In 2024, a staggering 4.1 million UK women experienced economic abuse at the hands of their current or former partner. The rising cost of living has only exacerbated the devastated impact of this form of domestic abuse.
Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.
Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.
This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Income will play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation and enabling us to scale our impact.
The Head of Income will lead a talented team, including our Senior Fundraising Manager (trusts and foundations) and Corporate Development Manager (strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships), and collaborate closely with our CEO, Trustees and earned income delivery teams (consultancy and training) whilst also being hands on in relationship development. Your approach will be collaborative, survivor-centred and driven by SEA’s values. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with strong experience in high-value fundraising and/or commercial income generation.

What the job involves
This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support High Value, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of high value fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.
Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand and our senior Business Partner in embedding and developing our business partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of High Value Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.
You’ll work closely with our Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships and Appeal teams to help plan and deliver inspiring communications that support our fundraising strategy. From pitching proposals and event promotion to major appeal campaigns, you’ll help build strong relationships with major donors and partners. You’ll also make sure high value fundraising activity is joined up with our wider communications and campaigns to grow fundraising revenue, support our community and improve outcomes for all men affected by and at risk of prostate cancer.
Please note this role is known internally as Communications Business Partner (High Value Fundraising).

Senior Philanthropy Manager

The role
As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sector-leading fundraising, sitting at the heart of a successful team to drive relationships and income from some of the UK’s leading philanthropists.
You will thrive in personally engaging with donors to proactively solicit major gifts, alongside leading and inspiring a team of major gift fundraisers. We have a well-connected and engaged Trustee Board and an experienced fundraising Chair.
This role reports to the Head of Philanthropy and Capital Campaigns and will line manage the Philanthropy Manager (currently being recruited) and Trusts Fundraising Manager (in post), with potential for further direct and indirect reports in the future.

Thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Pilgrim Trust, The Headley Trust, Granada Foundation & Arts Council England, The Silk Heritage Trust is embarking on an ambitious 18-month development programme Strengthening The Future of Macclesfield's Heritage.The Trust is working to establish The Silk Museum and Paradise Mill as a national centre for silk heritage and heritage textile crafts. Strengthening The Future of Macclesfield’s Heritage moves the Trust towards this vision, strengthening fundraising capacity plus staff and board skills, to provide a solid foundation for the future.
The Trust has achieved a great deal over the last 5 years, securing funding from public sources, trusts, and foundations. This newly created role will build on this success and attract substantial support from individuals and corporate sources. It involves working with internal and external stakeholders to raise funds for core funding, projects, and capital campaigns. It is envisaged that the post-holder will work with Trustees and staff to establish a Development sub-group to inform and drive this work. Strategic planning and communications are key to this. This role will drive forward new plans for individual giving, philanthropy and fundraising to significantly rebuild the Trust’s reserves.
Role:
To lead the Trust’s work towards financial resilience through broadening its income streams
To increase voluntary income from funders and philanthropists by 50%, reflating free reserves, through an ambitious Development & Fundraising Strategy
To initiate, lead, and deliver projects to develop and transform the work, premises, and staff of the Silk Museum & Paradise Mill, working with consultancy support to:
· Develop a 3-5 year business plan
· Cost and plan options for tackling the site:
o Limitations to accessibility and visitor welcome
o Constraints to income generation
o significant challenges to building maintenance, environmental sustainability, care, and display of our collections
o rising energy costs
· Secure funding for major conservation, building repairs and organisational development.
To build a new supporter community and membership offer to attract supporters and philanthropists for the Trust’s development plans
To build and lead strong relationships with partners for collaboration, fundraising, and sponsorship
To drive strong working relationships and communication with Museum staff, volunteers, and Trustees, to develop a broad fundraising ethos, including training and mentoring to Trustees and Museum staff
To keep current with fundraising sector developments, approaches, and opportunities
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
Development
· Review and develop the Trust’s Development & Fundraising Strategy, identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities, campaigns, and funding applications in line with this strategy, including:
o Trusts and foundations
o Statutory funders
o Corporate support and partnerships
o a new legacies programme, Supporters, and individual giving programmes
· Maximise income and in-kind support through fundraising activities onsite and online, including events and sponsorship, to engage current supporters and cultivate new relationships.
· Ensure that all fundraising activities are delivered professionally and timely to ensure maximum and meaningful engagement
· Manage the evaluation of fundraising activities and prepare and submit reports to key stakeholders.
· Deliver reporting for statutory funders, ensuring that the museum delivers on its reporting requirements in a timely manner.
General responsibilities and duties
· Oversee the work of the Programming Team (Senior Curator, Paradise Mill; Museum Curator; Community Engagement Programmer) in delivering, evaluating, and reporting on existing funded programmes, including Arts Council CIP, Pilgrim Trust, Granada Foundation, Foyle Foundation, and Macclesfield Town Council.
· Contribute to the success and culture of The Silk Heritage Trust
· Interact and cooperate proactively with all employees, trustees, and volunteers, ensuring good teamwork.

Woman’s Trust is the leading independent charity providing free and confidential mental healthcare to domestic abuse survivors throughout London and the South-East. About the role
As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022-2027 strategy. The Finance Manager is at the heart of Woman’s Trust; you will play an essential role and have oversight of not just the finance team - you will have direct exposure to CEO/Board Members and decision-making for the future of the organisation.
We are looking for a highly motived Temporary Finance Manager with demonstrable experience working in a similar senior level role. You’ll be a fully or part qualified accountant e.g. CIMA/ACA/ACCA/Cipfa, with a thorough understanding of charity accounting.

Key Responsibilities
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear Programme is effective.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network and create opportunities for volunteering, and jobs for Spear completers.
- Assist the Spear Trust in implementing their funding strategy by supporting with corporate relationships, and hosting local partners and donors on visits to the Training Room.
Oversight of the Spear Programme
- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 yoing people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo, Citizen Church and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education.
Line management and training
- Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by Resurgo to support with the ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPIs.
Church Community
- Spear South Wales is run in partnership with Citizen Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community.
- You will be required to establish a personal presence withing the community as your regular place of worship, and supprot the Spear Coach and Spear Trust in buildiing a strong and committed network of supporters int he partner church to help source employment, funding and volunteer opportunities for Spear.
- Ensure the Spear Programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services.
Site Management
- Liaise with relevant staff on site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy workspaces in line with health and safety policies.

Role Purpose
Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.
As Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for growing income from major donors and Trusts and Foundations through excellent donor stewardship. Leading a team of committed Trust fundraisers, you will focus on identifying prospective individual donors and foundations and develop lasting relationships with them. Leadership

You will be an important member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the CEO to drive income growth.
