At The Sick Children’s Trust, we believe no child should face hospital alone and no family should be separated during one of the most challenging times of their lives. Through our ten ‘Homes from Home’ across England, we provide free accommodation and vital support, keeping families close to their seriously ill child’s hospital bedside.
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Trusts & Foundations Officer to join our passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownerships of a strong portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, developing long-term relationships and securing multi-year funding to sustain and grow our services.
You’ll have the opportunity, skills and talent to write compelling, tailored funding proposals, deliver excellent stewardship, and work directly with funders to demonstrate the impact of our work.
Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in the search for a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer.
The organisation is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. They support people facing financial hardship to access the resources and opportunities they need to thrive, while working to challenge stigma and change the systems that drive financial insecurity.
This is a full-time, permanent role paying a salary of £44,000 per annum. The postholder will be working in a hybrid model from their offices in London.
The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer will manage a number of mid-sized relationships, some of which are multi-year, so a strong demonstration of relationship management will be important. At the same time, as with all segments of the portfolio, there is substantial potential to grow this area, and the charity are keen to find someone who enjoys building new relationships as part of their role.
The charity are looking for someone with some trusts and foundations and/or statutory funding experience. You will need to be able to pick up a small number of warm relationships quickly and work with agility while the team solidifies.
