to be thrown in at the deep end in a small but growing, dynamic organisation that places a strong focus on team and personal development. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in a range of skills, including research, advocacy, writing, and communications. They will work closely with, and learn from, our energetic and talented team at all levels, contributing directly to our campaigns and initiatives from day one.

About the role and you

We are looking for a data professional to support and manage significant changes in the way our charity uses, processes and manages data. Our teams pride themselves on evidence-informed practice, using research and data to enhance their work at every stage. We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to help us make this change. You will be based in the LFF Research Team, reporting to our Director of Research and Impact.

This role will facilitate better use, processing and management of data across the organisation. It will focus on four areas:

• Data security and compliance

The postholder will work alongside experienced researchers to develop a new portfolio of priority projects to enhance our work.
