We are now looking for a capable Senior Acquisition Officer to develop, test, learn and grow our acquisition programme.

• Manage acquisition campaigns end-to-end across multiple channels (digital, lead generation, DRTV, telemarketing, face-to-face).

• Support, train and monitor fundraising agencies, including occasional UK travel for campaign visits.

• Deliver early retention activities to engage new donors and improve conversion and retention rate

• Oversee data management and reporting in Salesforce, ensuring accurate coding, reconciliation and trend analysis.

Purpose of the Role: As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable income growth through high-impact, strategic and philanthropic partnerships with trusts, foundations and corporate partners.  
 

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you will lead the stewardship and growth of existing strategic partnerships, including managing a select portfolio of funders. Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

Working with the Senior Caseworkers and Team Manager your role and responsibilities include: 

•Support staff to liaise with young people and their families/carers to communicate information regarding our work

•Provide information, support, advocacy and guidance to children and young people from refugee backgrounds (and their families/carers when available), to ensure that they are able to access their educational rights.

•Increase communication and understanding between young people, families, social services, schools and other professionals

•Develop relationships with schools and relevant agencies, in order to make and obtain referrals, and support refugee young people and their families access educational services.

•Empower young people and their parents to take control and be their own best advocates

Main duties and responsibilities:

·Run 2 monthly evening drop in advice sessions at KLS youth club 

·Run 2 monthly drop in advice sessions at Southfields Acadmey

·Support refugee young people including unaccompanied asylum seeking young people (and their families/carers when available) to overcome barriers to access and thrive 

·Identify and assess their needs and advocate with them for their rights and entitlements

·Provide information and advice whilst working other agencies (e.g. social services, and mental health)

A keen understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and employee wellbeing is an advantage.

This role is essential to ensure we continue to be an effective, inclusive and people-led organisation. Your role will be vital in making sure Breaking Barriers is and continues to be a great place to work for its staff.

You will deliver day to day HR support to team members and managers, work across the organisation to advise on HR policies and good practice, deliver recruitment processes, and deliver and track Learning & Development. We’re recruiting for a Communications Manager, England, to play a vital role in helping us to build community cohesion, strengthen society, and improve lives – as we deliver on our strategy, It Starts With Community.This role is an 18 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.

Working pattern

This is a hybrid full-time role (typically 2 days on-site), 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday based in SW London with occasional travel to another office (around once a month).  The other office is about 20  minutes from Clapham or London Bridge.

Flexible working hours are available but please note that you would need to ensure you are on-site on time for any meetings. 

About you

My client requires someone who has the experience of supporting senior management on governance and organisational matters, ideally in a science-based working environment as you will be taking minutes from science meetings, so could prove challenging without that understanding.

They will support the Head of Communications with the execution of Bite Back’s overarching communications strategy, ensuring our content and media coverage consistently contribute to our brand and campaigns objectives.

The Museum is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual for the role of Philanthropy Manager. The role will be focused on raising funds from high-net-worth individuals capable of giving six-figure gifts and key in achieving our strategic priorities. It will involve working both independently and closely with senior stakeholders in order to cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing funders, securing income towards a diverse range of core and capital projects.

The Role 
Working within our International Partnerships, Programmes and Research (IPPR) team, you will develop, accompany, and coordinate locally-led peacebuilding projects, partnerships and networks, primarily in conflict-affected countries in the Great Lakes and Central Africa regions of Africa. You will also support the coordination of partnerships and engagement with local peacebuilding efforts in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) within our multi-year programme ‘Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System’, funded by the Dutch MfA.

As Senior Partnerships and Programmes Officer you will work closely with our SPOs who manage existing partnerships and create opportunities to bring partners together to learn from one another. You will also support the development, coordination and delivery of Local First, working closely with the International Programmes Manager and Peace Direct’s Netherlands Country Representative.

We are looking for someone with experience supporting peacebuilding, development or humanitarian projects, with a good understanding of peacebuilding approaches, and who can build effective, trust-based relationships with local partners. You must be a team player who enjoys working collaboratively, have excellent organisational skills and be able to work in both English and French.
