About the role
We are seeking an exceptional, creative and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new public fundraising and supporter engagement strategy, driving significant income growth across individual giving, legacies, community, events and trading.
As Associate Director, Public Fundraising, you will be a motivating leader for the talented Supporter Engagement team. You will work with your leadership group to build on our successful approach to mass fundraising, aligning with our new organisational strategy to drive long-term transformational growth.
We are seeking someone with a passion for audience-led fundraising, who will lead and empower the team of 46 to explore new opportunities, grow income and build sustainable relationships. Job Title: Cathedral Safeguarding Officer

Role Overview
The role of the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer is to maintain and build on the strong culture of safeguarding at Southwark Cathedral and carry out an effective safeguarding role as a key visible member of the Cathedral team. The role holder will promote awareness and understanding throughout the Cathedral community (staff, volunteers and worshippers) of the needs of children and vulnerable adults and actively promote the philosophy that their interests are paramount.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and implementation of Cathedral safeguarding arrangements, good practice, policy and training. The Cathedral Safeguarding Officer will make sure that safeguarding risks are appropriately managed and ensure that the Cathedral is applying any emerging national policies, procedures and best practice so that our ways of working continue to remain current.
NB: The successful applicant will play a leading role in the preparation for the upcoming INEQE safeguarding audit of Southwark Cathedral and Southwark Diocese scheduled June 2026. They will be supported in this aim by the appointed INEQE action group.
The role carries responsibility for safeguarding casework, including ensuring that allegations of abuse are promptly and appropriately handled, and where appropriate referred to the statutory authorities. Further, the role holder will effectively communicate and engage with survivors and victims of abuse.
The Cathedral Safeguarding Officer will advise the Cathedral on all safeguarding matters ensuring that all advice is in line with the law, government guidance and national policy and guidance from the House of Bishops. They will be supported in their role by three experienced volunteer cathedral safeguarding representatives who offer knowledge and experience of the cathedral. They will work collaboratively with peers in the Diocese and the National Safeguarding Team.

3. To work closely with the Director of Music and the Sub-Dean to ensure that the children and young people in the cathedral choirs and Sunday school are effectively safeguarded
4. To be responsible for recording, investigating and managing all Safeguarding concerns;
5. To assist the CSL with production of monthly and annual safeguarding reports and to attend Chapter (as required) and Committee Meetings (as directed).
6. To assist in the production of risk assessments, policies and procedures where there are safeguarding aspects to them.
7. To provide advice in relation to obtaining criminal record checks (DBSs) for staff and volunteers.

Major Donor Fundraising
• Successfully develop and implement the philanthropy strategy to secure and maximise funds from high value individuals for Action for ME achieving annual income of £250k+
• Set plans and budgets which will deliver income through major gift fundraising and philanthropic giving through family trusts and foundations, including quarterly forecasting.

About the Role
The role of Database Officer sits in the Data, Evidence and Monitoring team, at the junction of frontline services, fundraising and the leadership team. Centre 33 offers a free and confidential counselling service to young people aged 13-25, living in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We have a team of volunteer counsellors / therapists, from a range of modalities and backgrounds, some of whom are on clinical placement and others fully qualified. We also have a substantial team of Mental Health & Counselling Project Workers who are qualified to a minimum of Level 4 and support young people experiencing a range of difficulties, including more complex presentations that sit outside of the statutory offer. Case work includes ongoing counselling (in person, telephone and Zoom)- applying a short term model of 6 sessions (with option to extend to 12 in specific cases) alongside assessment and a ‘single session thinking’ approach.
Young people can access our counselling provision via our ‘Someone to Talk to Service’ which offers a ‘drop in’ triage to gain a holistic understanding of needs prior to joining a waiting list for intervention. Centre 33 also sits within the ‘YOUnited’ partnership- a single point of access for professional referrals where we work closely with CPFT, CCS and Ormiston Families to ensure needs are meet by the appropriate service.
In addition to the counselling service, we have other front line teams holding complex case work of young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Centre 33’s Clinical Supervisors are self-employed consultants, remunerated on an hourly basis for their work with us.
Principle Duties
The supervisor’s primary responsibility is to provide supervisees with professional consultancy for their work. Supervisors are expected to:
Offer regular fortnightly supervision to counsellors - a total of approx. 20 hours per year per counsellor.
Oversee the professional integrity of the work the counsellor is doing. ·
Be a resource for the professional development of the counsellor and to identify training needs for individual counsellors or the group as a whole. ·
Take part in six month probationary review of new counsellors and annual appraisal of counsellors. ·

About the role
The Senior Developer (Full-stack) plays a key role in developing and enhancing user-centric digital products at Christian Aid. This position focuses on delivering high-quality front-end (70%) and back-end (30%) solutions on the Drupal CMS, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.
Working closely with the Technical Lead, you’ll address complex challenges identified by stakeholders and user feedback, providing strategic direction and innovative solutions. This role is crucial to the success of our digital fundraising initiatives, requiring a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and strategic thinking.
Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining digital products, ensuring they meet user needs, adhering to accessibility standards, and maintaining brand integrity. Your work will be instrumental in creating engaging, user-friendly experiences that align with our organisational goals.

You have extensive experience in front-end development, complemented by a solid understanding of back-end technologies. Your passion lies in creating products that prioritise user experience, and you excel at crafting intuitive, visually engaging interfaces. As a strong communicator, you can effectively translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
