We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Development Manager to identify new funding opportunities and develop high quality funding proposals that generate income for CSE’s work in line with CSE’s strategy and objectives. Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Work effectively with others to develop funding proposals for CSE projects.
- Lead the response to competitive Invitations to Tender, which require a specific and timely response to a client’s brief and the ability to highlight and sell relevant CSE strengths and expertise.
- Support our development process by giving direction, supervision, and support to all contributing staff.
- Work with delivery teams and colleagues to set project budgets, costing work accurately using CSE’s development and financial tools.
- Ensure effective set up of new projects and facilitate the handover when a project bid has a successful outcome.
- Ensure appropriate quality checks are carried out on all proposals.

We are seeking a highly experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraising consultant to spearhead the Trusts programme at Dreams Come True. As an excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder, you will have a proven track record of successful fundraising in this area: ideally securing between 6 and 7-figure gifts.

The Senior Finance Officer will sit at the heart of our Operations Team, reporting to the Head of Operations and the Co-CEOs and playing a crucial function in ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of the organisation’s financial functions.
This will include all day-to-day management of our financial systems and banking, including our accountancy software (Quickbooks) and our internal financial spreadsheets. You will also research, advise and steer on both necessary changes to our processes, policies and procedures and standalone project work which may involve tasks such as reviewing our pensions processes or any savings and investments. You will understand and enjoy the challenge that working at a charity with multiple complex funding streams brings.
You will have experience of similar work, ideally in the charity sector and will be familiar with the use of both accountancy software and managing cashflows and budgets using Excel. You will have excellent communication and people skills as well as a proactive approach to problem solving and be methodical with a very keen attention to detail.

The Services Manager (Housing) will primarily focus on the managing New Horizon's Housing Advice service, delivered both from the day centre and remotely. You will work with the Head of Services to ensure the service responds holistically to young people with multiple needs or barriers. You should be experienced in the housing and homelessness sector, be a passionate advocate for young people. and have the ability to motivate a team to deliver high quality services in a fast-paced environment. You should be skilled in partnership management and able to collaborate to identify new housing solutions for young people.

This is an opportunity to help create the ideal nurturing, caring, safe environment from scratch. You will be working with a team of people that are there to support the opening of this new Children’s Home, in a fully refurbished property.
The Together Trust has formed a partnership with Manchester City Council to set up and provide an excellent children’s home where children with behavioural issues who have had a difficult start in life find a secure loving home.
You will help to create a caring home for up to 5 children who need permanent care or who need support to help them prepare for a move into foster care. You will work as part of a dedicated team to help support these children helping to build a better life for them.
Location – Lower Broughton / Cheetham Hill - North Manchester
Hours- 37.5 hours per week
Salary - £27,590
- Sleep in shifts paid at £96.00 per shift.

- As a children’s Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a residential childcare team providing support for the children and young people with their physical, emotional, and social needs with an emphasis on promoting their personal growth and independence.
- Working on your own initiative and as part of a team, you will be to preparing and assisting the children and young people to fulfil the aims of their person-centred plan.

About you….
We look for applicants who have the following skills.
- You must have your QCF level 3 / 4 in Children, young people, and family’s practitioner qualification or equivalent to be eligible to apply for this position.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, a large part of this role you will be working with Social Workers and parents.
- Previous experience in keyworking with the young people that we support, including primary responsibility in complex cases and being able consider the feelings and the wishes of the young people that we support.
- Previous experience in shift leading, supervising team members in the absence of the Registered Manager / Assistant Manager, including contribution to assessment and appraisal of the team.
- Have a sound knowledge around the safeguarding of the young people that we support.
- A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
- Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.
