We are looking for a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer to join a wonderful children's charity who are keen on once or twice a week in the London office.

Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer to join our skilled trusts and foundations team.

Reporting to the Development Manager, you will lead on managing and growing a portfolio of mid/high value charitable trusts and foundations, developing strong, long-term relationships and securing multi-year funding.

You will play a key role in writing compelling funding applications, delivering high-quality stewardship, and working closely with hospital partners to showcase the impact of work.

You will develop tailored, persuasive proposals and cases for support to secure four-and-five-figure grants and build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with funders, including core funders and long-term supporters.

You may also organise and lead funder visits and represent the charity at events.

Candidate

• Proven experience in trust and foundation fundraising.
• Track record of securing five-figure grants, developing new funding relationships, and ideally multi-year funding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different funders and create compelling proposals and reports.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; confident engaging with senior funder stakeholders.
• Good understanding of restricted and unrestricted funding and financial reporting.
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in fundraising databases (e.g. Donorflex, Salesforce, Raisers Edge) and data-driven income tracking.
