This leadership role will play a critical part in leading the strategic change programme for animal care, by planning, co-ordinating and monitoring all the change projects as one overall plan needed to drive the continued transformation of our animal care and teams. They will also oversee the regular planning and monitoring of Operational business plans to ensure they are on track and in synchrony with the change plans.

The Role

Advice Service Delivery Manager
The newly created Advice & Support Team plays a key role in delivering Battersea’s increased strategic focus on early intervention in the pet ownership journey. By offering well-timed expert and empathetic support and advice before owners reach crisis point, the team aims to prevent avoidable animal welfare issues and reduce the number of pets relinquished for preventable reasons.
A key service in this area is the Behaviour Advice Line (BAL), currently delivered by our Animal Behaviour Team. This new role exists to lead the development of a clear, evidence-based service model and plan to transform the line into a cost-effective multi-channel service that delivers measurably improved impact for owners and their pets.
The role is for one year with the outcome to develop a detailed service model and associated change plan and budget, that is evidence based, co-designed and in alignment with the future Advice and Support strategy and Operations structure. Iterative changes should be identified for service improvement within the year and a business case for investment produced by the end of July 2026.

You will be an important member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the CEO to drive income growth. 5. Work with the CEO and Finance Manager to manage the allocation of costs across the budget and to ensure delivery in line with funding requirements.

7. Produce funding applications with informative narrative content and robust data
8. Maintain a monitoring schedule and produce reports in line with funder/stakeholder requirements also with informative narrative content and robust data
9. Maintain regular communication with funders and potential funders to build strong working relationships and increase funding opportunities
10. Support the CEO in developing strategic and operational plans for the organisation
11. Monitor and collate other outcomes and achievements of the organisation.

About us
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

In this role, you’ll deliver integrated communications that bring our missions and the story of National Lottery funding to life. You’ll be the strategic voice behind the campaigns that highlight how communities are creating lasting social change.
You will focus on two key areas - your country, Scotland, and one of the four core missions - creating powerful alignment between them and helping to showcase the impact of community-led projects across the UK.
You’ll work closely with Strategic Communications Leads and other colleagues across the organisation to deliver communications plans that align with our corporate strategy and customer journey. Your work will help shape public understanding of the Fund, build trust with stakeholders, and inspire communities to engage with our funding.
We are looking for a creative and strategic communicator with a passion for storytelling. You’ll be experienced in developing integrated campaigns and working across teams to deliver high-impact communications.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop deep insight into at least one portfolio and mission, to enable you to implement effective communications plans for your mission and portfolio, aligned to the corporate plan, and the Fund’s customer journey, including supporting the Strategic Communications Lead to build and manage matrix teams.
- Provide communications support to portfolio and mission leads, including creating messaging, narrative and content, social and brand assets, working closely with colleagues in the wider team to deliver effective and impactful communications activities.
- Build relationships with journalists and lead on devolved media relations activities in your country, working closely with colleagues in the media team to deliver integrated activities, monitoring media and advising on opportunities and risks. Ensure rapid response to emerging issues with processes and protocol on lines to take and spokespeople, including participating in the out of hours on call rota.
- Liaise with colleagues in funding teams to identify opportunities for storytelling, working with the content manager to bring these to life
- Liaise with internal communications colleagues to ensure external communications generate engagement within the Fund
- Project manage and deliver corporate communications assets, including the annual report and corporate strategy updates.

This role will be a key strategic advisor and responsible for high-level planning conversations to WaterAid UKs largest income generating Directorate: Communications and Fundraising. As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for helping shape the strategic direction of fundraising team. This is a high-profile role, enabling Water Aid UK’s senior leadership to deliver and support the delivery of WaterAid’s ambitious programmatic activity.

The key duties of the Senior Finance Business Partner are as follows:
- Owning relationships with key senior stakeholders within the Communications and Fundraising Directorate.

- Own directorate specific timelines for delivering financial forecasts and budgets.

The successful candidate will have:
- Completed a professional accounting qualification or be part-qualified with relevant professional experience.

- Ability to analyse large quantities of data with a view to identifying trends and key drivers.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers, connect work across teams, and lead our new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function. As part of IRMO’s Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver our organisational strategy. You will also play a central role in our participation in the London Communities Human Rights Programme – a four-year project supporting us to embed a human rights-based approach in all areas of our work, in collaboration with the British Institute of Human Rights.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Case for Support & Impact Manager to develop completing, donor-centric materials that articular the impact, urgency and strategic importance of the charity’s work.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.
Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for translating complex programmes and ambitions into clear, inspiring and emotionally resonant content for high-value supporters including major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners. The post-holder will also collaborate across different organisational departments to ensure that the charity’s vision, impact and funding needs are effectively communicated and tailored for different audiences to help secure transformational income.
Essential experience for this role includes a proven track record in developing high-quality fundraising cases for support, proposals or donor communications in a charity or social impact setting. As well as excellent project management and organisational skills, you will have a strong understanding of high-value fundraising, particularly philanthropy and trusts and foundations funding.
