About the role
Galop is looking for an experienced monitoring and evaluation professional to act as a specialist lead within the charity on monitoring, analysing and evaluating our internal services data for robust research and reporting. You will work with Galop’s services, including our Helplines, Advocacy & Support and Therapeutic Services and will report to the Director of Services.
As the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, you will work closely with the Services, Policy and Evidence, and Fundraising teams, as well as the Senior Leadership Team and the Data Protection Officer.
Location: This role is offered on either a National (remote) contract basis, or a London-based contract basis (which includes London weighting and the expectation of 2 days per week in Galop’s central London office).
Hours: This role can be offered on either a full-time (35 hours per week) basis, or potentially on a 3 or 4 day per week basis. We are open to flexibility in our approach, as we want to consider a wide range of applicants, including those who may have caring responsibilities, health limitations or other needs.
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Director of Services
Salary: This role is offered on Band F of Galop’s pay scales.
The starting salary is F1 which equates to:
£27,774.92 per year FTE on a remote National contract.
£31,986.91 per year FTE including London Weighting of £4,212.01.

Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

We are recruiting two Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Team at YMCA East Surrey.
Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work. You will assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of
Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.
The post holder must have experience of working with children, young people and families with multiple and/or complex needs and hold a minimum qualification equivalent to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
For the Level 6 (Graduate Diploma) the minimum level would be 3 x A-levels with grades of AAB - BBB (BBC if meet the criteria for contextual offer), or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ level 3 or above, or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at graduate level). Evidence of experience of working with children and young people.
For the Level 7 (Post-graduate Diploma) the minimum requirement is a Graduate Degree at 2:2, NVQ level 6 or above in Health Care or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at post-graduate level)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Includes attendance at the University of Sussex 2 days per week from January to October.
Location: Tadworth, but working across various locations in East Surrey and attendance at the University of Sussex.
Key responsibilities:
· Working in partnership to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties
· To develop plans for successful intervention and agreed outcomes.
· To support and empower children, young people and families to make informed choices about the intervention.
· To always operate from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity.
· To accept referrals within agreed national and local protocols.
· To undertake accurate assessment of risk to self and others.
· To adhere to the service referral protocols. Under supervision, signpost unsuitable referrals to the relevant service as necessary.
· Through close case management and supervision, escalate cases where the level of need becomes beyond scope
· Provide a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments, primarily guided self-help.
· Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or CYP in treatment, where appropriate.
· Keep coherent records of all activity in line with service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision making.
· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.
· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days.
· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.

About the role
Individual giving is a fantastic, high performing team, generating over £20 million fundraised income per year. Your role will help to plan and develop fundraising strategy, budget management, as well as being responsible for delivering campaigns of significant scale and generating income both now and for the future.

The Role
Social prescribing link workers will work as a key part of the primary care network (PCN) multi-disciplinary team. Social prescribing can help PCNs to strengthen community and personal resilience and reduces health and wellbeing inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities. It particularly works for people with long term conditions (including support for mental health), for people who are lonely or isolated, or have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with direct supervision from the Programme Lead/Senior Link Worker and input from the PCN’s Clinical Lead GP, take referrals from staff in GP practices within the local PCN.
- Provide personalised support to individuals, their families and carers to take control of their health and wellbeing, live independently and improve their health outcomes, as a key member of the PCN multi-disciplinary team.
- Developing trusting relationships and taking a holistic approach, based on the person’s priorities and co-produce a simple personalised care and support plan to improve health and wellbeing, introducing or reconnecting people to community groups and statutory services.
- Work collaboratively with all local partners to contribute towards supporting local community groups and organisations, making themselves aware of local resources and “assets” through mapping and then building a relationship with these organisations. Also sharing intelligence regarding any gaps or problems identified in local provision with commissioners and local authorities.
- Social prescribing link workers will work collaboratively with GP’s and have a role in promoting social prescribing and educating non-clinical and clinical staff within their PCN multi-disciplinary teams on the benefits of social prescribing
- Raise awareness of other services available within the community and how and when patients can access them. Linking into the work of Neighbourhood Network Schemes, locality Adult Social Care & Community Mental Health Teams.
About You
As a Social Prescribing Link Worker, you will have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (Health & Social Care, Health Trainer, Health Improvement, Community Family Worker, Psychology) or be working towards/willing to work towards.
You will have:
- Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
- Experience of working directly in a community based context (including unpaid work)
- Experience of supporting people with a mental health need and or complexities/vulnerabilities
- Experience of delivering one to one support
- Experience of partnership/collaborative working and of building relationships across a variety of organisations
- Knowledge of VCSE and community services in the locality
- Understanding of the wider determinants of health, including social, economic and environmental factors and their impact on communities, individuals, their families and carers
- Understanding of the barriers faced by those living in isolation

The role
SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is a dynamic Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking for experienced practitioners based in the Thames Valley and the surrounding areas to provide support on a freelance basis to young people and parents/caregivers across all our services. Subcontracted sessional practitioners are contracted on a freelance basis to provide one-to-one support to young people and their parents. There are also opportunities to co-facilitate group work. Sessions may be delivered remotely or face to face, dependent upon the needs of clients. About you
You’ll have extensive experience of working with young people in a supportive role with a proven track record of building appropriate relationships and providing outstanding support to children, young people, and parents. You’ll be confident in designing individual intervention plans based on needs. An enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills, you’ll possess a positive, solution-focussed attitude. As a member of the Wider Leadership Team, reporting to the Director of Programmes, the Head of Therapeutic Support will influence strategy at the highest level, inspire confidence among church partners, statutory agencies, professionals, and other stakeholders, and manage clinical risk across TLG’s community-based services. They will be the authoritative voice on the way TLG works with children and families, ensuring strong ownership and impact throughout the organisation.
