You’ll lead on building and delivering our strategy for major donors and corporates, cultivating long-term partnerships rooted in shared values. Our partner is seeking a consultant to conduct a review of its finance function, including structure, processes and systems with a view of improving effectiveness and efficiency. This exercise stems from the fact that the finance function of the organisation has developed organically over the course of the organisation’s life and growth, covering the expansion of programmes and the opening of new administrative offices.

Scope of the Review

• Review of the current structure - assess what functions are best delivered in each location, the skillset of finance staff and what capacity is needed in each location to deliver these services.
• Review of the processes and systems; and make recommendations on how processes might be streamlined to address bottlenecks and streamline these.
• Advise on how the finance function might operate more effectively as a global function
• Advise on what IT/systems solutions might further improve efficiency

Requirements

• A qualified senior finance professional with experience of change management within an international not for profit, specifically reviewing the structure of the finance function, undertaking in-depth review and analysis of global processes and systems.
• Experience of working in a complex grant-funded environment with knowledge of full grants cycle management.
• Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills.

They anticipate this project to start in October 2025, ending in December 2025. The postholder will be working closely with the COO who has a vision of what the change process will entail, alongside two other significant pieces of work the organisation is undertaking at the same time.

The Role

Reporting into our Customer and Neighbourhood Director, you'll be responsible for the development of strategies, policies and procedures relating to all tenancy sustainment activities. Being a specialist in this field, you'll also scan the horizon to identify potential significant changes in external policy and financial landscape, introducing best practice from other organisations and sectors.

You'll be the main point of contact internally for all matters relating to tenancy sustainment, working collaboratively across the business to ensure that consistent best practices are embedded within Locality teams and the wider business. Externally, you'll represent SNG and our commitment and vision in tenancy sustainment – influencing and working alongside key external stakeholders and delivery partners, building relationships aligned to our corporate and customer strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to provide and source expert advice, and manage the development of services, to ensure SNG meets its commitments, monitors its performance and evidences its delivery relating to regulatory obligations, changing regulations, guidance and best practice
• Developing and leading a stakeholder management plan across local, regional and national government bodies responsible for the delivery to specialist areas
• Piloting partnerships with other services to enhance the provision of support to SNG's customers and developing funding solutions to provide support to core budgets
• Managing large complex annual budgets, ensuring appropriate monitoring of expenditure and compliance with procedures and levels of approval

What we need from you

Ideally you should have previous experience in a similar senior role, with strong experience and knowledge of the latest requirements for housing providers across tenancy sustainment.  You'll also need:

• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks
• Evidence of delivering on innovative concepts, utilising future changes in policy to support flexibility in a responsive organisation
• Experience of promoting an organisation at a regional and national level to raise the profile of the business
• Ability to inspire, support and develop others to optimise their performance

You will have retrofit experience which will help to build our paid-for whole-house retrofit services, secure funding through publicly funded programmes and identify wider funding opportunities. Working with the Director of Household Energy Services (HES) and as a member of the HES Leadership Team, you will deliver a clear vision and strategic direction for the retrofit team. Pay and conditions

• The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) however, we are prepared to be flexible and will accept offers from those who would prefer part time work of 30 hours.

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Oversee key aspects of retrofit delivery in the HES portfolio, including resource utilisation and workload planning, project monitoring and evaluation.
• Ensure retrofit staff in the HES team remain utilised by other departments and are sufficiently supported to deliver their work and reach their potential.

Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years. 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Adults Peer Support Worker to join our busy Peer Support team. You will have your own lived experience of mental health issues and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge to support others.

RB Mind has run effective peer-led services for many years. The role will be supported by RB Mind Senior Peer Support Workers, and the Peer Support Coordinator in South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG). Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and clinical supervision.

With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We offer holistic and personalised care and support to service users.

The role has its own caseload and provides a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery. As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicant will have the skills to provide person-centred support through one-to-one sessions and facilitating groups. Founded in 1897, LSE Students' Union is one of the oldest Students' Unions in the UK and is the representative and campaigning body for students at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).  Like other Students' Unions, it also funds and facilitates student activities of campus, including societies, sports clubs through the Athletics Union (AU), the Media Group and Raising and Giving (RAG) charitable fundraising initiatives. 

 

About the job
 

LSESU is looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about student experience to join our Student Voice Team. You will need to have a good eye for detail, a proactive approach, and be willing to get stuck into all aspects of student democracy. The successful candidate will support the Student Voice Team in the delivery of LSESU’s democratic processes, and lead on key projects such as our annual elections.
 

This role will involve supporting with a variety of tasks, including liaising with key stakeholders, engagement and outreach planning, and database administration. This is the ideal opportunity for someone with an ability to work collaboratively with people, and a passion for delivering high quality opportunities for membership engagement.

In this newly created role, you’ll help strengthen our Global Selection Programme (GSP), with a particular focus on volunteer engagement and clear, effective communication. You’ll also play a vital role in developing an alternative admissions pathway for students who currently face barriers to applying—expanding access to a transformative education.

Thanks to funding received from Building Communities Trust Invest Local Programme, The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are currently looking for a dynamic person to support community action within the community of Cefn Golau. This role will require you to support the delivery of projects and programmes of work identified in the Cefn Golau Driving Change Plan working with the Building Communities Trust Invest Local Officer, Cefn Golau Together, residents, volunteers, groups, stakeholders and partners. The role will be to manage and develop a community venue with the aim of sustaining community activities and services beyond the Invest Local funding. You will also work with partner organisations to address any gaps in provision identified with the local community.
